I’ve been shopping here for a couple of years now. Although she recently changes locations, it’s only a couple blocks down and hasn’t lost its charm. The owner is always nice, never pushy and grateful for your stopping in. Whenever I can’t think of what to get someone, I can always find something here. From fantastic books, to witty tchotchkes you can’t live without, this place has a little of everything. Many local made goods by some of my favorite artists and designers, I am happy to pay her fair price for great products. I’ve also seen her sweet dog in the shop with her often and that makes me happy. If you have a shower, birthday, wedding, mitzvah or any random party to go to and want to impress someone with a rad gift, shop here. Your loved ones will thank you.

I get half my cat décor here! So many good looking things with cats on it! I basically want to own this store. The only thing that would make it better is if they had a store cat living inside!

Really cute place, and great for shopping for locally made gifts. I am a cat lover, so of course I was a big fan of all the kitschy cat stuff. The woman behind the counter was friendly and helpful. The only downside was that I don’t think this is a place you could find something for everyone; the inventory could use a bit more variety. I would recommend varying the jewelry(it kind of all looked the same. Very pretty, but the same) and offering more dudely items. But overall, very fun, very Portland, very many cats.

Great, fun, design-forward and trendy store! A recent visit afforded me a copy of «Honey Badger Don’t Care!» and men’s brief underwear featuring a silhouette of a bicycle and the words: «RIDE» on the reverse. The owner was most friendly and her mascot kept a careful watch out the door. A must for shopping whilst in PDX!

Talk about fun! We parked in front of this shop when we were headed to PaaDee and were drawn in by the bright colors and fun artwork. I swear we spent close to an hour in this small gift shop, and ended up buying a few cute(but unneeded) items. They have a lot of items made by local artists. I ended up with a cute leaf necklace, and a locally-etched pint glass. We also found an adorable robot print. They have a lot of gimmicky stuff(spy-girl shot glasses, love word magnets), a bunch of zombie-themed items which my kid couldn’t get enough of, hats and shirts, owl– and Portland-themed items, and jewelry. ^ ^ (O, O) — - — whoo whoo! I love everything in the store, but it’s all overpriced kitsch that no one really needs, so maybe the service could give them an edge? Not so with the guy behind the counter reading a magazine acting like I was a fly in his wine. I’ve had better experiences in the past, but this was almost enough to turn me off the place for good. I love my Nelson Mandela brand air freshener(«Damn Nelson Mandela, you smell so good.»). As for the cashier, it must be lonely up there on his pedestal.

This place is pretty fun — lots of Portland-y socks, t-shirts, cards, and gift-y stuff in addition to jewelry. The selection changes pretty frequently so it’s easy to stop in every few weeks and find something new.

Love! Lots of local items, fun, funky, beautiful. I wanted every piece of jewlery that they have.

I stopped in ZimZim today for some stationary and was surprised by all the local handmade goods I saw. I was really happy and bought much more than some note cards. Great to see Red Bat Press and Sock It to Me on the shelves. I can’t wait to go back for gift ideas. I got to meet the owner, Carla, a really nice gal — if I had more time, I would have chatted more with her. Great location and very friendly shop — perfect for gifts and gifts for yourself, score on awesome jewelry!
