Love this place and everything about it. As only a part-time beer fan, it’s quite an eddorsement. But you simply cant go wrong with this spot. Inside or out. Beer, cider and oftena strange mix that caters to my love of fruity beer & beer mixes. Such an eclectic mix inside the«tent». Such an amazing taste mixes outside the tent! They may have gotten rid of the fire pit which makes me sad but still — this place is so often the coolest choice you can make for bfast, lunch, dinner and beer! My roommate has been to their movie nights and I hear tell there’s trivia as well!

Great beer. Comfortable chairs. Cute bartender and excellent music. All surrounded by awesome food carts. Seriously though, you’re outside and drinking beer– perfect for a hot day.

Rainy and cold outside, but it’s packed inside. There is a fire pit roaring outside too. That was what said in December. Now it’s a random 77 degree day in April and it’s packed inside and outside. There are 7 food carts to feed from. Plus the beer porch. Order food, get a beer and enjoy, hang out, chill. I hope this place never changes. I’ve been coming here for years and it always amazes me how more popular it gets each year.

A few years ago I gave this place two stars. After becoming a regular, I’ve updated it to 5. Why? Better beer selection. Falafel. Breakfast sandwiches and coffee. BBQ. Potatoes. Farmer’s market. Fire pit. This place went from shabby to INCREDIBLE in a few short years. I hope it continues to improve and expand.

The beer porch is a great spot to wait for your food cart food to be prepped and enjoy a brew. They have a fireplace inside to keep you warm and dry in the rainy weather. The prices and beer selection are good and the staff is friendly. When I say staff I think I have only had one guy every serve me here! Great spot and a regular spot for myself and friends.

Beer from captured by porches and other fine purveyors. Camping vibe with movies Mondays and Tuesdays. Food is good too!

Love coming to this place when we want to go out but don’t feel like commuting anywhere. The beer is cheap and delicious, and the food carts are always excellent! Glad they enclosed the patio, it feels much more cozy.

Toddlers screaming and running throughout the space. I implore the owners to please ask their customers who bring their toddlers to keep them under their control. Screaming and running throughout an establishment is not acceptable behavior. Why has discipline become unfashionable?

This is a fun, outdoor community gathering place. Surrounding the porch are a variety of food carts selling local grub and a farm-fresh produce stand. There are plenty of local brews on tap and a few bottled selections. A mellow atmosphere makes this ideal for an after-work pint or a family-friendly dinner out.

The heart of the St. John’s food court area. This spot is wonderful funky and authentic. We love the beers on tap and the indoor area. They have their own music series into the summer and movies in the winter. This isn’t a polished corporate place. It’s a place for for enjoying the Portland culture and watching the people. The music mix by the way is awesome.

One of the best-kept secrets in Portland. One of Portland’s finest, most meticulous brewers, one of the old-timer originals who put Portland beer on the map in the first places, brews choice local ingredients into pint-sized masterpieces. No, really. This is the place! A great selection of guest taps too, in a casual, ever-changing porch atmosphere that feels like the backyard at a great summer barbecue. The prices are amazing for what you get, and the knowledgeable-yet-not-condescending staff will take the time to learn your name and chat you up. A perfect 100.

The pasta shack in the beer garden is delicious! The gnocchi and the Italian chocolate pudding are a must!

What can one say about good beer, outdoors, with a bunch of food carts and a Kruger’s all right there? Well, if they don’t mind me dropping a sleeping bag right there, I’d just set up camp, and it would be great. This was a quick visit only because we were picking up food for a bbq, so one fast beer and we were in and out. They have some good choices and a kolsch was the choice for me. Free beer is even better when your buddy offers it up. No complaints by me. Thankfully we were there before the summer heat really set in. I can’t imagine how hot it gets over there. Nice place and I enjoyed the beer porch.

My favorite watering hole. Food and drink, GF options, ciders and such. Thai and mexi, American and a farmers market. Fire pit, live music, kids and dogs. Wonderful staff, Jackie will set you up with a pint of ale.

I love the idea of a beer porch somewhere not far from home. I wish we had more things like this in Tigard. But for now the drive up to St johns will be a special treat. Make sure to bring a couple of friends so you can designate a DD! Also try the apricot ale, so good for summer!

Worst experience in Portland. The lady that served us was incredibly rude. She was so loud and obnoxious and asked to see my ID when I ordered a kombucha! I gave it to her and she spent the next 10 minutes staring at it and telling me it looked absolutely nothing like me and it must be fake. Who would have a fake ID to order KOMBUCHA? She asked for my boyfriend’s ID and proceeded with her uncouth remarks. This lady needs to get fired. Not to mention their drinks are absolutely subpar. I won’t ever return.

This location is awesome! A fun covered porch, fire pit, bus — what more can you ask for??? Oh yeah, great food carts and a farmer’s market to go with the beer. Definitely recommend!!!

Cute little place in the St. John’s food cart pod. They have a cozy little porch with couches and a hammock to relax on. The girl who works the bar is always very nice, but we once winessed a lady(her boss?) angrily pull her aside and close the bar for a «staff meeting» while people were waiting in line. So that was weird. The beer has been flat and watered down each time I’ve visited, but the atmosphere is relaxing so I will be back to hang out.
