Vintalier

I was really impressed with Vintalier’s clothing selection. There were a lot of good pieces and it seemed like the buyer put a lot of effort into picking well made pieces.
The service was also really good. The girl working at the store knew a lot about the pieces, had good recommendations for the neighbourhood, and was not pushy.

We came here for their First Thursday Grand Opening party.
While I devoured the snacks and drank champagne (since I was not planning to actually buy anything due to a shopping budget I’d recently put myself on), my friends shopped. One bought some fantastic sun glasses and another friend bought a beautiful scarf. Wanting in on the fun, I tried on some fabulous sunglasses as well. The only problem was that the frames that looked great on me had glass that was not tinted — which kind of defeated the purpose of sunglasses.
Be careful during the walk in. The wood deck has one inch spaces between the boards — in which your heels can get caught in (at least that’s what happened to mine). That is to no fault of Vintalier (but the building owner). I hopped from one board to the next after that, not wanting to break a pretty heel.
I can appreciate that there is a parking lot on the same block and usually some street parking in front of the building. It’ll cost ya something, but that’s the price you pay (no pun intended) for shopping in the Pearl.
