I’ll start with what I really liked about Timeless Tattoo! A friend I both went in for besties tattoos. He had references on our phones. Diamond did both of our tattoos, and he was fun to banter with and talk art supplies with, although at times he made me a little uncomfortable with his vocabulary and such, but having gotten plenty of tattoos and going to plenty of tattoo shops in the past I got over that very easily. It was also a very clean shop… not only was it uncluttered, but he met every sanitation requirement, and I appreciated that more than anything else. I’ve had friends who have had infected tattoos and I NEVER want to experience that. Now it’s been almost 6 months since I’ve gotten my tattoo(on my ankle) the healing was very, weird. I’ve had tattoos, but never has one stayed scabbed up and raised for SOLONG. I followed his care instructions to a T and my ink still seemed faded and almost like it was chipped paint. I’ve NEVER seen any of mine or my friends tattoos heal like that before. My friend whom I went with had the same experience(and she’s even more out of luck because she lives out of town and can’t go get a touch up whenever). I also take issue with how he reacted to my… less then spectacular pain tolerance. I’m getting a tattoo and I realize that ESPECIALLY on my ankle it’s gonna hurt like crazy. I’m not complaining that it hurt at all, but he talked to me like I was being a pansy the whole time. It was frustrating beyond belief being treated like that! I had originally called the shop looking for Brynn and when I made an appointment, the fact was omitted that she no longer worked there. Since it was a simple tattoo and we were supplying the art work I wasn’t too worried about having another person do it, but I was irritated that they waited until it was too late for my friend and I to make an appointment elsewhere(AKA the day before she left town back for home and the day OF our appointment) to tell us she was no longer there. I would never go back to get custom artwork. Kudos to a clean shop, but my over all experience was frustrating and upsetting, and the fact that I had to get a touch up as soon as my simple tattoo healed(it was just script across my ankle in solid black) was ridiculous! I’ll be finding another artist to add to my ankle tattoo and to touch it up.

Timeless has a great atmosphere and is very clean. Becca’s work is amazing, she took my vision and made it a wonderful work of art. She made me feel very comfortable and like a regular. I have every intention of having my work done by her going forward.

I have been wanting a tattoo for a while now and have been planning two over the past few months. One simple and one more extensive. I Was in the Portland area for a few days on vacation with a couple of co workers and the topic of getting tattoos came up. On a whim we all three decided to get a tattoo because why not… Not to mention that it was long overdue. We went on Unilocal and looked around but the options seemed scarce as most of the shops in the area were closed(6pm) as it was Sunday. We stumbled upon timeless tattoo and I was impressed with the quality of the work online so we decided to call. I actually I had my coworker call because I was nervous. So anyways we called and asked something somewhat demanding – if the studio could accommodate 3 simple tattoos last minute. We got a yes. We called for a cab and were in the studio 15 minutes later. The artist was very accommodating and strait up was a bad ass dude. Super friendly. It was my first tattoo and I was nervous but the artist chatted with me during the process which made me feel comfortable and feel at ease. While my tattoo only took 20 minutes i enjoyed the experience. Next time I am in Portland and looking for a tattoo, I will be back.

I came here for my first tattoo and am planning to return for several pieces after this. Dymond and Brynn pride themselves on having a comfortable, sanitary studio. Their art styles are very different, but both are excellent in quality. My tattoo healed perfectly thanks to the aftercare instructions provided for me. Such a special experience.

My friend and I scheduled a consultation with Brynn after seeing her portfolio online. I came in armed with a picture of Link from the Legend of Zelda. I was confident in Brynn’s work that she could pull off the job, but I didn’t know that she is also a huge LOZ geek! She gave me an AMAZING tattoo and a great price for it. Plus she sang Journey(amongst other things) while she worked. :) My tattoo is seriously beautiful. I’ll definitely be going back to her for my next tattoo(probably some Zelda hearts!). Here is a picture of my tattoo(it looks even better in person!) Thanks, Brynn!

I’ve been looking into getting my first tattoo for about a year now. I researched places around Portland and looked into Lady Luck because I always drive by it on my way to work. I noticed that lately they started to get bad reviews because two artists left to open their own place — Timeless Tattoo. Everyone seemed so upset about these two leaving that it seemed stupid to not look into Timeless. Perfect reviews across the board. I drove over on Friday, scared to death about putting something permanent on my body. When I walked in, Dymond was at the front desk. He talked over my tattoo with me made some suggestions about size and modifying the placement of what I orginially wanted. He was EXTREMELY patient with me, even after I had decided about four times that I no longer wanted to do it. When I eventually decided to go through with it, I took his suggestions and he made me feel at ease. Long review short, I’m so happy I listened to the bad reviews at Lady Luck and went to Timeless. Dymond was amazing, patient and funny as hell. I am in love with my tattoo/placement and if I ever get another one I will for sure go back to Timeless Tattoo.
