I wanted to love this place, but it fell short on two counts: 1. I got the taco salad and the actual taco shell was super stale. They did heat it up on the grill, but even so, it was not crunchy at all… I eat pretty much everything, but had to leave the shell behind. 2. They don’t do GoBox, which is a disappointment, since I try to stay as green as possible when eating out. On the plus side, the salad was huge and everything but the shell tasted fresh and flavorful. Perhaps try something else on the menu or come back on a day when the shells are more fresh?

So delicious. This is definitely some of the best Mexican food in Portland.

The last time I had INCREDIBLE Mexican food was in Ensenada, Mexico. I was simply amazed at the quality and freshness of the food. Customer service is excellent. Needless to say I circled the block twice just to get a picture so I can post my review and their location on my FB. Simply astonished!!! Monica

The underdog of the food cart scene. I work downtown and while everyone waits ungodly amounts of time at the 10th& Alder food carts(I love me some Whole Bowl), but when you can wait, just walk a few blocks to 12th& Yamhill and walk up to the window, place your order, and get your food in a matter of a couple of minutes. GOODMEXICANFOOD! On par if not better than the other Mexican food carts in the area. I recommend the $ 1.50 Chicken Tacos… and get them spicy. Next time you’re in a hurry for lunch, head over to this place!

Yes I do not know what the other negative reviews are talking about, this is best Mexican food I have ever tasted and it is authentic . I agree that their enchiladas are unbelievable, their burritos are authentic Mexican style and so are their carne asada tacos, and for such a low price, its incredible, since me and my friend discovered this place, first I would stop here each time I d’ come to this part of town. Then recently. we have been coming here at least once a week. The food is unbelievably fresh, prices are really good, and the people are so nice and friendly, try their Enchiladas, so yummy and at such a great price! I will keep coming back and eat here every week!

Their carne asada tacos are not completely authentic, they have sour cream and hot sauce on it, and they’re not up to socal standards, but for Portland, they’re pretty darn good. Definitely one of the better carne asada’s I’ve had in the area. I didn’t get to try anything else on the menu… yet… will have to go back. My wife was not impressed with the veggie taco.

Best enchilada’s I can find for down town. $ 5 for enchilada’s pinto beans and rice. I ask for todo ‘everything’. Smothered in more enchilada sauce and mexican crema. Family owned. Stopped by at noon and it was nice and busy. Lots of people were getting the burritos. There is no amazing mexican food downtown but if I had a craving this is my first choice if I have cash cause they don’t take debit cards :(

Gross food. Please stop eating at these sub standard carts! Make them go away! Meats are dry and taste funny, quesadillas come with the sourcream on the inside(yuck!) and the cilantro tastes week-old. Tacos flavorless. Will NOT be returning…

Right next to the two Indian cart sits this small Mexican cart. I ordered three tacos($ 1.50 each): carnitas, asado and pastor. The corn tortillas are cooked slightly crispy and covered in tomatoes and guacamole. I happened to eat them in order from best to worst. I believe the first one was the asado taco, which was pretty good. The others were kind of bad: pork was way, way waaaaay to dry and the tomatoe-y sauce in the other was pretty gross. Maybe their burritos are good. A guy at the window loved their enchiladas, so maybe I should have listened.
