My wife and I stopped in this store on while on vacation from Charlotte NC. We rarely have time for this kind of special shopping experience during our normal busy life, so it was a perfect opportunity. The sales staff at The Clean Bedroom took their time to explain, in depth, our options for organic matresses, mattress toppers, and bed treatments. They explained the pro’s and con’s of each manufacturer and the various materials to us. We did 6 months of additional research and stopped in multiple stores after our experience at the clean bedroom, and no other experience compared to the great service we received while in Portland. We highly recommend it!

Absolutely fantastic customer service. Product itself is wonderful. I designed a home here in Maine for clients in LA who were able to go try out recommended models in a local showroom. I try to incorporate non toxic materials in all my residential design projects and mattresses are top of the list. The showroom is a zero pressure, positive environment and I hope everyone gets a chance to learn more about them!

We had been looking for comfortable, but not chemical laden, pillows for a while. They have a great selection providing options from traditional style to a healthy alternative to memory foam. We even found a new bed for our Black Lab! Locally owned too, which is a nice bonus. Sales staff was fabulous. … patient and knowledgeable.

The salesperson Teague was amazing. This was hugely helpful. She could answer all our questions & was incredibly helpful beyond just selling us a bed. She was kind, considerate, knowledgeable. The environment of the store was very clean & I loved the styles of their beds as well, though I bought a simple frame. I will definitely go back as I’d like to purchase an IQAir filtering system from them.

I bought a custom size mattress here and not only is the product awesome, so are the people who run the store. They provided extraordinary customer service and truly aim to please. Both women who helped me knew their stuff/​mattresses and went above and beyond what was necessary to meet my bedding needs. They measured my bed frame for me, advised me and helped install it upon delivery!
From the start the mattress itself has been comfortable but it took many travels to realize it is the best possible sleeping experience. It has been about a year since I’ve had this mattress and I’ve slept on at least a dozen other beds. On other beds, I awake with some aches and pains consistently. NEVER when awaking (or sleeping) on my own Clean Bedroom mattress. It truly has enhanced my health and well-​being.
I can’t recommend this establishment more. They really take care of you and make you
a very happy sleeper.
