I made an appointment for a consultation. There are a lot of services I am interested in. I expected to go in, meet with a consultant who would know about the different services, be able to look at me and my concerns, and tell me which ones would be appropriate given my specific concerns. Instead i got a salesperson. Her name was Bonnie. She is the nicest person EVER. I would love Togo have coffee with Bonnie sometime, as a GIRLFRIEND. She had no idea which treatments would be appropriate for my concerns or how many treatments it would take!!! Whuuu? She told me I should buy the package of 3 or 5 laser treatments, then the estheticians would decide what I needed. Whuuuu!!! Why would I buy anything(in the $ 1500-$ 2200 range) before someone who does the treatments tells me what I need? What a weird system!

I’ve been a customer since 2004 and every time I go there, it’s something else. A new release, a different price, a fight over them wanting another photo, again and again and again. It’s like Groundhog Day — the paperwork and upsells just never end. I guess if I felt that in any way this was doing ME any good, I’d feel differently, but it’s always about something THEY need for THEIR records, to protect their legal rights. *It’s stressful, never knowing what their next point of pressure will be. *I leave feeling cheap, when I’ve spent thousands of dollars. *They treat me like I’m ugly, when I’m doing something to improve myself. *They treat me like I’m stupid when I ask questions. *They accuse me of being argumentative when I tell them what I want. *They bully and gang up on me when I stick up for myself. I’m done. I’m leaving about $ 900 of treatments there and I don’t care. It’s worth it to never go back. Do something REALLY good for yourself and go somewhere else.

I went for a Botox treatment with Dr. Bob on 10/30/2014. He came into the room dressed as a vampire complete with red contacts & fangs. When he spent two seconds discussing my treatment I questioned whether he had the right chart for me since I did not recall being treated in the area previously. He told me he was the«alpha dog» and proceeded with the treatment and pushed me out of the room while my forehead & eye area was still bleeding. Almost two weeks later I have a large uneven lump along my brow line & one of my eyes is noticeably drooping. I’m afraid to go back since he was so rude and unprofessional. And i don’t want to make it worse

Don’t make the mistake of spending your money here. Nice décor, clean rooms. They don’t stand behind claims. Spent a bundle on the cool sculpt and after 6 months have seen no noticeable results. Never even met the Dr. After 5+ visits. Have never felt this dissatisfied with a treatment before. After discussing it with my stylist I discover she has at least 3 other clients who have been unhappy with this spa. There are other spas where you can get the Dr. Or a N.P. To do your treatment. Do your homework!

No, don’t waste your money here. I’ve spent $ 6,000 on Artefill, which is supposed to last, um… for a long time? But I noticed«deflation» in 6 months. There is a part of me that thinks they are not using the brand they are marketing. Of’course I have no proof because I am too frightened to see the needles. Also, the Doctor who injects these fillers don’t really analyze your face. Just comes in, and starts injecting. I felt like I was just a product on a conveyor belt, and the Doc was a factory worker trained to screw on a bolt. I’m never returning.

Dr. V is great. But the office staff/her scheduler are rude and incompetent. Took the gal three try’s to spell my name. Then told me dr. Is out on leave and couldn’t give me a straight answer when I could schedule an appointment. Too difficult to deal with– ill take my $ 750 every three mo. For Botox and go somewhere else. There’s plenty of other places to choose from.

The Vanderveer Center is very sub standard. Went there for simple Botox and filler and received many bruises and lips that are lumpy bumpy and just downright disgusting. In my initial consultation was told that all fillers are the same price and that Dr. Vanderveer set that policy. That is simply not true. The night before my procedure there was a special posted on their Facebook that offered a special on fillers. Upon my appointment the next day, I was not offered that promotion. I had my Botox and filler in lip area for wrinkles with no talk about a special. When I emailed my initial consultant about my concern about not being offered the special, her response in email form to me said«I think that special was posted after your visit». That was absolutely not true, I had a Tuesday 4:00 appt. I was also told they would offer me some sort off compensation due to my doctor was«in training» this was also sent to me in email form. In training really are you serious. I was never told that before my appt. The doctor was in training??? I have received Botox from a doctor for over 4 years and shame in me for switching to Vanderveer. I will never go back there and will make sure everyone I know will not go to Vanderveer. That center is a joke and could care less about customer satisfaction. Shame one Vanderveer Center just poor quality service and lack of follow up is just downright shameful.

I have recieved nothing but exceptional service from the Vanderveer Center. The staff are attentive and interested in you as a person. The facial products are wonderful and have improved my skin. The ambience is relaxing and condusive to any procedure you might desire. They frequesntly run specials so be sure the sign up on their website so you receive their newsletter.

Okay, I stumbled on this review and joined Unilocal just thinking I «should» let Laura know she is not the only one who spent beaucoup $$ for pretty much nothing. Did the Vanderveer lift, which is basically a series of I2PL treatments and collagen«infusion» with the promise of tightened skin«similar» to getting a face lift with the added benefit of improved skin and minimization of discoloration. DID get improvement on look of sun damaged skin on chest but no «lift» on face or neck. Despite REPEATED requests, never got my «before & after pics, probably because there would be evidence that it did not work. Also Did Botox and had a droopy eye for weeks(to be fair, it happened at another plastic surgery mill» called Aesthetic Medicine). As many times as I was there, I never saw the Dr V, though saw her plenty on TV. She is a good marketer but… and I agree, she may do more biz if she did not show her face\body on TV so much.
