The staff is so friendly and helpful. I have never experienced customer service like I have in this Urban. Everyone was so eager and willing to help me find what I was looking for. I will be definitely be back.

Remember that time you went on vacation in fourth grade where you passed through Niagara Falls? You were sleeping when mom yelled, «look at the lights!» And you groggily opened your eyes to see some strange colors bouncing off water at night. «That’s cool», you yawn and go back to sleep. Fast forward a week, and you’re back in school and get to brag to all of your friends about how cool Niagara Falls was and the colors and how you basically TOUCHED the water and you were going to go over in a barrel if mom hasn’t said no. Yeah, that’s how I feel about this Urban Outfitters. Honestly, it has to be one of the coolest locations for a clothing store in the Old Port(a ancient bank? With a big vault? So cool!), but you know what? It stops there for me. I don’t buy from UO, and honestly, I brag about it to my out of state friends. I always Niagara Falls it and darken the doorway for about two minutes before I leave and desire gelato(or an ethically constructed T-shirt?) but then reminisce about it later. Some things are better in your head. This UO is one of them. Nice enough staff, and it’s a good place to try something on, and then go buy it online somewhere else for half the price. I guess we all have our Niagaras, and if the Old Port is going go have one, this isn’t a bad pick. Location is the best thing. Staff are nice enough. Prices are often expensive for low quality. This is the fast fashion cycle!

The selection of clothing and shoes are not the best at this Urban, but this location is definitely the most beautiful one that I’ve seen. The ceilings are high, giving the store a super open feel. The workers are very friendly, along with the rest of Portland, which was refreshing, traveling from NYC.

I agree with Ip that Urban is evil. Especially since the CEO gives to Santorum. However, stop in here to check out the restoration they did on the original bank that this locale was. The sale section is housed in the original vault of the bank. Many of the original features of the bank remain. It’s pretty cool. So just go in poke around look at the architecture and then head down to market street to buy jewelry and crafts from real artists!
