This place is totally great. I have only gotten Shellac manicures and these people are totally on point for a great price. They also have a crap ton of Shellac color options, a thing I greatly value. Highly recommend!

I love it here so much. They’re so cheap and amazing and get the job done! I moved and came here a while ago and I am so happy I found it. Make sure you make an appointment though because they are busy and don’t usually have many workers (never more than 3) they can usually make appointments within two hours

I almost didn’t let up on the gas based on the outside appearance of this place. But as bad as it looked, my feet looked worse. I’m glad I took a chance on them. Inside isn’t much better than outside — no magazines, super bare bones décor, two-​setting massage chairs — but the polish selection was great, it smelled clean, the staff was very friendly and best of all the pedicure was meticulous.

$ 13 for a manicure? Forget about it! This place is awesome, lots of colors to choose from, very friendly staff. Manicure turned out great, can’t wait to come back for pedi.

Not the best manicure I’ve ever had, but not the worst either. It wouldnt be as bad if i hadn’t paud decent money foe a manicure that looks like I did it myself. In fact, if I had done it myself, I can guarantee it wouldn’t have looked so sloppy.
The young lady that did my gel manicure was very friendly, but very timid with her handling of my nails. She did a poor job of cutting my cuticles, and it looked like she wasn’t able to remove all of my old gel polish before applying the new basecoat. I chose a light yellow color, and she suggested putting a coat of white polish under it to make it brighter. Great idea, but poor execution… she didn’t fully cover the white layer and you can see it along the edges of the yellow. Some of the polish is also uneven, and she missed a few spots along the tips of my nail.

If you’re looking for a really affordable, simple gel manicure this is a solid spot. I called on a Tuesday morning to get in later that day at 6:30. I ended up showing up 30 minutes early and they were able to get me in. Score!
The lady that did my nails was super sweet and talkative, which I enjoyed. The place isn’t terribly fancy but I needed something quick and affordable before a trip. They had a decent selection of colors and the manicure itself was decent, nothing AMAZING but just a decent gel manicure. Unfortunately, the manicure lasted about a week and chipped within a few days whereas I’ve gotten them and they’ve lasted 2 – 3 weeks and that’s why I’m docking off a star.
But, for a $ 18 gel manicure I really can’t complain! I’ll probably go there again if I want something quick and cheap. Overall, I’d recommend it for that reason having only been there once but will most likely update my review if and when I go again.

I am seriously impressed with this salon! In 1 hour and 15 minutes I received a hair cut, acrylic nail fill and gel polish. By far the best nail job I’ve had anywhere in Portland and I’ve had acrylics for the last 4 years! Best part? Total cost was $ 35! Unheard of value! I do recommend making an appointment as there were a ridiculous amount of walk in’s for early on a Friday. Super friendly service was just the cherry on top!

A neighborhood gem that I just discovered today (thanks to Unilocal). Super clean and spacious, really nice staff, great prices, and a terrific mani-​pedi. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but go on in and you’ll probably love it, too. Am delighted that it’s just a short walk from my house. Two well-​manicured thumbs up from me!

Came in for a pedi today and was most pleased. Everyone is super nice and the place is very clean and relaxed. No TV blaring nonsense. The prices are wonderful too! This is definitely my new go to spot.

I love this place! For the past three years, this has been my go-​to for manicures, pedicures, and minor waxing.
The women are so friendly here and the place is clean. Even though they don’t require an appointment, I highly recommend setting one. They have been known to get really busy without notice.
Overall, I believe this is the best deal in Portland.

Went out on a limb on trying out a new place but so happy I did!!! My sis got the whirlpool pedi and gel manicure and I just got the pedi. They’re super nice, they take their time and the massage is awesome! I literally passed out while getting my pedi; it was that relaxing. We’re definitely going to become frequent customers. Oh and the prices aren’t bad either.

These ladies always do an awesome job when I’m in need of a mani/​pedi. They are super friendly. Cant beat their prices! $ 18 for a shellac manicure with some added details (regular shellac manicure is only $ 15). They were a little busy when I came in so I had to wait about 20 – 30 minutes but I didn’t mind it at all.

Clean salon, great color choices, and an impeccable job! I got a mani and pedi. Both women that worked on me, did a fantastic job! I will be coming back for sure!

I love this nail salon. The ladies here are so sweet and do the best pedicures. They actually use foot files here instead of just the exfoliating scrubber. They also do a bit of massage on your feet and legs.
Good prices, decent polish color selection, nice spa chairs.
It feels clean and hygienic here too– I guess it’s hard to know for certain, but it really seems like they do a good job keeping it hygienic here.

They are so sweet and so good at what they do! I got a pedicure with gel polish and a full set of almond shaped «pointy» nails with gel polish. It took a while, but they were willing to take the time to make sure they turned out perfect!

