We had the privilege of enjoying some hot n amazing breakfast at this place as you get free breakfast coupons from the stay in their motel, the place is generally very clean and servers are just amazing in customer service. We went in to have our breakfast and promptly got seated with coffee reaching our table in minutes. We ordered one order of egg-bacon combo, pan cakes and oatmeal, everything came out pretty quick and the portions were good enough. You do get bottomless coffee refills and servers are flexible enough to accommodate special requests. In short, we really enjoyed the food as well as the service in this location.

0 stars if I could for 0 service after 15 minutes past arrival. Just left after sitting in the lounge for 15 minutes waiting for the bartender to finish his phone conversation while he held his finger up at every customer. One more minute, I’m unable to multi-task. No menus, no waters, no need to do my primary job until I’m done w phone conversation. 1100 on a Saturday and all your customers are put on hold. Oh well, not the first time there w him, he’s at least displays consistancy. Moving along.,

I came into the Shilo inn today because I-5 got shut down and my company set me up with a room at the Shilo inn. I went down to the restaurant where I was greeted very gracefully by a waitress named Brittany. I was seated promptly and got a complimentary glass of house wine. I had two lemon drops and the filet mignon. The food came out promptly and was cooked perfectly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone staying at the Shilo inn.

Ray our server was wonderful and very helpful. Food was very good. The bacon is big and thick and crispy. We will definitely be back.

After waiting for 5 minutes at the entrance to be approached by a hostess to sit me, and viewing her in the corner conversing with a coworker, I made my way to the bar. After another one 5 minutes at the mostly empty bar, the bartender approached me. I ordered a water and asked for a menu. After 10 minutes of waiting, I hailed the bartender(who had not checked on me). He was approached and immediately demanded my ID. Having only ordered a water and being unaware that sitting at a bar in a restaurant with water required identification, I asked why. I was informed in extremely snarky tones that you have to be 21 to sit at the bar. I provided my ID, which the bartender spent 2 full minutes checking(I’m 32). Needless to say my appetite after this treatment ws much diminished. It was readily apparent why this place was mostly deserted.

We have been here many times: traveling, meals, as a convenient place to meet friends. We experienced the free breakfast recently. The restaurant choices were pretty good though ordinary coffee shop fare. We had excellent service! I took advantage of the bar for a drink recently. There is nothing remarkable but it is a decent option if you stay in the hotel. I was at a meeting a few weeks ago and the buffet is adequate for an inexpensive dinner and the service that goes with it is fine.

Hotel is very close to the airport and there is a free shuttle that runs every 30 min from 4am-midnight. They offer a free continental breakfast OR selected breakfast from their restaurant OR a discount on a breakfast of your choice. I didn’t opt for their breakfast but instead went to Sharis diner which is a short walk from the hotel. The hotel room is HUGE! There’s a separate living area from the sleeping area with a table, couch, refrigerator, microwave, &TV. The sleeping area had a TV& the bathroom did too! 3 TVs!!! As for the décor… it’s dated. There’s a bit of a 70s feel to it & could use some updates but it’s mostly cosmetic. Staff was pleasant, bed was comfortable, an overall good place to sleep after a long flight.

We came to Shilo Inn to make it easy to eat and have a dinner cocktail. It was a pleasant surprise for a hotel type restaurant! The Halibut meal with gnocchi was great and plenty for 2 to share. The hotel gave us tickets for wine or beer which made the experience a little more fun!

We chose to stay at Shilo Inn and to eat here because it was so convenient. I was surprised at the décor, old school dining room. But in amazing condition, like stepping back 40 years, retro. The hostess at diner and the waiter in the morning we cordial but not overly friendly, and we were seated in a timely manner. For dinner I had the 10oz prime rib and my husband had the Kobe beef burger. They were both very good. Cooked pretty much to perfection. I’d come back again. For breakfast I had the vegi omelet and hubby had the salmon. Again both were really good. We had coupons from hotel so got $ 3 off of each. Breakfast was only $ 13 after discount… I have to say GREATVALUE and Very Good food. Don’t let the décor discourage you from trying

For lunch one day during a conference, I had the Baja Fish Tacos, which were very good. They had a roasted grape tomato salsa which as something different, and good. For dinner, I enjoyed the mushroom ravioli, very good. We also enjoyed the tempura green beans while waiting, also very good. If you don’t want meat, you’ll experience a similar taste to chicken marsala. So the food for me was consistent during my stay and the atmosphere was relaxed — I think the service and food was much better than some restaurants who«think» they are really great because they might have a more updated décor. Don’t judge a book by its cover might be a good analogy on this one!

