Si’s Auto Body

…I was just minding my own business and BOOM !
That’s pretty much how it happened, I was on 4^th and Oak
and out of nowhere this massive dump truck plows right
into me, I tried honking but that didn’t make a difference.
The great news, I wasn’t hurt. The bad, my driver’s door
was toast.
Time to look for an auto body shop that I could trust to do
great work and would communicate with me and the
Insurance company of the driver at fault. I remember
talking to my mechanic about a body shop and he
mentioned Si’s on NE Glisan, so I consulted with my
research dept ( Unilocal) that’s when I read some great
reviews by trusted Unilocalers, so there I went.
Kraig, I think he is the owner, was so very professional,
sympathetic and transparent all the way through.
My car was in his shop for 5 business days and now,
it looks great ! He made sure to put new factory parts
and fanned out the paint so that it would look uniform.
I was so impressed with Kraig and his crew, I’m looking
forward to my next fender bender. just kidding.
I can’t recommend Si’s Auto Body Shop strongly enough.
You won’t be disappointed with the quality of work as well
as the great customer service. From organizing a rental
car for you, to communicating/​haggling with the Insurance
company, they pretty much do it all, with a great attitude.
Oh, and did I mention a free bag of chocolates at check
out, nice touch.

My Sweetheart found Si’s on Unilocal right after my accident. The reviews were good and we wanted a local shop to support. They were so friendly, helpful and honest. They were upfront with me about the process of working with the insurance company and the extra time it might take to get the right parts. They made every effort to get suitable parts and didn’t settle for used inadequate parts. They made it clear it might take longer since they are a small family owned business. It was worth the wait, the paint matched perfectly and the body work is amazing. I couldn’t be happier!
I’ve had nothing but great customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone that loves their car and wants only the best.

I couldn’t be happier with the work Si’s did on my truck at an affordable price. I got a few estimates before going there and none of the estimators seemed to listen to me when I said I wasn’t going through insurance on the claim and would like my truck functional but it being a farm truck anyway, would like to keep the costs to a minimum. They totally understood this at Si’s, and did quality, beautiful work in a very timely manner and actually came in below the estimate! Friendly, personal service as well from the whole office. I would highly recommend this shop and will return if I need body work in the future.

I went here to get an estimate on my car and they were so nice and helpful. My car ended up being a total loss so we didn’t get work done here but even the first impressions I got from them was amazing.

This shop is a shit shop! They may do great work to your vehicle and it may be in a timely manner. But their customer service is shit. And to me, that matters a lot. I would prefer great customer service and treated like a respectable human being over how fast they can fix my car. Will be telling everyone I know not to go there.

Handled everything. Got my car done a month ahead of schedule. Gave me 25% off for Christmas. The Superman of auto body, they saved the day!

My husbands daughter has been in two accidents and both times we took her car here. I happened to come across them the first time by accident and when I read the reviews didn’t hesitate about taking the car for repair there. From start to finish both times we were treated with nothing but respect and decency were always kept informed. the work that was done was excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anybody they have an outstanding staff and Craig is above and beyond what you would expect!

Bless these guys. Jared was incredibly great to work with. It took some time to order the gate needed for my truck, but that was no surprise and he warned me it could take some time as it’s a rare part. He put me in a nice loaner and kept me updated. Then when it was all over, he wrote me a check telling me I had overpaid. As if that wasn’t enough, they gave me a bag of Lindor Truffles. Swoon. My truck looks better than it did before the accident!

My Ford Ranger Sport truck had its right tail light broken. Normally, I would just get a new light and switch it out. However, it was broken enough that the area it connects to the metal on body was damaged, so I needed auto repair help. I’m a huge fan of Unilocal,and saw Si’s has an average of 5 stars and called them up. Spoke with Jared who had me come in, and after seeing the damage… asked me if I wanted a new or used tail light. A new one was $ 6O, which was fine by me. To fix the back to attach the light was only $ 15. Jared was awesome, and I’m happy. Highly recommend this business!

Excellent experience with Si’s! They were very friendly and they gave us a detailed explanation of what needed to be done. They explained factors that could make the actual bill more than the quoted price however when the work was done it ended up being exactly the price what was quoted.
They provided a nice loaner vehicle (nothing fancy but a decent car that met our needs.) When my wife picked the car up they showed her photos of different phases of the repair. Very cool! The work was done on time and on budget and we were thrilled with the quality of the work! They are a small family owned shop and they take pride in their workmanship and customer service. If we ever need body work or paint services in the future we will definitely use them again!

Wow. Brought my vehicle in and they are all sweethearts! Helped me finish my claim, redid the entirety of the damage and even helped me fix a lil ding that is done myself. These guys are legit. Seriously.

