This place is sensational. It’s everything I’ve ever dreamed of for a coffee shop… an airy, light-​filled top deck of the bus filled with delightful furniture, little adorable rings for sale, and one of the best cups of coffee I’ve had in Portland. This bus is a dream, the only thing that could possibly make it better is if I could live here.

So we’re visiting Portland and stumble across this FANTASTIC coffee in a double decker bus! Not only are we treated well but our three year old has hot chocolate made to a temperature he can drink right away. This kind of special attention means a great deal, especially when traveling. Thanks!!!

Wow, where do you start with this place. Hard to stand out in the Portland coffee world, but Tov does it. While the regular coffee and espresso drinks are excellent, what sets this place a part are the unique drinks like the Salep and the Mint Thing. Seriously, try the mint cold brew or a hot latte and you won’t regret it.
All of this, and I didn’t even mentions how cool the double decker bus is! This is a must stop for tourists and locals alike.

Fabulous coffee, enjoyed an iced soy latte and an iced white mocha with milk ice cubes! Cute double decker bus and the own was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem.

Simply amazing. I ordered a regular coffee… visiting Portland, coffee capital, I didn’t think it would be a good idea to get coffee doctored up with a bunch of things so I just got it in its purist form. My love on the other hand, got a vanilla latte. We also got a baklava that apparently the owner’s mom makes.
Well, my coffee was great. The vanilla latte was AMAZING. You know those garbage lattes you get at S-​bucks? Blows it out of the water and like I mentioned, total garbage in comparison to this one. I think what put it over the top was the real vanilla beans he put in it. There is simply no comparison of artificial vanilla syrup to real vanilla beans.
And that baklava? Get OUTTA here. Outrageously good. Best baklava I’ve ever tasted in my life, hands down. It just had that homemade goodness to it too. Something you can’t just pick up anywhere. It was buttery, sweet, and flaky. I’ll probably be waking up dreaming of these things for the next few months…
Oh yeah, and the setup is epic! Drink your coffee upstairs. Coolest thing ever. This will probably go down as one the best coffee experiences I’ve ever had. Everything else was so ordinary in comparison.

Tov is a fun experience and has superb coffee. This cute converted double-​decker bus offers traditional coffee beverages, but the main attractions are the specialty beverages.
While there, I tried both the Turkish coffee and Turkish tea. Turkish coffee is quite different from ordinary espresso — it is rich with cardamom, and leaves a thick residue of spices in the bottom.
The service and presentation were as superb as the full flavors: the owner-​barista was very friendly (and included a Turkish delight with the coffee), and the ornate teapot, tray, and cups rounded out a superb experience.

I was craving coffee and had this place bookmarked so decided to try this place as it had all 5* reviews. I must say it didn’t dissapoint. Coffee was good and more so my toddler was impressed with double decker red bus. I am going to visit this place to try their tea.
Barista is the owner as well. He was warm and friendly. I wish I could have got some fresh baked goodies or savory snacks here. On a sunny day its awesome to sit on the upper deck, get some sunshine and gaze the view around. I will be visiting again to get coffee, nut tea and to enjoy the bus ambiance. Its a chilled out place and can be enjoyed more when in a group.

Was super excited to finally try this place but it wasn’t what I expected. Ordered an espresso, sahlep, and cold brew that I shared with my boyfriend. Everything was tasteful but I swear it didn’t have any caffeine effects which was a major disappointment :(
Coffee without caffeine? No thanks, I can get more caffeinated from green tea at home.

A wonderful hidden gem of a coffee shop disguised as a double decker bus. There is a lot of variety and the flavors are truly ethnic and different from your typical coffee place. The cortado is creamy bold and flavorful, the Turkish coffee true to form and there’s a variety of home made non-​coffee drinks that are truly authentic. If you want to have the quintessential Portland experience, you have to come to Tov for drinks and Fried egg I’m in love for their sandwiches on a Saturday/​Sunday morning. You won’t regret it.