Second time I’ve been here and I’m still blown away. I brought a friend in, and she felt the same. I called in at the last minute and they fit us in within the hour.
I had the same lady as I did the last time I was here. She remembered everything about me! She remembered my name, the color I chose, my job and the way I like my cuticles cut. Whoa. My last appointment was over a month ago. This place is steadily busy but they still take the time to remember you and give you a great experience.
I’m in a strange spot, living in a town for only a few months. It’s so comforting to go to a place that knows your name and appreciates your business so much.
My friend reported that this was the best foot massage she’s ever had. She couldn’t believe how detail orientated they were with the painting and the over all experience.
The color choice is great & the ladies give excellent feedback about what colors are in style. Don’t judge a book by its cover, the store froth isn’t the nicest, but trust my review. You won’t be disappointed!!!

I just had an awesome experience here! My coworker recommended the place and my gel mani was getting to where I was picking it off so we decided to make the trip a decent way out of our way to come to this place she raves about after one visit.
We called ahead to let them know we were coming for two mani pedis. It was a week night close to closing so it wasn’t busy at all. My coworker had her nails done by the same person as the other time she had been and she remembered all the details of my coworker’s life story! Amazing! Not to mention I had the BEST foot massage of my life!
They really take their time and do good work. They even went back with little brushes to get any polish off of the skin. My coworker’s gel before this time lasted 2.5 weeks. The one I got elsewhere hardly made it a week as was much more expensive. They also take great care to get your flip flops on without messing anything up and not expecting you to walk around barefoot at the place I tried before here!
Definitely going back!

I originally came here for pedicures a few times last year, and the friendly staff and quality, affordable services matched the positive Unilocal reviews.
However, I came back for the first time in several months, and this time a new woman worked on my pedicure and manicure. I arrived at 11:20, and eventually had to leave at 1:30 with my fingernails still not completely dry.
The woman had a nice attitude, but she really didn’t seem to know what she was doing. Similar to Irina P’s description, my nail polish didn’t reach to the edge of my toe and fingernails. The layers were chunky and gloopy and subsequently chipped quickly. She kept dragging little «hairs» from the cotton swabs through the paint on my nails and then into my bottle of polish, and I had to politely point them out.
She re-​did one really botched nail, and I wish I’d had the backbone to ask her to fix all of them, but unfortunately I didn’t, and I didn’t have any more time, either.
The one other nail technician seemed to be working on a very nice looking custom French manicure job. I felt a twinge of jealousy; I’d much rather have had her work on my nails. She did a great job for me last summer.
Meanwhile, the owner just sat behind the front desk and read a book.
Two hours+ for a mediocre mani/​pedi polish job? Not a luxury I can afford to repeat for a long, long time…

I feel really bad being the downer here among such great reviews. Let’s start with the good: I was seen right away. I called ahead amd made an appointment after work at 5:30 to get my old gel polish removed and to get a gel polish manicure. I picked my color, and got the removal process started. I asked if she had time to also do a pedicure and she had me soaking my feet in no time. So the old gel polish was removed, I then got my feet pampered, and it felt great. I almost fell asleep, as she was taking her time, and it was really relaxing.
Lets continue on with the bad: I didn’t look at my toes until after she put the polish on, which she seemed to really took her time with, but it looked a bit lumpy, and uneven, not a smooth coat. (I later inspected them at home, and she did not pain the polish all the way to the edges of my toe nails, especially in the big toenails, it looked like just painted the centers).
So now its an hour later, 6:30, and she is just starting on my manicure with the gel nailpolish base coat. After I cure the first coat, I look at my nails, and notice that the base coat does not cover my whole nail, only the center parts, and the edges are bare, (As far as I know with the gel polish base and top coat, its pretty important to get it right because it seals in you polish and makes it last long and not peel off) so I mention that to her, and she puts another coat on, this time fully covering the nail. (She is really taking her time though and really seems to be trying, but it seemed like she just doesn’t know how to paint nails)
The rest of the coats are a bit disastrous as well, she either paints it all over my cuticles and finger, or barely covers the full nail. I had to have her fix a couple nails that had the hardened gel polish all up the side of my finger. As shes finishing up its an hour later, so 7:30, and they close at 7. I am the last one there, and I have to go. Unfortunately the polish on my left hand is all over my cuticles and sides of my finger, and not as dark as my right hand, but at this point I have to leave.
I am not certain as to what the lady’s name was, but she’s older, with glasses, and said she was the sister-​in-​law of the owner. She was very nice, and I could tell she was really trying but she just does not know how to paint nails. I tried to clean up my the gel polish off my cuticles and fingers when I got home, but the polish just started peeling off my nails.
