We get takeout here all the time and it is always good. I especially love all of their currys. You can tell how good a Thai restaurant is by their pad thai, and they make delicious pad thai. Everything is super flavorful and fresh. Also love the fried spring rolls. Nom.

First time today; for lunch. Chicken Salad rolls were fresh, crisp and the sweet chili sauce was a great compliment — we devoured these. Rama Garden with Chicken — lots of carrots. Shredded and waffle cut carrots. Once I stirred it up I found the cabbage, corn and broccoli. It was delicious though, the peanut sauce on this was very tasty. Lots of chicken and a large scoop of rice. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal and am looking forward to returning for the Pad Thai. Clean, open dining room; lots of seating. Service was fast. Restroom was clean. Server was efficient. Not overly friendly and engaging, but got the job done.

7.99 for only a small cup of yellow curry, but it was not authentic curry at all. Instead, the dishwashers must have added yellow tumeric to hot water along with less than a spoonful of actual vegetables, which amounted to two slices of carrot, a broccoli floret, and a spoonful of potato along with 2 small teaspoon size cubes of uncooked tofu. If this is what Portland residents enjoy as quality Thailand curry, that is an embarrassment to them, Thailand, and food culture.

Just got take out from here for the first time. The food is priced on the higher side for Thai take out, and was very okay. I was not impressed and will probably try out a few other Thai restaurants in the neighborhood to find our new go-to!

I really love this place! Our server Yui was sweet and attentive. She made us feel welcome with her great personality. Wishing more servers were like her. I recommend the house shrimp curry, it’s amazing. The cashew chicken, Calamari, and shrimp tempura are also 5 stars

I ordered chicken pad Thai and my food was ready in five minutes. Quality service and the food was beyond delicious. It was amaze-balls! Highly recommend this place!

Ordered Vegetarian Pad Thai for takeout, got home to find it full of chicken. Called back, guy was very rude and blamed the kitchen instantly. When I asked for my side of rice also when I come back in to pick up my order, she told me it I already got rice they did not contain chicken and hung up on me. First and only time eating here, I couldn’t believe it.

I loveeeeee Thai food but this was a disappointment! Terrible customer service my waiter was rude and awkward, bland, greasy, and BLAND disgusting food! Don’t waste your time going to such a place I bet there are other good Thai places on Alberta!

Ordered to go from here about ten minutes before they closed. Went in to pay and service was still extremely friendly and quick! Food was so good too(pad see ew and pineapple fried rice) after a long day of walking around and trying trendy but disappointing restaurants.

This place is in my neighborhood so I have become a regular, especially since they are open until 10pm! I always either order the Pad Kee Mao(drunken noodles) or the eggplant stir-fry with chicken. Both great dishes — never can go wrong with either of them. Customer services is always nice, although I always get take-out so I cannot say for the sit-in service. Will continue to come here as long as I live in this area :)

The Food is always delicious when I visit this place. Whenever I visit Portland I make sure I come to Thai noon because you do not get delicious Thai food like this in New York. However, the guy in the glasses(the host) has had a REALLY bad attitude the last few times I came(been in town a month and have eating here at least 6 times)

Came here towards the end of Last Thursday in July, I’ve had their cuisine at the office(which is the perfect choice for work meetings by the way) but had not visited their location on Alberta. I had the yellow curry which I thought would have a bit more spice and flavor; our server insisted that their menu ‘runs toward the hotter side.’ The other 2 plates we had were flavorful, pad kee mao(drunken noodles) and pad thai. I would recommend these dishes to anyone — If you’re a fan of spicy food, ask for the kitchen to kick it up a notch! The location was moderately busy due to Last Thursday but the kitchen seemed speedy. Servers are very kind. We didn’t have drinks this time but their selection at the bar looked like a reason to visit again soon!

Acceptable, but not great. We had yellow curry and pad thai — kind of the litmus for checking out a new thai place imo. Flavors were somewhat bland. Veggies were very fresh and not overcooked, so that was a plus. Service was reasonable but not great and not overly attentive. I’d go here again in a Thai food emergency if it was the only thing open, but there are better Thai options in NE Portland.

We give 5 stars to Thai Noon because we think they have one of the best tum yum soups of the city! Just amazing! Very delicious, we order a chicken tum yum and also a shrimp tum yum, we both agree that the shrimp one was the best. We like to get a order of sticky rice and added to the soup, and it’s just perfect. the place looks clean and they have a small bar area, the waiter wasn’t the most friendly waiter but wasn’t rude either. We would definitely keep going back.

The flavours were fine. A bit boring. We waited way too long for our food. Which would be fine if it was delicious. But I was mostly underwhelmed. The number one thing that got me was the chicken. It was like someone took some Tyson chicken strips, took the breading off and threw it into my pad se ew. If it weren’t for the time it took to strip these chicken strips, I’m certain the food would be fine. But 45 minutes is too long to wait for lack luster Thai in a city where you can get amazing Thai in 3 – 5 minutes.

