Reliable and responsive customer service, but pushed an inferior used plotter on us that resulted in bi-​monthly or more service visits and stress around deadlines due to its unreliability.
When Precision would not replace this problematic plotter due to it being under contract, we found a substantially less expensive plotter option with a different company and went with it. The staff member who dealt with the ending of our contract was unprofessional and retaliatory. The staff member acted immaturely in her phone communication — she was personally offended and combative with her tone and language — like we were breaking off a romantic relationship. Furthermore, she had the plotter pulled from our office the day after we let them know we did not want to renew our lease, instead of allowing for a transition period.
I would rate Precision Images 4 stars overall based on my experience with them of almost 8 years if this staff member would have simply acted like a civilized adult in coping with the real world scenario of losing a customer because another company offered a plotter at a price point that saves my firm many hundreds to a few thousand dollars a year.
Precision: When you inevitably lose another customer, either counter offer with reliable equipment at a competitive price or get over it. It’s called capitalism and consumer freedom. There was no reason to act like this was a high school breakup. Grow up.
