U Can Do It Dog Wash & Grooming

«This is my favorite place to wash my dog ‘s the owner is great. She makes it so easy to wash your dog there. They have every thing you need. Shampoo, conditioner, stuff to clean yours dogs ears and towels. I look forward To bathing my dogs there.

The owner, Sue, was so kind to fit my puppy in at the end of a long day, as my regular groomer became ill and the pup needed to look fancy for my Christmas party this weekend. Dee was the one who groomed him and she took so much time and love to do it at his pace, taking breaks, rewarding his good behavior, etc. It took a very long time (2 hours) for a bath, paw/​face/​sanitary trim, but it was worth the wait because when I arrived to pick him up, Dee was down on the floor with him, gently trimming his precious little face. It warmed my heart as a puppy mama. Four stars simply because the grooming wasn’t «perfect» but good enough for my wiggly little chocolate goldendoodle! Thank you, Dee and Sue! :)

We love the groomer here. She is so wonderful with our dogs. We have a German Sheppard and a Black Lab and they look great after being groomed.

I bring Olive, the Labradoodle, here all the time. I know its called ‘U Can Do It”, but aside from drop her off I don’t do anything. Three hours later when I come to pick her up its all been done for me. She has been cut, ears plucked, body, nails and vajay-​jay are cleaned, The prices are right, the service is great, Olive always comes home happy and looking and smelling great. The shop is very clean and the folks that work there are helpful and very friendly, what more could I or Olive ask for, we will be back.

I’ve never needed a dog self wash place in the past. We’ve recently moved to Portland and it’s too cold for an outside bath for my 11 year old lab.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. I was given an overview if all supplies available. And even helped to blow dry my skiddish dog.
The store was clean and well maintained. I highly recommend it

After coming here about 4 times now I can safely say I have finally found our groomer (s)! I LOVE taking Tilde to U Can Do It Dog Wash and Grooming. It feels so good to find a place that can actually groom my Doodle! The whole entire staff is simply amazing!!! This is the place to go if your truly want to be treated well!

Bottom line… mistakes happen. Own up to it! And, please don’t act like our business really doesn’t mean anything to you.
My husband and I were originally so excited about this place. It is close to our house and we would have given 5 stars for our first experience. However, after our second time taking our dog to get groomed, 0 stars are appropriate. The owner charged us full price even after my husband expressed his concerns and dissatisfaction upon picking up our dog. I even called in an attempt to speak with someone. My first attempt, the owner answered and told me that she had a dog in her hands and then abruptly hung up the phone. My second attempt, the actual groomer answered and, instead of admitting she made a mistake, she blamed it on our dogs hair. We’ve been around the block with finding a new groomer; mostly because of relocating and parenting so many dogs over the years. We’ve never had a groomer tell us our dog’s hair is the reason why the trim was uneven, blotchy, and completely not what we asked for. With this specific dog, none of our previous groomers have ever had an issue. In fact, they have always given us praise about how awesome she is. So now, after all these years, it’s 100% our dogs fault… Bad dog!

4 (maybe 5) very large stainless steel dog wash tubs and 3 stations for grooming. I only take my dogs here for the self-​wash and it’s so easy here! The facility is always warm, clean and i love all the tools and brushes you’re allowed to use. The ample shampoo, towels, and blow dryers make it so easy to get in an out with your doggies clean, fluffy and dry.
I think it’s a bit pricier than other neighborhood self-​wash places, but it’s worth the money.

I love this place even after months of rotating staff. My schnauzers have never gotten anything but the best of care and consideration from these groomers.

My bulldog is a pain when it comes to nail clipping. I finally gave up and took her here today. I read the sjgn that says «please relieve dogs outside» so I took my bully on one more courtesy walk to pee. Took my dog inside, and when she saw the clippers she nervously piddled on the floor. The lady was super nice about it! Grabbed a towel, cleaned it up, and helped me get my bully up on the table. I held the dog, she clipped the nails. She babied my bully through the whole process even when my pup was being a big ol’ baby and whining like no other. The lady just laughed and carried on. She even helped me get my dog off the table. (My bulldog hates stairs. And jumping up. She won’t even get in the car by herself anymore. And no she’s not fat. She’s fit and very capable. Just a pampered brat.) $ 6 is very reasonable for nail clipping. The lady asked my name, my dog’s name and was giving out compliments like candy. Loved it. I will be back for good baths, nail clippings, and the awful anal excretions.

The girls there are very nice, and my Fifi came out looking clean & shiny. The price was right too! The one thing about the shop that I wasn’t a fan of, the do-​it-​yourself section is mixed right in with the rest of the working area and front door, one big open space. so you’re greeted with wet dog smell and lots of dog hair the second you open the door. Now, I’m an animal person, used to pet hair. but it seems the business could use a revamp on set-​up, to separate the messy smelly area from the front door and grooming area.

Went in today and had a great experience with the ladies there.
I really liked how helpful they were and calming to my scared pup.

I needed to get my dog’s nails trimmed for the first time in her 4 year life. The groomer was very patient and calming and the amenities looked very up to par for self grooming. The cost is low, the staff is accommodating (even when my dog ran amok while wet and soapy).

I have washed my dog at this place at least 6 times in the last 2 years. Today was the last time I will ever use them. Their website clearly states «Last U-​Wash 30 minutes before closing! EXCEPT TUESDAY & THURSDAY, if you are here by 6pm you can wash your dog!
This is actually not TRUE! I was there at 5:45pm on a Tuesday and they turned me away, the owner didn’t even know what her website was advertising, employee knew the website stated this but only said «yeah, that’s wrong, someone needs to change it»
You would think that a small woman-​owned business would be more concerned about keeping their customers. I will tell every dog owner I know about this poor customer service.

Took my dog into U Can Do It Dog Wash this weekend to get my dog groomed and was met by the helpful staff who were honest about what they could do and what to expect. We were blown away by the professional yet caring way they took care of my dog and the great job they did on the grooming. The prices are VERY good and we will be taking our dog back again.
Also would recommend making grooming reservations by phone as well.

These folks are the best!
I took my recently adopted rescue dog for his first grooming. He is extremely skittish about being handled, and I was very concerned if I could have anyone bathe and groom him.
The wonderful people at this dog grooming shop were extremely sensitive in working with him to calm him down and get him to accept what must have been an incredibly frightening first experience for him. They used lots of patience and positive motivation to get him looking and smelling great.
Run, don’t walk, to hire these folks to take care of your dog. They are incredible!

I go to this groomer because of cost, friendly and fast service.
I’ve used several groomers in the past and this one is by far my favorite.
