Great food and nice service. Thank you for good lunch. No. 10 is soooo good. I want to try to another food.

I’ve lost count of the number of times we’ve been to Thailand and can honestly say that Thai Yummy is the real deal…(And also lost count of the number of times I’ve been to Thai Yummy!) Super authentic fresh and spicy Thai food on ohsu’s doorstep… The spicy basil with minced chicken is just the best and can be as spicy as you wish! Always busy which tells the story well! Go early for the salad rolls as they are super popular…

Awesome place! Outstanding food, have always had a great experience at Thai Yummy. My co-workers and I eat there multiple times a week and come back every week for more. The owner Jason is a great person, loves what he does and goes out of his way to make sure the customer is happy and satisfied. –Kid.

Their rice dishes are a little heavy on rice and lacking on the good stuff, but the noodle dishes are spot on. Flavors are always delicious and they’re very pleasant(even when there is a long line of temperamental customers in line).

Quick and delicious Thai food, less than a five minute walk from OHSU Physician’s Pavilion. $ 15 for two lunches and a Thai iced tea. My pad phet(L7) stir fry had good amounts of chicken and veggies(cut thin/small just how I like it), a light and flavorful sauce, and perfectly cooked rice. Pad Thai was also a tasty dish, with plenty of garnish(bean sprouts, green onions, etc.). Didn’t love the texture of the beef, much prefer the chicken. Thai iced tea was good, although a little on the sweet side. I like how they have little plastic cups with lids for condiments to go… fish sauce is strong! Large menu for a food truck consisting of appetizers, noodles, stir fries and curries with your choice of meat. Very friendly service, they seem to get a lot of phone orders. Filling portions in sturdy microwave-safe containers.

Thai Yummy lives up to its name! I work at OHSU and was tired of overpriced hospital food, so I made the trudge up the hill to visit this cute little place. I was not disappointed. I had the yellow curry with chicken and Jason let me add broccoli for no charge. There were a plethora of chili sauces(perfect for a condiment aficionado like myself) and hot ginger tea while you wait! Gold star, Thai Yummy.

Seriously. Good. Food. Jason will set you up right and you’ll be happy you picked up their Panang curry and Pad Kee Mao(and that you called your order in ahead of the lunch rush). A damn good treat when I «forget» to bring lunch from home!

Gr8 little Thai food truck! Hands down the best food available around campus. Haven’t tried a dish I didn’t like. The food is always spot on and at a great price. The service is great, love chatting with the owner when he’s not swamped while drinking a cup of complementary tea :-)

So good! Perfect lunch portion with a sensible price tag to match. The owner who works daily is by far the nicest man at any cart you will go to. The food is fresh, quick, and delicious! If you work at OHSU and you are not eating here you are doing it wrong.

So happy with this place. I love Thai food and their’s is the bomb. I’ve tried the Bangkok fried rice and the pad see ew. Loved both. Unfortunately they do sell out of the garden rolls so fast I haven’t tried them yet but I will come back earlier next time!

I’ve avoided Thai food for the last so many years out of fear of disappointment after being exposed to great Thai in Honolulu. Then I was introduced to Thai Yummy and now I have constant cravings. I’ve had the eggplant but my go to is the drunken noodles. Packed with flavor and spices and just the right amount of sauce so you don’t mistaken it for drowning noodles(cooked just right). The chicken I get with my dish is always moist considering it’s mainly strips of white meat. I usually get it spicy and it’s creates just the right amount of heat sweat on my forehead and sideburns. While it’s not on the menu I’ve had their papaya salad for a party and I was eating it for a couple of days. It’s just that good. Definitely will try the other things they on the menu. The owners are superb and for a little place, you get a feeling they’re just part of the community. I’ve witnessed Jason chatting up all the families walking by. You can tell they care about the quality of the food and if you spend some time you’ll learn why it’s so good… there’s a professional back there. I wish they were closer to Happy Valley(home) or Beaverton(work) and stayed open longer so I can get some dinner… but that’s just me being selfish. For now I’ll just have to settle for stopovers on my way to drill every month.

I’ve never done the math, but my diet probably is at least 70% Thai food. So I like to believe I know a thing or two about it. Thai Yummy is easily in my top few places in town to get Thai food. I work on the hill so this is my go-to lunch spot several times a week(Some weeks I go daily…). I’ve tried most everything on the menu, and not once have I been disappointed. Everything is very flavorful, well-balanced, and satisfying. My top picks would be pad se ew, pumpkin curry, or pad ginger. But really, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. His salad rolls are excellent to, no bland salad rolls here! These are packed with flavor and are pretty big too! He runs out quick sometimes though, so come early!(That really just proves how good they are!) Jason(the guy who runs the place) couldn’t be nicer, and really makes an effort to get to know his regular customers. I change my order all the time, but I have a feeling if I didn’t he’d have my order memorized by now too. It’s quick, too. And Jason does a good job of providing time estimates when they’re busier. And even when they’re super busy, he and his cook churn out delicious food like clockwork. So if you’re looking for excellent thai food in the area, you can’t go wrong with Thai Yummy!

Great food and very friendly service! I drive out of my way just to get lunch. I recommend Thai Yummy to everyone. The prices are very reasonable and there is never a long wait to get it unlike other Thai restaurants.

This is seriously the best street cart food I have ever tasted. I am from Los Angeles so I always feel that SoCal has the best Asian food options. After trying this Thai food street cart, man… I would say I totally underestimate what this magical food cart could bring me… The drunken noodles are spicy yet flavorful. Their different selections of curry are to die for… Best of all, the owner is such a sweet guy that he provided us some good tips while traveling in Portland! Simply love their food and people!

I love this place. I eat here at least every Friday(Friday Thai-day), usually more. The food is fresh, tasty and cheap. I could stop there, but I won’t. It’s just one super friendly guy at the register and one really friendly Thai lady who makes all the food with a few woks in the back. I’m a pretty big guy and I find the portions to be perfect. When I bring other people from the office they usually have leftovers. And it’s $ 6.50! Made to order, fresh and tasty. And they have a punch card, buy 10 get one free. I’ve had a lot of different things here, and it’s all really good. Most people have their favorites, but ask him for a suggestion and you’ll be sure to get something great. Also try the salad rolls. They’re FAT and the peanut sauce is heavenly. I use Pad See Ew as a benchmark to compare Thai restaurants, and they easily have one of the best. The Thai iced tea is always great also. Not too sweet, not too creamy. If you’re on Marquam Hill, you’re probably at OHSU. If you want food and don’t want the crap from the cafeterias, this cart is probably ¼ mile from the hospital. You’ll be glad to went.
