This company is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me! They were suggested to me by my regular shade company, which is only 6 blocks from my home (Lloyd Center area), because I needed the cloth tapes replaced on my old wooden blinds and my regular company doesn’t do that work any longer.
Shade Worx, the new name for this WONDERFUL COMPANY, did a stupendous and speedy job replacing the cloth tapes for me. Being a pretty good DIY person myself, at one time I considered doing the job myself and took down one of the shades to evaluate the chore. Nope, too complicated. Shade Worx did EXEMPLARY WORK.
The owners are SUPER NICE and ACCOMMODATING. I happened to have my largish dog with me when I dropped off my shades. I brought him in the store on a leash, they exclaimed over how beautiful and sweet he is, then asked if he could have a treat. I let go of the leash so he could get his treat, and next thing I know, my dog trotted off into the back of the shop as if he works there himself. That’s how comfortable and nice the owners are.

I used Unilocal to find these guys & I am SOOOO glad I did! I had a custom $ 700 roman shade with a broken string. They didn’t require an appointment, fixed it quicker than they promised, charged under what I expected (VERY reasonable!!), and changed all the strings; not just the broken one. And if that wasn’t enough, every single person I dealt with was personable, helpful, and friendly! Oh, and the blind works better than it ever has!

They do not do repairs in place but they recommended another person who would do minor repairs in place and for major ones he uninstalled the shade and blinds, took them to suburban for fixing and brought back and installed them. Great communication and punctuality by everyone. Thank you guys. We’ll always hire and recommend you.

Excellent customer service. Dave and Allison run an efficient and friendly service. I had two Graber Crystal Pleat blinds fixed in short order. Good thing too, as they are bathroom blinds. (Translation, my teenagers and wife are not ultra mad at me for exposing them to the neighbors!)

I had Allison and Dave restring two of my honeycomb window blinds. Both times they were incredibly efficient and the cost is super reasonable. Allison and Dave are so cordial and professional. Fantastic service!

These guys are fantastic. They are super friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. They don’t sell any drapes themselves. They only do repairs and I believe installations. I got referred to them for some spare parts for my blinds that I couldn’t find anywhere else. I will definitely be using them for my future needs.
The place is a bit hard to find the first time. Call them and ask for directions.

Allison and Dave are so nice and professional. I have taken two blinds to them for restring. Their work is fast, inexpensive, detailed, and pro. I’ve called other shops that do the same work in the area but they are rude, sound rushed, turn around is long, and more expensive. Suburban is friendly, helpful, does not overcharge, and turn around on repairs is super fast.
This morning I brought a honeycomb blind in and they repaired it within a few hours. Great shop. Extraordinary customer service.

I took in two Comfortex honeycomb blinds. They fixed them ovenight and did a great job. They even added an extra string to reinfoce the large one, which has been problematic due to the weak support. (This place is a little hard to find. They are near the mini storage place in the building #10.)
