Great place. Very nice employees and great selection. They have everything from Bachmann to Athearn. It’s not very big, but it has a LOT of stuff to see. They have a room of «sold as is» stuff for very cheap prices.(The price reflects the quality and condition). They can’t test the sold as is stuff though. It’s just«as is». I bought an HO scale Burlington box car from the as is room and it is in mint condition, and for only 3 dollars! The prices are really good on regular stuff too. You can find a 300 dollar locomotive for 125 dollars. I also bought a signal tower(also HO scale) for $ 13.25(you need glue to put it together but you can buy it there and at a craft store) and it is also in very good condition. Also, you can open the boxes/packages in the as is room so you KNOW what you’re getting.(As said before they can’t test it to see if it runs but you can pretty much tell by how it looks if it will run or not — at least most of the time.) They don’t just have models either! They have books, DVDs, and train sets and calendars. They also carry sets of scenery for layouts(trees, turf, «realistic water» etc.) They carry all scales, by the way(models and scenery). The only downside is that they’re not open on Sundays. This is a great place to go if you’re looking for good quality, friendly staff, and expansive inventory. It’s an awesome first-time or anytime shop for model railroaders. Thanks for reading this review.

I have been here many times with my husband, the ‘train guy’ in the family. I asked him before doing the review what he would rate the store since he knows more about what makes a good train store. He gave it a 4 because they are really helpful and usually have what he is looking for. I like the fact they have a discount closet you can pick thru and find some pretty good deals on anything trains. It isn’t a huge store, but it does have a good selection of trains and accessories.
