Their sign caught my while walking by and stopped in for a spur of the moment bouquet for my wife. Betsy was nice and helpful and put together a nice small bouquet while I waited with input from me while giving suggestions. I’m not a bouquet connoisseur but price seemed reasonable and checking into Unilocal gave me a surprised 10% off coupon.
The flowers were beautiful and smelled great, and my wife loved them. Betsy pointed out they do use local greenhouse flowers as well. Quick, painless, and friendly experience.

I came into the Flower Kiosk looking for a small inexpensive bouquet for Mother’s Day that included a peony (my mom’s favorite). I stated these requirements to the woman who helped me and set the budget at $ 20. The bouquet she created was beautiful and included a peony, so I was very happy. However, she then went to add up the cost, and it came to $ 30. She offered to remove some of the flowers to bring it back down to $ 20, but I didn’t have time to haggle and once I saw the bouquet I had fallen in love with it. I left the store feeling manipulated. The florist could have easily added the cost as she went and from experience must have known that the bouquet would be more expensive. In summary, the Flower Kiosk has beautiful flowers and talented arrangers, but if budget is a priority, be prepared with the time and confidence to assert your needs.

I ordered flowers for Valentine’s Day, and they never got delivered. I tried calling during the day and got only a fax-​machine beep then, later, a voicemail machine. I left a message and never heard back. Finally got in touch with them at the end of the day and flower arrangement had not even been made up yet.
Messing up on Valentine’s Day order is a pretty big MISS for a florist.

Betsy and her team created the floral arrangements for our wedding at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Mass., and their work was spectacular – they were a joy to work with, they made every part of the process fun and stress-​free, they went above and beyond with their creative execution, and everything was expertly handled, delivered on-​time, and stunning from the start of the ceremony through to the end of the reception. We and all of our guests (and our photographer and the venue itself!) could not get over how absolutely beautiful everything was. Thank you, Flower Kiosk, for creating such a tremendous event for us!

Upon entering the glass doors of the Flower Kiosk, you can’t help but be inspired. Overwhelming amounts of bottles, vases, candles, baskets, and of course flowers are everywhere. The front window displays are always gorgeous and perfectly styled.
But we were here on a mission. Wedding flowers. Two words that scared me from the moment he proposed. Because no matter how beautiful everything else is, flowers can really make or break the vibe of a wedding.
We knew what we didn’t want (overstated, tacky, cheesy, generic), but didn’t have a clear vision until we talked to Betsy. Over the next few months, I collected ideas (and vintage mason jars) and chatted with Betsy over email to make sure we were on the same page. And then a few weeks before the big day, we put everything together for the first time and it was breathtaking. I couldn’t even sleep just waiting for it all to come together.
The first time I saw my bouquet on the morning of my wedding, I almost collapsed. It was prettier than anything I’d ever seen in a magazine. The colors, the shape, the variety of perfectly ripe and blooming petals… it was more than I ever imagined. I went down to the reception venue and the centerpieces were all perfect. Each one was different (as requested) but they felt so cohesive and organic. They really helped bring the whole mood of the day together.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Flower Kiosk to anyone– whether you need the whole wedding set-​up or you just need some flowers for a special person (boyfriends/​husbands, are you listening??). They know what they’re doing here, and you’ll walk out happy.

A small florist, but florists don’t have to be big to be good. We were really looking for greeting cards so I don’t have much of an opinion about the flowers, but since this is the one florist I know of in Portsmouth, it’s probably the one I’m going to think of if I need flowers.