I just had a great dinner«bite» at The Shilo Inn. A very quaint, old time supper club feel, dark wood, a piano and warm lighting. It looked to me that all of the servers were spot on but I was fortunate enough to have Dee take good care of me. I was dining alone and ordered four small courses,(although as Dee pointed out, their Happy Hour portions are much the same size as menu priced) and her pacing in bringing my food was perfect! When a server gets busy it is easy to forget the single diner, but not a good server. Go. enjoy the clam chowder and a Caesar salad and ask for Dee.

Very good for breakfast, slightly pricy but reliable. The décor is very nice but it definitely has the«hotel restaurant» vibe. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed our breakfast last weekend(eggs benedict and an egg/sausage/potato thing). The only thing that keeps it from 5 stars is the coffe.

My wife tried to stop by here this past Monday morning for breakfast. We were staying in the hotel and she was trying to use her breakfast coupon for one of the complimentary hot breakfasts. However, after standing round for 10 minutes and getting a rather large line of customers waiting behind her she proceeded to leave. So while she would have liked to given this place a fair shot, it wasn’t to be.

Driving around the airport area trying to look for a decent place to eat my family and I decided to try Shilo Restaurant. The staff there was very accommodating as we felt bad for walking in after 9:30pm and they were closing at 10pm. After the hostess introduced herself, I asked what time they closed and then proceeded to tell her that we had no problem finding another place to grab some food as I know the feeling of wanting to hurry up and close down so you can head home. She was very sweet and said that it was OK for my family to dine in. Our waitress was just as nice and sweet(Chinese/Japanese mix?), she took our order and made sure to check in with us regularly. She wasn’t pushing trying to get us in and out but seemed genuine. My family ordered the American Kobe Beef burger which was pretty good and juicy. I gave these folks five stars as they could have easily turned my family away as they were starting to close down but made us feel welcomed. The burger was pretty good and tasty as well.

Our server Ray was a joy to our family. Very polite and attentive. On our second morning for breakfast he remembered our drink preferences. Usually I comment on food first, however the service was the star of the show here. The food was delicious too mind you. The hash browns were perfectly crisp on top and tender below. The bacon was cooked just right and the eggs were prepared properly. I will come back again. If you are staying at the hotel they offer a great free breakfast selection with coffee too!

Wish I could leave 0 stars. Found a huge piece of metal embedded into the breeding of my fish taco. Photo attached. If I had swallowed it, it would have jacked me up. My company is paying for all my meals here, so no loss or gain when the waitress offered to comp my meal. All of a sudden my forgiving review about the the shabby appearance but fairly good food has turned so so sour… Definitely avoid this place unless you like shards of metal possibly in your food.

This place gets four stars from me not because it’s 4-star quality food(I’ve certainly had better), but because I was shocked that this was a Shilo restaurant. I was staying at the Clarion next door and wanted to grab some dinner. It seemed my walking options were Shari’s or the Shilo Restaurant. Truthfully, I picked the Shilo because I wanted a beer and Shari’s doesn’t have alcohol… I was pleasantly surprised by the menu at the Shilo. It had fancy sounding stuff — not just burgers and fries. I ended up getting the Butternut Squash Ravioli. Not bad! They were big ravioli that actually looked well plated(not just tossed on the plate sloppily). They had a creamy sauce to go with them(couldn’t quite tell what the flavor of the sauce was, but it wasn’t bad) and they were topped with hazelnuts and blue cheese. All in all, not bad for a Shilo Restaurant near the strip. If you’re choosing between the Shilo and Shari’s and you’re looking for something other than fried food and a burger, try the Shilo.
