Therapia Acupuncture Wellness Clinic

I’m rating this office solely on the phone interaction. I got a call telling me that my deductible from my insurance hadn’t been met so I would have to pay the full amount for my visit. I’m not sure what website this office gets their info from but the facts she had were FAR off of what actually was met with my insurance carrier. Yet, when I log in I see that I’ve met my entire deductible and out of pocket max. And the therapist on the phone was rude and snotty about it… that’s why another company got my business… and guess what they charged me as I should’ve been… a co-​insurance of 20%…go some place else!

I think this is a wonderful clinic. I was suggested by my children’s pediatrican office, after an auto accident my children and I were in. Everyone here is kind and attentive and knows what they are doing. I had tried other acupuncture places in the past, it is night and day with the acupuncture you get here. Dr. Jenna is very good with my daughters and myself. I have spinal issues already, she is careful and educated with her adjustments for me. Massage here is not only a great experience but the lasting effects carry on many days or weeks after.

I have been visiting Therapia for several months now and between acupuncture, massage and chiropractic treatments my batterd body is moving in ways it has not in years

I was not a believer in Acupuncture until a back injury caused by running full speed from the top of larch mountain to the bottom of Multnomah Falls.
After that doctors were saying I was going to have life long back problems and my days of running were over. I’m so glad that a friend recommended acupuncture. After one session my lower back pain had subsided and after 3 it was gone never to return again. That was over 10 years ago.
As for Therepia, I have never had a better acupuncture experience. The staff was well organized, they were able to bill my insurance, I have a friend who decided to go to Therepia after a car accident and they made all the logistics so easy.
If you need a good acupuncturist look no further. I am personally willing to travel over an hour just to go to Therepia because of service they offer. I don’t think I would go anywhere else.

I am an owner of wellness center similar to Therapia. Just last week I needed to utilize their chiropractic services because I have no other chiropractor in my office to work on me. Dr. Jenna was fabulous. Very attentive to my every ache and pain and super gental. The business owner, Tara, was so friendly and really made you feel at home while in their care. Thank you so much guys!

Love this place. Great and reasonable acupuncture. I go to this place for my acupuncture. Tara is super sweet and wonderful at her job. I always receive the acupuncture with electrical stimulation.

Can’t express how happy I am I discovered Therapia and tried acupuncture. I went for a specific problem which is improving, but the greatest surprise is the monumental stress reduction. Nothing I have ever tried has relieved my stress this much. Tara is a wonderful person and knows what she’s doing.

Tara first introduced me to the powers of acupuncture several years ago, and I’ve used it ever since to relieve my hip pain and attain deep muscle relaxation. Her new clinic is a beautiful space (with plenty of parking!) where she can treat you with her skillful touch and will take the time to answer all your questions. BONUS! She takes insurance.

I was extremely uncomfortable with the idea of acupuncture, and various of my yogi friends suggested that I try it for my repetitive motion injury in my right shoulder. I found out she was now practicing it, and figured if I could trust anyone to stuff needles in me for my own good, it would be her.
I’m fantastically happy, so far, that I tried it. Not only is she tremendously good at making me feel comfortable in her space, she was more than willing to handle my maze of multiple insurances and copays and blah blah blah. Not to mention my shoulder feeling progressively better and her giving me PT advice as well as acupuncture and massage. (and some kind of low AC voltage therapy that seems to be working) All in all I am tremendously surprised and pleased with the results so far, and will update this if /​when I consider myself ‘healed.’

I’ve received acupuncture from Tara several times before she opened up Therapia. She used acupuncture to help my knee pain, head aches, & back pain. I can say that as far as my back pain went nothing worked except acupuncture. It was a dull ache in my sacrum that wouldn’t go away for months. I tried stretching, medication, and several trips to the chiropractor. I’m not saying these didn’t help but they didn’t make the pain go away. After my first acupuncture treatment the pain was gone immediately. I had 6 follow up appointments and the pain has never returned. That was 5 years ago!
Tara is amazing to work with. I’m so glad that she has her own clinic now. I’ll be visiting her at Therapia for sure.
