Can’t believe we’ve passed this place on Foster so many times and not notice it. we finally went in there after seeing the «Stumptown Coffee» sign!
Service was incredible, and of course, the coffee was amazing! Really love this place and we will be back.

Went to Speedboat for the first time today, so glad I did. Jade was the best, super friendly and helpful! The coffee was bomb. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Portland!

I love this place. Some of my favorite ever baristas. Glad it’s in the hood. A word of warning: pretty popular on weekends. If you’re in a hurry, think twice. I just spent sixteen minutes from the time I walked in and got in line to the moment I got my (one, single, solitary) drink. YMMV.

Two visits. Two perfect lattes. Friendly staff. I’m always looking for the best of everything and this is the best in Portland. Parking is easy but the «curb appeal» isn’t much so they should stay a secret for a while.

I love Speedboat coffee! The new owners are very friendly and welcoming. The baristas are wonderful as well, and Andy always remembers what I want! I usually get a caramel latte and the Coava coffee is delicious! It’s a quiet cozy place to sit, relax, and enjoy coffee!

Great place to grab a latte, or caffeine of choice if you’re ever in the Foster area. You might have passed this place several times driving on Foster, as I have. Pretty chill and laid back vibes. Unassuming on the outside, but friendly and they have stumptown:)

Definitely worth the stop– amazing coffee, great customer service and good prices. The gentleman who made our coffees even took the time to explain the differences in different types of coffees even though they were supposed to be closing in 2 minutes. Really glad we found this little shop!

Speedboat really is like Cheers, but with Coava Coffee instead of tasteless beer. Not only do the baristas know practically every customer by name, but quite a few of us customers have gotten to know each other a bit as we’ve made stopping at Speedboat a part of our daily routine for years.
If a group of us got together for some tv appropriate hijinks, I’m sure we’d have a hit sit-​com on our hands…
Michelle is an amazing ARTIST. She pours a latte swan like it’s no big deal. My roommate even got a latte dragon! Only barista I know that can do dragons.

Speedboat is a delightful treat! This place makes me feel so great and has saved my ass on those mornings were sleep the night before wasn’t a priority. I typically order and almond milk latte either Carmel or almond flavor and it’s always so freakin’ delicious. All the baristas are incredibly sweet. I have invited all my friends & family who have visited from out of town and they’ve said its the best coffee they’ve ever had. The Bagel sandwiches are pretty great too. Treat yourself to speedboat, enjoy

Pleasantly surprised! We swung by on our way across town not expecting much. I got an 8oz latte and it was really well made. Friendly staff and speedy service as well! Will be coming back. Knocked one star because we were in a hurry and thought there would be a drive-​through (there appeared to be one, but no longer exists).

Great coffee, nice atmosphere, friendly baristas. They have nice outdoor seating which is generally shaded in the morning so it’s dog friendly. However, the seating inside is so comfortable and chill that it’s hard not to choose to leave the dog at home and hang out inside for a while.

My daughter and I were thrilled with the iced spicy chai. My husband was very happy with his mocha latte. My son was head over heels for the chocolate milk.
The ambiance was quiet, quaint, and comfortable… except it was a hot day and there wasn’t A/​C…
I’ll be sure to return if I’m ever in that part of town again.
