Ring of Time

Seeing a giant ring is just not what it used to be. The Lord of the Rings and the Olympics take the punch out of it. Still, this huge ring at the bottom of an office building manages to be thrilling.
There is more to this art than only what can be seen moving by. It has twists and turns with large etchings. Although this is artificial, the random aspect of geology is skillfully imitated. You’ll likely have to stand up to observe this.
A treasure would soundly describe this.

Hilda Morris’s Ring of Time was made in 1967 according to the attached sign made of bronze, it was made to feel like a relic with breaks in the shape of the circle bent and misshapen like it had rusted away in places. It looks extremely weathered or perhaps like it spent a few centuries berried underground. It is a modern sculpture but the name fits it, it looks like it has existed for ever and the round shape has no beginning or end.
