Super friendly staffs and great location! They make really good coffee. So happy to have them nearby!

This is my local Starbucks. They do a GREATJOB. A+. Know my name and my beverage. Personnel/Service could not be better. The Starbucks App, however, needs work. Not intuitive. Not consistent with the rest of ur operation. Worst part: tipping. If I find the place where you do that it’s a lucky day. I have reverted to cash. The problem could be in my phone but I’m not calling in. Why? The system wants to know the«16 digit # on the back of your card». UGH!

I usually go to coffee shops to have a cup of coffee and get some work done on the computer. WARNING: There are no outlets to plug your equipment into. I’ve never seen this at a coffee shop, let alone a Starbucks. The coffee was fine and the service was friendly, but the lack of outlets will send me to another location in the future.

Girl at the front was nice, but the guy on the bar was kinda rude. And then the regular customers were rude too. And then the half and half was at room temperature, had to dump my whole coffee away. Don’t go here, unless you’re(a regular or) getting an espresso based beverage or black coffee.

I don’t understand the low review score for this location. I go there nearly every morning(even though I have two other locations closer). I have never experienced bad service, or even the wrong order, only once in months of using this location I was charged for the wrong size, but they comp’d the mistake. The baristas are great and cheerful.

Your normal Startbucks except that if you are meeting people in the Pearl, I’d recommend directing them here as it is a really easy starting point, no matter what direction they are coming in from. Straight shot off the 405 down Glisan, can’t miss it.

We love this Starbucks Store. We live in the building and come down every morning on our way to work. We know the baristas and they know us. It’s sort of like running into old friends every morning for a quick chat and a hot cup of Joe. It puts a spring in your step and a smile on your face. Service has always been top notch and we sometime stop in when we’re heading out on the weekends! It’s always good.

Really odd chairs and a different vibe for a Starbucks with thick curtains. The same guy who took our order also made it. Incorrectly. He did fix his mistake without complaint, but that just capped an otherwise indifferent experience here. There were quite a few other Starbucks and coffee shops in the nearby area, so I’d try another before returning here.

You know what you are getting when you go to Starbuck’s, but the people her are spectacular. Great attitudes and they establish name recognition from the start. I often feel like I am at a friend’s house when we go here!

We were gallery hopping on a rainy afternoon in the Pearl District and came upon this Starbucks. It was late in the afternoon and many of the places(other than restaurants) were closed. Just got here minutes before this place closed. It was a great relief. It was great to get a nice hot cup of java for the walk back to the Max Station several blocks away. My bf loves his coffee extra hot, and that is exactly what it was. It warmed me up and filled my tummy. It was just what I needed! The service was great and our drinks were prepared perfectly.

I think the reviews of this Starbucks are off, I have gone here for the last 12 years, they are very consistent and they make my drinks correctly. I have ordered up to 20 drinks here before and they had the personnel to cover my order and not get to slammed. If there is a line at this location it moves quick so don’t worry.

I know Starbucks is the anti-Portland, hometown coffee… but at least I always get what I expect… the same damn cup o Joe for $ 1.50… As horrible of a traitor is might make me. I like Starbucks… so get over it.

I came in here because I had two missions: 1) get a warm chai 2) let my bursting bladder get some relief. I jump in line with my dude and we want patiently, but yknow what? my bladder couldn’t wait. I see someone return the men’s bathroom key to the guy making drinks and I sneak over and ask, «hey do you think I could get the bathroom key» and he stares at me through his pretentious hipster glasses and says, «you can get it at the register» So I waddle back to line and listen to the chick in front of me hit on the cashier for a few minutes too long. Finally we get to the front and I get the stupid key and coffee. Yknow what? Your customer service sucks just like your coffee.

2 stars for being able to somehow double the already overly excessive amounts of sugar in a frappichino. I ordered one here and felt like I was being throat raped by a sugar cane.

A business associate requested a meeting at this Starbuks, and while I am usually not in a Starbucks by choice, I’m always happy to oblige… because hey, sometimes it gets me an FTR, right? Wait… hold on… what?! Starbucks CHARGES for wifi in Portland, Oregon… the home of free wifi?! This is bullshit. This shows just how out of touch this company is with even a small semblance of reality. Who the hell is going to pay for AT&T wifi when they can walk one block down and use it elsewhere for free… while drinking likely much better coffee?! The amount of $$ Starbucks makes from either selling the service or partnering with AT&T can’t be more than they would make off of people actually coming and buying $ 4 coffee-flavored milkshakes with crispy Italian names like«Venti» so that they could sit down with said milkshake and spend an hour poking people on Facebook or crafting the next Great American Novel(or whatever the unemployed do while sitting around using their laptops at coffee shops in Portland all day when they should instead be writing reviews on Unilocal). Seriously, a partnership between Starbucks and AT&T is like two death stars having angry sex. Thankfully, when someone requests that I meet them at a Starbucks, I am golden because I have a Verizon broadband USB modem. Plus one star at this location for their Pike Place Roast not being quite as bad as I’ve had at other locations.
