I have received soup for the last 2 weeks and I like it. The Barack-li cheddar is really good, the white bean and fennel was also pretty good(and salty– but you can always add a little water if it’s too salty for ya) and the corn chowder was ok. The flavor was great but the texture was weird because the corn kernel skin was tough… not bad but just weird and it took away from the enjoyment a little. It’s a little on the expensive side, $ 12.50 for 28 oz. The price is what is going to eventually make me shut this soupscription down, but my newborn is making the convenience feel worth it. I would completely accept the price without any guilt if there was a reduced rate for purchasing the same soup in larger quantities. example: 2 X Veg soup = $ 22 or 3X=$ 30 Instead, it’s making me realize how easy and cheap soup is to make at home.

I love SoupCycle! I’ve been a customer for a while, although I admit I am normally on a ‘soupy vacation’ for a couple reasons: — the soup is a little pricey, and to avoid the $ 3 delivery charge, I need to order $ 20+ of soup, which is a lot(at least 228oz portions) so I only do it when the soup sounds really good, or I’m ready to stock up my freezer. OK, I guess that was just one long form reason. Anyway. You can order soups, salads, juices and more now, which is awesome. I’m eating a chilled mango spicy soup right now that’s delightful. It’s super awesome that they deliver and really, the price isn’t THAT bad considering the premium most companies charge for delivery. They are also really responsive and I have emailed them many times like ‘hey can i please cancel this week’ or ‘hey can i please add this week’ and they’re super great about accommodating me. AND they deliver on BIKES which is just the coolest. I haven’t loved everything I’ve gotten from here, which is the only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5. I’ve had a couple salads and soups that were lacking flavor wise. But usually, they’re pretty great.

I was introduced to SoupCycle by a coworker a few weeks ago, and I am so impressed! I received my first order of soup this week, and it is delicious. I highly recommend this service for people who work downtown who tend to reach for canned or frozen meals. SoupCycle creates delicious, healthy meals at a reasonable price, and I will definitely continue to order from them while I’m working in downtown Portland.

I love SoupCycle. I learned about the company when I saw one of their bikes in the area. I absolutely love their soup and salad – love, love, love! The soup is excellent in terms of quality, taste and freshness. I’ve never – and I mean never – had soup that tasted so good. Their salads and breads are delicious as well. Their salad dressing is delicious; really delicious(you’ll beg them to give you more)! I start and stop the service as needed and have never experienced any problems. Their delivery service is very reliable. I love that I’m supporting a local and sustainable company. You will not be disappointed – well, only if you don’t order soup!

Soupcycle makes my life easier. I’ve been getting soup from them for years. Delivery is dependable, costs are competitive, and online ordering is easy. Sometimes I don’t feel like soup and add rice, walaa a different meal. We order salad every week. The salad dressing fabulous! Plus, it ensures I eat salad regularly. For 2 hardworking professionals, the fresh tasty delivered soups are such a treat. Minimal prep and clean up after a long day. Thank you

After I wrote my last review, Jed from SoupCycle sent me a message apologizing and confirmed that he would stop billing me for the soup I had long since cancelled. Every business is bound to make mistakes, but the way they react to being called out on those mistakes makes the world’s difference. Soup Cycle seems ready to listen to feedback, and that’s why I’m reviewing them again. Even if I’m not subscribed at the moment, I appreciate they are a local business interested in growing with local feedback.

I was the happiest and healthiest during the year I had SoupCycle soup every week(sadly, I moved out of their delivery zone, but my fingers are crossed they will be pedaling to Sellwood to spread the soupy love soon!)! I loved every week’s option, especially all of the vegetarian choices because they were full of organic veggies and had amazing flavor. Some of my friends still receive SoupCycle soups and have brought them to potluck dinners to share… joy all around! Thank you to the choppers, cookers, and pedalers that have made this awesome small business a part of our awesome Portland community!

My family loves SoupCycle and we have been long time members. It’s great knowing that we’ll have at least one dinner a week taken care of(busy work schedules and a little one in the mix is a complicated situation). Soups are consistently good, service is great and on top of it all they are doing their part to support local farms. Keep up the good work SoupCycle and I’ll continue to be a loyal customer!

LOVE Soup Cycle. Delicious soup, delivered to your door. You can change your order every week as your tastes and needs vary(there’s even a vacation hold option). I’ve tried all soup options: vegan, veggie, meaty — and every one has been good. LOVE that I don’t have to think about dinner on the night the soup arrives.

I’m in LOVE with the SoupCycle. They bring me the best, most delicious organic soup, salad and bread every Tuesday. This week I ordered one of each of their three flavors: Thai Grrrr; Clam Chowda and Baked Potato. They offer a vegan, a vegetarian and a meaty choice. Favorite flavor so far? Brazilian Black Bean. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this business!

As a nonprofit committed to sustainability that found itself organizing a bike ride fundraiser, Green Empowerment felt that SoupCycle was our best and brightest catering option — a local business whose business model is enveloped in sustainable transportation. Jed was pure joy to work with. Sun, Wind & Gear’s riders were wowed(and warmed) by the soup. Here are just a few reports from riders about SoupCycle: «Outstanding food. Compliments to SoupCycle and to all of the sponsors for supporting this event.» «Fantastic stop. Great food and drink.» «The catering was awesome! Great finish.»

I had to try this out, so I spread the word at work and put in an order for nine quarts of a combination of vegan, vegetarian and meat soup. Each week it changes, so check their listing online. Place an order before Friday at midnight and you’ll get your soup delivered next week on a day depending on where you live in their delivery area(called Souplandistan). This is a subscription-based delivery service, so you pick which soup you want each week. You can do what we did and place a one-time order over $ 45. If your order is under $ 18, then there’s a $ 3 delivery charge. Sounds like the perfect office solution for delivery. They(Jen for us) arrive on a bike with a little trailer towing coolers full of soups, salads and bread. Totally sweet and friendly. The soup is delivered cold in containers meant for easy storage. The bread was so good! I’m not sure where it came from. The salad was also great and had the best sweet and tangy dressing. Another thing to keep in mind is that the ingredients come from local farmers. Go to their page to see stats on how many car-miles they have saved and how much money has gone to local farmers. One quart of soup is $ 9 for veggie and $ 10 for meat. Combos are available and discounts for larger orders are listed on the form. There’s a ton of information on their website, so check it out. They also Twitter and keep up a blog. Tip: They’re in the current Chinook Book: «Save 50% on your first SoupCycle delivery when you sign up for a one-month Soupscription.»
