We’re wine novices… Called in last minute to redeem a Groupon and they still squeezed us in. The Service was really wonderful. Great wine flight selection, glasses were generous for a tasting and they were also very willing to teach us a thing a two about wine.

Went in for a tasting — they were doing their vineyard and Italian wines. We got one of each, so were able to try 10 wines. It also came with a little tray of cheese, crackers, nuts, and cranberries (which went really nicely with the cheese). They have a large selection of wines to choose from. It was a nice little tasting room, so if you’re in the area I’d recommend stopping in.

Went in on a Monday., beautiful sunny day in Oregon., here on vacation from Los Angeles… loved it! John was very friendly and knowledgeable! Did the wine, cheese & crackers pairing & it was delicious! I’d definitely recommend it & come here again!

Trying a flight of Spanish wines. Went here with my next door neighbor. Yummy wine! The pours were generous and they also give you a board with some cheeses and nuts. Been wanting to check this place out. Glad I did. It was nice to taste some wines and not drive out to the wineries, although I love doing that too.

The wine flights come with a small cheese plate? What? Yes, it’s true, and it is fantastic. A small detail like that adds so much to the experience. I wish other wineries and wine bars would take notice.
The $ 15 flight plus snack was a wonderful deal. I was able to try a healthy taste of 5 very different wines from around the world.

Great place to stop by before going into Acadia. Get the wine flight for $ 15…comes with a plate of cheese, nuts, raisins, and crackers. The wine selection is local. I always do stop by here every year. G Approved!
Oh and the restroom is super clean!

My wife and I found this place through a Groupon Deal they had for a Wine Pairing class. After going that night, I had signed up for their email list. I’m am so glad I did.
They do a weekly special for a cheese plate and tasting of five different wines for $ 15! We went on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed wine from their vineyard and played cards at their single outside table.
The owner even brought our dog a dish for water. He is a great guy who really seems to enjoy his job. I really have enjoyed talking with him about wine and the growing process for grapes.
Though we went with a group of people for the wine pairing, we all sat at the bar-​type seating and it was difficult to hold conversation with more than just the people around you. But it is a great place just for a couple of people.

Last week, the featured wines were from Spain. Since our area of Oregon is a Pinot Noir Mecca, which is not really my favorite, I jumped at the chance to try some Spanish wines. This wine tasting affair was cleverly named the «Spanish Inhibition» under Unilocal events.
I was over the moon for the first wine, a Vega Montan 2008 Bierzo Mencia, and ended up bringing a bottle home with me for a mere $ 11.00. This wine is smooth, full and very easy to drink. Not as dry as some of the wines that followed. I happen to appreciate the dryer wines as well but my pal Jenni-​Pants T., her sensitive little palette wasn’t as enthusiastic about the dryer wines.
Urban Wine Works boutique and tasting room is set up as a bar with stools but also has a cozy little back room with tables if you are looking for a more clandestine environment for your wine tasting pleasure. I am particularly interested in French wines and will be on the lookout for what Reuel has up his sleeve.
Maybe he can call the French wine tasting event «Let them Drink Wine!»

Awesome place. Their flagship wine comes from their own winery and vineyard, Bishop Creek Cellars. They have a large selection of other wines from various parts of the world that match most palest, wallets, and occasions.
There knowledge of wine and wine making is absent of snobbery and they make you feel quite comfortable. I live in NW Portland, but I’m willing to make the trek to NE for the selection, atmosphere and company.

One of my favorite places to hang out. I love the staff — they are knowledgeable and lovely. In addition to being the outlet for Bishop Creek Wines, UWW has a themed flight each week, and I go back almost every week to try it. (The pours are quite good!) You can also buy a bottle from their very good selection or enjoy a full glass with some yummy bites. Often there’s live guitar music on Thursday nights.
