I used to love this organization. I am all about non pro fits and even work for one currently. I spent seven years at my last one and it was great. I recently donated my favorite 2008 Silverwing in excellent condition. I didnt have room for two bikes and just wanted it to have a good home and I had no free time to market it myself. I had donated a vehicle to VOA once before so I felt comfortable. I got my receipt in the mail and was shocked and even hurt that they sold it for less than half its fair market value. I reccomend only donating junkers to this organization as clearly they are not competent and capable. Shame on me. I guess I should have just sold it myself.

I donated my car to them and only found a wonderful experience. They do great things here in Portland.

A while back I donated my car to this organization. A year later a collection showed up on my credit report. I inquired at DMV and found out that it was from a ticket on my donated car… after I had donated it. I called VOA and found out they had never received my car. That was a couple of years ago. I hope by now they have found the ‘mole’ within their organization so that it doesn’t happen to someone else.
