Triangle Productions – Sanctuary Theatre

The venue is cute in a grass-​roots, art house way. There are intricate costumes placed on vintage mannequins throughout the lobby area and interesting photos that relay the history of the place.
The seating area consists of church-​like pews, padded and numbered to allow for ample space per patron, none of the cramped ick you sometimes see in neighborhood theatres.
The players did a commendable job, without a doubt applause-​worthy. The show we saw was advertised as burlesque, which was more than a little misleading. It wasn’t burlesque by any stretch of the imagination.
You can get beer, wine, water, and light snacks, but I suggest you avoid the wine being peddled by severely tanned gentleman in the lobby. We both had a glass of the Merlot and ended up with horrible headaches almost immediately.

I have seen 2 shows now at Triangle productions, and let me just say I will be going back for more. Both shows I have been to have blown my mind, one where I was laughing, and the other almost brought me to tears.
Don the owner of triangle one of the sweetest person, I have ever met, and brings life to this theater with his upbeat attitude and sassy manner.
If you are ever in the mood for some good theater you gotta check these guys out they know how to put on a show!

Last year, after just one play, we bought season tickets for this year, something we have never done before. The last play for the season, Ari-​Maria (playing now), was one of the best plays, if not the best, we have ever seen in over 40 years of Portland theater. The caliber of plays this season led us to buy season tickets for next year.
If you have not been there, it is a must. You will be made to feel like you are ‘one of the family’ from the minute you step in the door, and that will continue every time you return. Comfortable seating, a great view from anywhere in the theater, and affordable ticket prices — theater can’t get any better than this!

Excellent venue for a play. We sat in padded church pews in a cozy sized room. Able to see and hear the actors perfectly. We were greeted & treated like family by the staff. The women’s room was clean with a comfortable sitting room. The snacks & drinks were reasonably priced. We found parking close to the entrance with handicap access.
The play «In the next room» was preformed by amazing actors. We were laughing until tears came. Unfortunately it was their last performance, or we would have returned with all our friends to see it again!
We plan to go to Triangle Production plays in the future.

Holy cow, can these guys put on a show!