My first time here. We were referred by the egg cart as a dry spot to sit.
Ordered two mint things and was told it wasn’t quite ready yet. But could be. So we waited about 20 – 30 min (Sunday morning, no plans, no rush) for the drinks. After 10 – 15, the barista let us know it was «mediocre» but if we waited it could be excellent. Food wasn’t ready yet either.
Upstairs was a bit drafty but he changed the propane tank and fired up the heat. There was also a space heater I used. It was comfortable bright and dry.
When our coffee finally arrived, it was awesome. Minty and creamed, with ice and frozen coffee ice cubes.
My only tip would be don’t go if you’re in a hurry. It’s a chill place to hang out but it’s not Starbucks turnaround time. If I went back in the winter, I really might bring my own blanket. It’s a loungey type place to hang out and be lazy.

This is one cool double decker bus Café. We were recommended coming here by fried egg I am loving it which is just in the food cart outside. We were amazed by the looks of it at first. When we walked in the menu was really interesting. They have Turkish coffee and tea. I ordered the Chai Tea and my friends ordered the salep, the Turkish coffee and Turkish tea. The Turkish tea tastes like black tea. The salep was really good. I loved the chai. They have two kinds but I picked the one with the most spice in it. The one with the ginger kick. I love it. It’s actually really good and I highly recommend it.
Apparently the bus still works according to the owner.
Definitely will come back!

Opening up a coffee shop in Portland is nothing new, even if it’s super good coffee. TōV is an awesome, red, double-​decker coffee bus. That’s something new and interesting. Also, if Portland’s typical, super-​light roast coffee, this is a pleasant surprise. TōV uses a darker roast for their espresso, which is a nice change from the weak-​sauce tasking Capps and Cortados we’re all used to. The machines are also purple, and I mean how sweet is that?

The coffee was delicious (our first time trying Turkish coffee) it was definitely stronger than a regular American coffee. It’s like an espresso but with unfiltered grounds of coffee. I really liked it since it didn’t have a bitter/​burnt taste to it even without sugar. You can literally taste and smell the amazing spices this coffee has… I need to learn how to make Turkish coffee. Lol Plus, great customer service

The best mocha I’ve ever had & was the owner’s suggestion. The ambiance is great — is a fun place to take someone from out of town or catch up with a friend. Pastries are great too. You’ll get amazing service as the owner is usually always there. Even on a rainy day you’ll be warm inside this bus/​café.

The owner was here when I stopped in, and made a fresh pot of coffee because he thought the current one was getting old. He also offered me a free Egyptian pastry made by his brother, which I though especially hospitable. The bus itself is very cool! A great place to drink a cup of coffee while enjoying the outdoors without getting soaked.

Man, oh man. THIS PLACE IS HEAVEN.
As soon as I stepped on to this beautiful double-​decked bus, I fell in love. From the undeniable elegance, to the unwavering happiness and commitment that was obvious in the man responsible for serving me the best cup of hot chocolate I’ve ever experienced in my life, I was endlessly impressed.
I mean, this god-​sent man melted pieces of chocolate down for my coco and it left traditional powder coco in the dust. I am so happy to have found this gorgeous, rich, full of life little place! I promise you will never be disappointed by this man and his business!
Also, there are these beautiful, hand-​made, leather pouches/​wallet type things that his brother (i believe) makes. Such beautiful works of art!

I CAN NOT say enough amazing things about this place. I’ve been here twice and both have been out of this world. I highly urge all to drink their orders «for here» as part of the experience. Beautiful teacup sets and, wow, treat yourself to a turkish tea. The staff is friendly and knowledgable about their spices and coffee techniques, too. See you next weekend, Tov!

This is a very unusual and cool place to get fancy coffee :-) the owner offered me some hibiscus tea while my husband’s Arabic coffee with being made. That was a nice touch. It’s really beautiful inside.

I LOVE Tov! They are right around the corner from my house, the staff are all super friendly, and they are literally the only place that has ever gotten unsweetened hemp milk just because I requested it. Most places look at me like I’m crazy and try to convince me that «original» = unsweetened (no).
If you want some of the best coffee in Portland, go to Tov!

