Besides participating in Unilocal Talk, Trolls live under bridges(see ). On MacNamee Road, underneath the old wood-piles railroad trestle, people have ‘affixed’ troll dolls to the boards and painted some others(very well done art), forming a colony of Trolls on the boards(see pics). How were they ‘affixed’? From a city that has VooDoo Donuts, I guess that explains some dolls with a stake(nail) through them. The bridge is made from the old round creosote wood pilings. There is plenty of room to put troll dolls on other structures, but the panel seems to be the only gathering spot. Perhaps they like basketball and like to hit the boards(their team: Portland Troll Blazers). Rumor has it that if you look too long and miss the sharp curve just ahead, the trolls will dance and cheer. (note: the mapping does not handle the address right. It is located 15 minutes northwest of Portland off Hwy 30. Use Google Maps and look for the railroad running parallel near 30.)
