AVOID! I’ve never written a Unilocal review over petty or poor customer service, but I had to for this situation.
Upon purchasing a home, I was referenced to Carrie for help with a bundled car/​home insurance package that would be cheaper than my current car insurance rate. Carrie told me to send her my information and cancel my current car insurance.
After cancelling my car insurance and emailing Carrie that I was ready to move forward, she failed to respond. Weeks and months passed without her ever following up with me. When I contacted her again wondering what happened, she took a defensive tone, offering a meaningless apology while blaming me for the miscommunication. Interestingly, my email records show that I followed her orders, canceled my previous insurance, and asked her to sign me up with the insurance she mentioned. Also, I was the last person to send an email out. Was I supposed to send the same email over and over?
She is the one who recommended that I drop my previous insurance. She is the one who benefits from me signing up with insurance through her. I am the customer. Why wouldn’t she follow up with me after I emailed her multiple times?
If she at least admitted her mistake and offered to make the situation right, I wouldn’t have been upset. People make mistakes. The fact that she was in the wrong and tried to shift the blame on me is what frustrated me. She tried to get me a new auto insurance plan at a much, much higher rate than what I was previously paying with Geico.
I lost out on time and money and an apology on Unilocal to save face doesn’t change that.

I would recommend Wix Insurance Agency to anyone in need of insurance. I recently purchased my first home and was in need of home owners insurance for the first time. I was totally in the dark as to what I needed and how to get it. Luckily I ended up at Wix. Carrie and the staff were incredibly helpful and informative during the process and have continued to update me regularly. In the end I ended up with the insurance that I needed at a price lower than I expected. Definitely my go-​to insurance place!

This is a local family-​run business that will take care of all your insurance needs. The Wix Agency acts as your broker. My broker was Cari Kieselhorst and she helped me compare different insurance plans through a wide variety of companies. There were a lot of options and I was glad that I was presented with all of them objectively. I didn’t feel like I was being pushed or persuaded into any particular insurance plan. It was fun to comparison shop with someone else that knows the insurance industry. They share their knowledge and empower you to make the best decision for yourself. I left knowing that I was getting the best deal for my auto and home. I have plans to go back and get help with my healthcare coverage for me and my family; because, I know that they can guide me through the complicated changes currently effecting Obamacare. (All of us need a caring insurance agency to help us through this disaster)! The Wix Agency is there to personally help – it’s almost like a boutique insurance agency. And one of the best things about the Wix Agency is that you are never forced to go through an automated telephone tree. There is always a pleasant person to talk when you call to get your needs met and your questions answered.
