John Ross is a high-rise condominium located on the south waterfront. It is Portland’s seventh tallest building at 325′ high. The John Ross was started in 2095 and finished in 2007. There are 31 floors and 303 units. It is an ownership building. This building is a block off of the Willamette River but the upper units have a view. 2015 – 52

This is a great building. With an ever growing area the john Ross is perhaps the best community of all the buildings in the south waterfront. The maintenance people to the front door people are very professional.

My fiancé and I(and our dog) have been living in the John Ross for about eight months now(renting from a family member) and have no complaints about the building. Our unit is lovely, the view is lovely, and the neighborhood is lovely. Most of the concierges have been very nice and helpful. We’re a young couple and it’s nice to see such a diverse crowd in the building. We lived(and still own a unit) in one of the other buildings in the neighborhood and found it to be a little too stuffy for our taste. The residents are much friendly to young people in the John Ross. People make conversation in the elevator. It’s overall a nice, friendly building. I’d recommend it!

What kind of management company has front desk people at a huge high rise building had over a $ 2100 MacBook Pro to another person and not take responsibility. PREM Group does. I had a new Apple computer delivered to my residence at the John Ross Building in Portland. I come to pick it up and they don’t have it. I have asked for them to buy me a new one or pay me the cost of the computer. It as been over a month now and every time I call they have another excuse, etc. Do not live in a building that is managed by this company. they have employees that steal deliveries and to not take responsibility for their errors. It has been over a month, I am out over $ 2100 and now have to sue them to recover my money.

Nice building, but the Board can be a bit harsh. Great building for an older crowd, but not very tolerant or inviting for a younger generation of residents. I’m not sure whose idea it was to have 24⁄7 concierge service, even on holidays. Seems a bit excessive to me, especially since their primary role tends to be handling deliveries.