Tōv is the cutest one-​man double-​decker bus coffee shop.
This is a far cry from your average Starbucks. The quality of the drinks is incredible, as the owner puts so much time and care into every cup. You also have to appreciate how much work he’s doing, all on his own. Drinks may not come out in under 90 seconds like an assembly-​line chain coffee shop, but his beverages are well worth the wait.

I have drunk a LOT of coffee in my life. Tov is in my top three of all time. To give you an idea of the craftsmanship, my dark chocolate iced mocha was made with real chunks of melted European chocolate and… wait for it… MILK ICE CUBES. Yes that’s right. MILK ICE CUBES. *mind blown* the coffee is roasted by local Seattle roasters «Vivace» and is dark and delicious. The café is a red double-​decker British tour bus with the café down below and the seating up top. This has become my Portland happy place. Joe, the owner, is an exceptional guy and always on site to make sure the QC is correct and to provide friendly, intelligent conversation with the customers. Surrounding gourmet food carts can provide a meal that can be enjoyed from atop the bus as well. I have been here three times and I will return here every time I am in Portland.

Joe is an amazing guy. The way he handles the coffee beans, with so much passion and knowledge, makes me feel in a holy ground, where coffee is the entity worshiped, AS IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE, since coffee is the essence of life in this little planet of ours.
His coffee is just one of the best in town (try the white and dark mocha) and on top of all of it (no pun intended) you will be having your beverage on top of a doubledeck british-style-bus…only in Portland!
Trust me when I say you can’t go wrong with that!

Excellent coffee and tea in an open top double decker Red bus. This is a great addition to the list of good places to drink tea or coffee in Portland. They always come up with new ideas that I enjoy.
Very interesting drinks and the barista was very welcoming and ready to accommodate for our tastes. I got the Sahlep, which is basically a milk based drink with flavors of nuts. It can be a little light tasting for someone looking for a coffee type strong taste, but worked well for me. My fiends had the Winey Mocha and Turkish tea. The Winey mocha, as the name suggests, is an awesome drink in itself. It has just the right taste of wine, coffee and chocolate. The Turkish tea was served in a very ornate glass and the barista tried to infuse some mint taste to it on special request. I liked all the drinks we all ordered.
Go on, try a new drink in a red double decker bus with an open top. Live a little.

I got the Mint Thing and it was excellent. Make time to sit on the rooftop deck for some good people watching along Hawthorne.

Such a cool place to hangout!!. I don’t thing there’s any place similar. It’s an old tour bus. And you get to take your coffee up to the top floor. It’s sweet. The owner is really nice and knows his stuff. He really does want to succeed and serve the best coffee. I will be back there. I had their chai which was great.

This one is hard to miss. a giant red double decker bus right behind the awesome Carte Blanche. Its a egyptian coffee shop with lots of middle eastern varieties. I got the sahlep which is a frothy milk concoction with nutty aftertaste. very refreshing.
The top deck is open area for sitting. extra cool. enjoy your beverage and food with a view (an extra star for that inventiveness)…owners are very friendly. go check them out if you’re on Hawthorne on the eastside.

Portland residents ought to be very glad to count Tov as being among us. It is a café located within a double decker bus, in which customers can enjoy the offerings of this establishment on both floors. Tov has a theme involving the country of Turkey, offering both coffee and tea alike in that country’s style. The bus nears lots of other vehicles serving food.
The outside made the place look like a standard neighborhood place to get coffee. Looks can very much be deceiving. I went in and ordered the standard Turkish tea. My order was fulfilled within about five minutes, a little long, but the price was only $ 1.50. The proprieters responded affirmatively to my requests for pictures of me and my meal, and for a bit of milk to cool the tea down in due time.
The tea was positively delicious. It had a great flavor and was a pleasure to down. The little bit of milk and sugar managed to provide a sweet addition, but the distinct flavor was also brought out in impressive quantity. It was a thoughtful, pleasant experience.
