Steve and Kate’s Camp – Portland

Our 7 year old did not know anyone at camp. The camp is set up where kids get the freedom to choose style studio, bread baking, outdoor activities, sewing, dance studio– it’s endless fun. The host school All Saints is clean and well cared for! kids eat real food and vegetables made in the kitchen by a chef. Snacks range from fruit and vegetables to chips. The staff is impressive– they know your child’s name and are approachable and outgoing. It feels good as a parent to see how they have a passion for kids. They are outstanding young adults! Buy a few passes and give it a try. The value of Steve and Kate’s exceeds the cost for this camp. Go for it!!!

I found this camp totally last minute. Oh how I wish you I found it earlier this summer! My 11 year old daughter had her first day here today. She had such fun! They have this organized so well! I will admit my child is not easily thrilled with day camps and she is already raving about this one. We will be back next summer too!

However, whilst naysayers may claim it is expensive, the joy and happiness more than covers any and all other issues. And the price includes lunch and lots of other cool items.
Have a 5 yr and 6 yr old. Who LOVE it.

What can I say? My usually shy 9-​year old is having a blast and making friends at Steve and Kate’s camp. He even asked to be able to go on a day that I wasn’t planning to send him because of a project he’s working on with his new friend!
The camp believes in letting kids do what they enjoy and giving them the freedom to choose to do them as much or as little as they like. My son loves the animation and music studios, but there are so many other things as well including bread making, movie making, outside games to play, weekly specials, and cool visitors (like Rojo the Llama).
A plus for working parents: the camp hours are designed for us. You can drop off as early as 7:30 am and pick up as late as 6:00 pm. And they feed your kids too; you don’t even have to pack a lunch!
The prices are comparable to other day camps around the area, especially when you figure in the food and extended hours. They are very transparent about the costs on their website and make it easy to choose as many days as you would like, or purchase more days if you need them.