It would be very nice to be able to review the food and service at this restaurant. Instead I get to review the negative treatment I received tonight. My family and I were coming home from an event and craving Thai food. As a friend had recommended this place, we thought we’d give it a try. We checked their website and the hours said they closed at 10:30pm — great! I parked across the street at 9:58pm and started to walk towards the door. As I did so, a worker inside flipped the«open» sign over to «closed». As it was a split second before I walked in, I tried the door and it was open… there were about 3 tables still eating and the neon«open» sign was still on. I approached the counter with a smile and said I would like take-out. The worker said they close at 10pm and the website hours were for summer. I looked at the huge clock behind her and pointed out that it was 9:59pm. She said the kitchen closes 10 minutes before the restaurant. I said — oh really? So the kitchen closes at the unadvertised hour of 9:49pm in the winter? I’ll have to make a note of that. I said ok — well obviously you don’t want to make money and you don’t want to make a customer for life — thanks! The worker said — you should have come earlier! What??? I came in 31 minutes before your advertised closing time! Plenty of time to fix up some to-go food. Really lady? You should have kept your advertised hours on a SATURDAY night — and at least recognized you could have brought in another $ 75 minimum and a $ 15 tip for your staff with a simple to-go order — plus made a customer for life. Maybe you don’t know the saying — negative feedback gets around to 100 people while positive feedback only gets around to 10. Case in point right here. I live 4 blocks away and I LOVE Thai food. Was hoping to make this place a regular stop, but I will NEVER go here again… nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. RUDE. DISRESPECTFUL. ABSOLUTELYTHEWRONGATTITUDEFORTHERESTAURANTBUSINESS. Thai Noon — you should really check yourself before you wreck yourself!

So, Unilocal lead me astray. It happens. I’m not like, gonna cry about it. Soggy, flavorless Kha Soi(drunken curry noodles) with chicken. Overly steamed, flavorless Drunken Rama. Bad wine. A waitress who said«And you’ll just have water, right?» after my mom ordered a drink– because I’m a 25-year-old who looks 17 years old. Color me completely unimpressed by Thai Noon. They have a happy hour menu that ends at 6PM where pretty much their entire regular menu is $ 2 cheaper. If you’re gonna go, go before then. They have Thai themed cocktails all for $ 7-$ 7.50 too… if you really want a Thai iced tea with vanilla vodka in it. Otherwise, NEXT! Remember, NEXT?! Bring a new Thai restaurant out of the MTV bus, Portland!

Thai Noon has become one of my favorite thai spots! Everytime I go I usually order the tofu fried rice but this time I felt like spending a bit more and tried the shrimp fried rice along with the pumpkin tempura. Both were excellent! Will be ordering the tempura again

The food here is good but not great thai food. I am very biased because Thai food is my thing and it is very rare for me to give 5 stars to a Thai restuarant. The best part of this place was the service. We had a very pleasant Asian lady who was not awkward and cracked jokes with us. She was super cute and her behavior alone is what would drag me back here. Great spring rolls!

I came to Thai Noon for dinner with my fiancé one evening since we were in the mood for Thai food. There were at least 3 Thai restaurants in the Alberta Arts District so it was pretty hard to make a decision, so we just aimlessly walked in the closest one which happened to be Thai Noon. Service was fantastic, they let us seat ourselves and pick the table of our choice. We sat by the window and we started the meal with an IPA and Thai tea – both were to our satisfaction. We ordered their egg rolls, Pad See Ew, and the Tofu Tom Kah. The Tom Kah was amazing! It was tangy and savory, and LOADED with veggies and tofu. The serving was HUGE and too much for 2 people to share. The Pad See Ew was my favorite dish. This is by far THEBEST I’ve ever had. The flat noodles were the perfect texture and the dish was flavorful and delicious. WEKILLEDEVERYTHINGONTHEPLATE. The vegetarian egg rolls were solid, but nothing too different from the usual. We ended the meal with an order of the mango sticky rice. Phenomenal. The entire meal was SOOOOGOOOD. The restaurant is clean, service is attentive, and food is authentic. Ask for their CHILIFLAKES! We added that to EVERYTHING and it added heat without overpowering the flavor of any dish. I HIGHLYRECOMMENDTHEPADSEEEW!

This is a great little spot to stop in for happy hour or a big plate of curry on Alberta. I had the mussamen curry with some brown rice — it was milky and peanuty, with heaps of perfectly cooked potatoes and carrots. It was super cheap even when I ordered items off the non-happy-hour menu. $ 6 gets you a plate of curry. I also love their thai iced tea. They will substitute coconut milk in your thai iced tea if you ask and it actually tastes amazing. I come here all the time with girlfriends because it’s big, there’s never a wait, the prices are great, the food comes out quickly and well-made, and the service never fails. I recommend this place if you need a good group hang out.
