Starbucks

Starbucks in the Lloyd Center is a Starbucks in a mall. Such store is located near the entrance-​exit, which is nice as a result of its closer proximity to the light rail station compared to elsewhere in the mall. Three lines go there and it’s almost downtown. This location does not have any tables, though seating is available near the storefront and beside the escalator. Turn-​dial candy is to be found nearby.
It was worthwhile to go here. Their usual fare was present, with their La Boulange addition shining a bit. They do have copious staffing. My order of a bottled Frappauchino and a bagel with cream cheese was a little less than five dollars. There is lots of competition if you roam about the mall and the adjacent district. The mall even offers plenty of other options such as bubble tea. I wouldn’t study at this one, I would rather study at other Starbucks locations in the Lloyd District, particularly if I am to plugin and do homework on my laptop.
This is nothing notable.

While the employees are nice enough they continue to mess up orders 3 times now I have ordered food and somehow they forget to give me mine while I’m standing there and continue to make other people’s food this last time I paid and didn’t even get my food because I ran out of time to wait and be ignored that will be my last visit to Starbucks of any location due to the fact that I’m tired of placing my order paying being skipped and then someone acting like they are surprised I’m there

Mostly okay Starbucks location.
Nice to have a coffee when shopping.
Baristas generally nice.
Parking for this mall is generally not worth it.

I just had a worst experienced with the barista SCOTT «the manager on site», i came in to get my first refill of the special black $ 40.00 tumbler, and the «MANAGER“accused me that i stole the tumbler because its brand new! He wanted me to get the receipt in my car to prove him that i did not steal it, If they have a lot of stolen tumblers, it is not my problem! This is just another discrimination and assuming that young people are THEFT is just WRONG! WORST MANAGER EVER and SCOTT IS THE NAME! He shouldn’t be managing the location if he doesn’t trust
A customer! Worst customer service and made me want to return this black tumbler and get my $ 40 back! WORST MANAGER don’t deserve any STAR!

This Starbucks location sucks. Sorry, but the staff is rude & the drink is never made right the first time.

Asked for a sugar free hot chocolate. I am diabetic so I can’t have the sugar. They made me a fat free (aka loaded with extra sugar) instead. I am 105lbs, do I really look like I need a fat free bev? So completely Undrinkable but I didn’t have time to wait in line again. I don’t miss coffee or sugar, but I NEED the fat. Please.

They are often out of their blonde roast at this location. Not sure if it is the time I go in or what but seems odd.

You can use your Barnes and Noble membership at this register and order your coffee and buy your books in one fell swoop.

You are not a real Portlander, if you don’t like Starbucks. Yeah, I said it. I heart Starbucks. It’s the best damn invention. Sometimes their coffee makes me gag, but it does give you the up you need to get through a boring work/​school day. The best thing about Starbucks is the specialty drinks. You know the overpriced drinks like the Salted Carmel Mocha or Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher. Today, I had their new fall special, Pumpkin Spice Latte. It was like I died and went to Starbucks heaven. It was so yummy. It had a great flavor/​taste. The server at this Starbucks hooked it up! I’m usually leery of Starbucks in malls or grocery stores, because they usually suck. But the one at Lloyd Center tends to be on par with the stand alone Starbucks. I definitely recommend grabbing a Pumpkin Spice Latte while you do your shopping.

This Starbucks is the only location at Lloyd Center. It is located on the first floor about halfway between Nordstrom and Macy’s. I found it sort of disappointing in that the store is small given the foot traffic at the mall. The space does not have any seating so this is strictly a to go place.
Though there was a long line on a weekend afternoon when I visited, it moved at a brisk pace and I got my drink fairly quickly here. If you want some ambiance, you would be better off going to the Barnes & Noble Café upstairs or head to the standalone Starbucks a few blocks away.
In general, this Starbucks met my needs. Though Starbucks could afford to upgrade to a larger location at the mall.

SUPER fast service! I always compare other SB to this one because they aren’t as fast as these guys.

I have mastered getting out of Starbucks for $ 2.25 and calorie free. I order a Passion shaken iced tea, no syrup. Love them! I am not a coffee drinker, but have been known to fall in love with some seasonal things that involve caramel and salt. Then I am right back to my iced tea.
I am not down here enough to judge them on how fast they move the line, but it was not a bad wait for my fix.

While they do get very busy at times — over the year or so I’ve been coming to this Starbucks they seem to have the system down, move quickly, are kind and listen to your order and are always willing to accommodate a request or question. There is no seating in this Starbucks — it is just a small/​thin location inside the Mall. The same staff has been in here (pretty much) since I started visiting and they’ve gotten to know me and my drink even though I’m only in about 2 – 4 times a week.

I used to work in this mall and was forced to come here… If you must go– be prepared to wait and have your drink re made. :/​There is a sbucks in the bookstore upstairs! Worth the walk :)

We came here to eat our VooDoo doughnuts since my bf is a Starbucks addict. Granted, we didn’t go here during a crunch time. It was leisurely at about 2 in the afternoon. We got our coffee quickly with little wait. My bf is very particular about his coffee, and surprisingly they did his coffee correctly. Maybe it was the glow of the VooDoo doughnuts, but the coffee really hit the spot. One big bonus is that there is a parking lot so we didn’t have to pay for parking for search manically for an open spot then walk blocks to get where we wanted to go.

This Starbucks is always crowded since it’s in Lloyd center mall. So service is slow, and it took about ten minutes just to get my Iced Coffee.
I think that’s an embarrassment for coffee shops everywhere, really, ten minutes just to pour coffee into the cup, put the lid on the cup, and hand it to me. I just wasted ten minutes of my life that I could use for something else. I could use always use an extra of 10 minutes to stare at shoes.