Si’s Auto Body is amazing! I wish I could give these gentlemen 10 stars. From the moment I walked in their door to the moment I drove my repaired car off their lot, I was 100% happy with their services. They were incredibly honest, affordable and had outstanding customer service every step along the way. I would highly recommend them to anyone with auto-​body needs!
The back-​story…
I have a 2006 black Nissan Sentra. Several years ago the bumper got pretty banged up in an accident. It’s completely embarrassing to admit, but we actually drove our car around with the bumper taped to our car. For a couple years. Ugh. First there was the spiffy teal-​colored duct tape, but then we moved up to the classy black Gorilla tape. Let’s be honest about this — the car looked like crap. Fixing the bumper was always one of those projects that we needed/​wanted to do but never found the time or extra money. I was downright ashamed of our car. When I’d go to my client’s homes (something I do regularly for work) I would park about a block away so they wouldn’t see my car!
I recently moved to Portland with my husband and son, and on the drive up here, something flew under my bumper and ripped a portion of it off. OK. Time to get the bumper fixed, no matter the cost. As soon as we got our security deposit back from our old apartment, I visited a couple auto body shops in Portland. It was an easy decision for me to go with Si’s. As I mentioned above, from the moment I walked in their door and was given a quote from Kraig, I felt completely taken care of. When the care was finished, I dealt with Jared who called to let me know my ride was ready for pick up. Jared was professional, very friendly, and even let me come pick up my car a couple minutes after their closing time since I was running late! :)
The last thing I want to mention is that Kraig really listened to my needs, unlike other shops I got quotes from. My car has a couple other minor bangs and scratches that I’m not concerned about. When I told Kraig I just wanted the bumper replaced, in an economical way, he really listened. He gave me a great deal and didn’t try to «sell me» on other repairs that weren’t necessary. As a business owner myself, I know how important it is to listen to customers, so I appreciated this more than I can express!
And did I mention the work they did looks AMAZING and I love my car again?!
As much as I hope I never have auto body work to do again, this is the kind of establishment I wish I could visit regularly because of the outstanding customer service. Cheers to Si’s!

I am very impressed with this body shop. The service is the best, and Jared knows how to treat his customers. My 2013 Subaru Outback was fixed in no time, and it was brought back to looking like brand new. There was a long waiting list to get in (a couple of months) but that is because they are so popular and good. It was worth the wait! I rate this business excellent!

I have never written a review on Unilocal before, but this company deserves my effort. Kraig W., his son and staff from Si’s Auto Body are amazing! Genuine, honest, and thorough! They went the extra mile to get my car repaired within two days! And it looks great! They showed photos of the damage underneath my bumper and explained the process before they started the work. Kraig’s son was also friendly and patient, they fixed my car the day before his wedding!
They even gave me chocolates! I would recommend them to anyone who needs fantastic work and service.

I’m so impressed with the level of service I received from Si’s across the past two months. I was on the receiving end of a hit-​and-​run and decided to use Si’s for my repairs, after reading so many great reviews on Unilocal.It turns out they were all correct, and led me to the right place!
I waited a month to get work done given Si’s long waiting list (because of how great they are, and it’s still a relatively «small shop») and in that time, Kraig made sure everything was squared away with my insurance company. He sat me down and went through the estimate, and told me not to worry about a thing. Once I dropped my car off, I left it for two weeks and returned to find it in perfect condition, and that they’d done a couple extra tweaks for me, as well. Kraig called to check-​in with me along the way to update me on my car’s progress, then upon picking up my car also gifted me with a bag of chocolate truffles which closed the deal in the sweetest of ways.
I would recommend Si’s to anybody in Portland. They are honest, thorough and kind.

This place is amazing! Craig and his staff were wonderful to me and my car. It took 2
months to get in to replace my light and front bumper, but that speaks to the quality of work they do. They are in such high demand and it was well worth the wait! They dealt directly with my insurance and my car looks better than when I bought it 5 years ago! I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family.

Well, Kraig and his crew did it again. They took my rear-​ended car and brought it back to like-​new condition. I hope I am not involved in another wreck, but if I am, I’m bringing my car to Si’s. Thank you guys!

I was recently in my 1^st auto collision at the age of 43. Having never been to a body shop & never having to deal with one, I feared the worst.
I was pleasantly surprised! Very nice, very professional. And when they told me they’d call me back «in a couple minutes», THEY DID!
Exemplary work, top shelf customer service… They even brought me to the shop to pick up my car.
If & when body work is needed, they’ve got a customer for life

Very helpful, nice people. They do some nice work, too. I got rear ended and they replaced the bumper and it looks brand new.
Apparently a sign of their quality is their backlog; it took 2 months to get in to the shop. Not really a big deal — car was drivable and bumper was still firmly attached.
Definitely my go-​to body shop and will recommend them to others.

This is where you should get your car fixed in Portland. Period.
Needing to have your car fixed sucks. There’s the whole issue of negotiating fault, dealing with multiple insurance companies, finding extra time and money to deal with it… it sucks. Yet despite that, Si’s almost makes me wish my car was busted more often so I could go back.
Every interaction (phone, email, in person) with these guys is positive and informative. At all stages in the repair process I felt like I was in the loop. They provided a complimentary loaner car for the few days that they were working on mine. And when they returned the car to me, they left chocolate truffles on the passenger seat. Seriously. You can’t make this s#!% up.
More recently, I had a crack in the windshield. Like an idiot, I called Kraig at Si’s to see if they could fix it. Obviously Auto Body shops don’t typically do glasswork, but he referred me to a guy that he trusts and works with when cars require glasswork. This is my new go-​to strategy any time I need anything done to my car. Call Kraig, ask if he can fix it, and if not ask who should.
