Well I took the big step and decided to go with a Brazilian wax. A friend and I went to Anna’s Skincare & Waxing in Poway. While we were both nervous, overall the experience wasn’t so bad. Anna walked us through the process and what to expect. Yes is was a bit uncomfortable at times but Anna and I were chatting the whole time and it took my mind off of it and it was done so quickly.
I highly recommend Anna for your next wax.

Anna knows how to get the job done with perfection. She is the best for sugar waxing if you want a Brazilian-​she can get everything! And she will tell you exactly what you do or don’t need, her services are exactly what you want. Every time I leave I think: why didn’t I go back sooner! Best in town

Highly recommend Anna’s Skincare and Waxing. I had never had a waxing before and ended up doing a Brazilian sugaring. I had previously been doing laser and that was a very painful and expensive. Anna was so good, the pain was very minimal. Not only was Anna very professional, she knew her stuff and was very informative. She was so good at putting you at ease and explaining everything, it was like hanging out with a girlfriend. Already set up my next appointment. She is awesome!

I have been going to Anna for waxing, facials, and microderm since 2001. She is the best. My skin looks younger and healthier. She has given me very helpful advice on daily skin care. And she has tamed my crazy hair patterns.
Anna is very friendly and welcoming. Her place is extremely clean and cozy. You won’t want to get off her treatment bed when the service is done. ;) Her schedule is flexible and she returns my calls for appointments promptly.
I would not hesitate to recommend Anna.

Anna is the best! She helped me to understand so many details about skin care that I never realized existed. She took the time to make sure I understood everything and allowed plenty of time for any of my questions to get answered properly.
She has over 25 yrs of experience with skin care and even has her license as an Esthetician. She really knows exactly what she’s doing and her expertise definitely shows.
She is down-​to-​earth and made me feel very comfortable during some waxing. I would recommend her to everyone and will definitely be returning to get my next skin care needs done by her again.

I have been a client of Anna’s for over 6 years. She is an expert at skincare and gives you no nonsense advice. She knows when I slack on skincare, but know how to fix me right up when my blackheads are all clogged up or certain area of my face is oily or dry. She just puts everything in balance!
When I first met Anna, she treated my several adult acne with a series of glycolics and then adjusted me to other treatments as my skin cleared up. Now I go in for maintenance, not treatments. She keeps my skin looking radiant and healthy. I am so happy to have such an expert taking care of my face! Thanks Anna!
