This is my favorite chain of frozen yogurt around here. It’s easy to understand once you step into the shop. The place is very, VERY clean in a good location. Lots of parking outside and next to a burger joint, so you can have dinner and grab dessert! Also, it’s near a great movie theatre so it’s a good place to stop! As for the frozen yogurt, I always enjoy every flavor. The flavors rotate weekly with seasonal selections. I love the birthday cake, banana, and coconut. They offer sorbets, too, for those who are lactose intolerant! Some of the flavors are low-fat but most are fat free! The toppings are always fresh and change weekly(I guess). They have FRESH fruit and FRESH baked good toppers. This is where Kiwi Yogurt stands out to the rest of the competitors. The cookie dough chunks(seen in my picture) are ACTUAL cookie dough pieces. There are no fake little frozen chunks of cookie dough flavored nuggets. The brownies, cheesecake, waffle pieces, cookie dough, etc. are ALL fresh. The only thing I wish this location had was frosted animal cookies. I know some of their locations offer it, but they never seem to have them. I wish they had some more topping options, in general, but they carry most of the basics! Waffle bowls are available and beware of how much you put in your bowls! It gets quite expensive VERY fast!

In general, I like Kiwi and was in the Pottstown area and craving froyo late at night, and luckily found this location. We got there about 10 minutes before the 10pm closing time, and I was amazed at how packed it still was. I’ve been to three different Kiwi locations now and they are setup the same with both indoor and outdoor(limited) seating. As crowded as these places get, there never seems to be enough seating available. You start off my picking up your cup(or waffle cup) and then select one or more from 16 foryo flavors to pour into your cup. I like to put 2 – 3 different flavors in mine. Next up are the toppings and you can pick from fresh fruit to candy to nuts to syrups. If you’ve been to any other froyo place, you’ll find many of the same toppings here. Finally, place your cup on the scale and see how much your owe. Current pricing is $ 0.45 an ounce. They do offer a rewards program where you get $ 4 off your total once you get 10 punches. The area where you get your toppings was pretty messy. I understand how easy it is to get it this way as some of those toppings can pour out pretty quickly, but someone should be coming by and wiping it up more frequently. Maybe because it was towards the end of the night, the workers figured they were going to have to clean up soon anyways. All in all, not a bad location and we like the yogurt here.

This place surprised me! When my mom suggested going to Kiwi Yogurt for a treat, I really didn’t expect them to have anything for dairy-free me. We’re way out in the sticks here, after all. But they had one sorbet,(pomegranate raspberry), lots of fresh fruit(I opted for blueberries), and vegan carob chips. That’s right, they even labeled them vegan! How could I say no?! My sorbet was so delicious that I didn’t miss the creamy stuff at all. I probably wouldn’t head here on my own since my options are very limited, but if friends or family wanted to go, I’d be really happy that I could join in on the fun. I’m a fan! Thanks for thinking about us vegans.

You’re not going to find a better frozen yogurt place than Kiwi. It has at LEAST double the amount of toppings as your run of the mill yogurt place. Kiwi also has a number of flavors that you don’t find elsewhere. Sure, it’s a tad pricey, but it’s worth every cent.

This was a one and done for us. I was excited when they moved in, and for a while, the place seemed crowded. We finally got around to trying it the other night, and genuinely don’t understand what all the fuss is about. Sure, it’s cool to make your own sundaes, and they have a very good selection of flavors of frozen yogurt, but the yogurt itself is kind of gross. It’s granular and icy, not smooth, and tastes rather like plastic. My son and I had the cake batter and the funfetti cupcake(not sure what the difference was — they both tasted the same) and my husband had the dark chocolate. The chocolate wasn’t too bad — much better than the cake flavored ones, but still not something I’d want to eat again. The topping selection was varied and definitely had something for everyone — chocolate covered marshmallows, fruits, fruity pebbles, candies, sprinkles, coconut, granola, and all kinds of syrups — caramel, chocolate, marshmallow, etc. You could really customize your creation, but be warned — they do charge by the ounce and it’s VERY easy to go overboard and end up paying more than you expected. AS with the yogurt, the selection of toppings was good, but the quality was lousy. Cheap chocolate coatings, cheap candy, etc. On the plus side, the fruit did look fresh and was nicely presented. There were three young women chatting away behind the counter when we went to check out. They’ll weigh your creations — for three very small sundaes, we paid over $ 9. The girls were nice enough, but I did think the tip jar was unnecessary and perhaps even a little offensive. You make your own sundaes and they ring you up. I’m not sure what there is to tip them on, since the customer does most of the work. The place was clean and bright, the selection was good, but unless you’re a big fan of frozen yogurt, I’m not sure it’s worth going to.
