Portland Support Computer Repair

I woke up this morning to a computer that would not power up. I determined that it had to be either the Power Supply or the Motherboard, but had no way to make a final determination of which one. I drove into SE Portland and went to the local non-​profit for assistance, but they offered little help and had no real way to determine exactly where my problem was, or any real desire to offer any technical support. On my way back to the West Side I found Portland Support Computer Repair, and soon all my immediate computer problems were a thing of the past. They tested my Power Supply and determined that it had indeed failed. They made no attempt to sell me a new computer or even hundreds of dollars worth of computer service and repair. I was given information on where I might find a replacement Power Supply on-​line for an ancient computer (just over ten years old) system like mine. I then asked them if they didn’t sell Power Supplies, and was told they might have one, but it may not have enough connections for all the peripherals, at which point they got out the potential new Power Supply for my system, together we counted the connectors, and found there were indeed enough. I bought the Power Supply for what I thought was a reasonable price, took it home, installed it, and I am now writing this review on that very same, working yet again, computer system.

Thanks to Grant, I can now use my computer without the annoying malware that was making my life miserable. It was a pernicious problem and it took a couple of tries to get rid of it, but Grant did not give up on me. Turnaround time was good also. Definitely recommend this company.

Last week, I had a very sick laptop that was getting slower and having intermittent operational problems. I took my laptop in & Grant had it back to me in 2 days running like new. He also provided some tips to help keep it in better running order.
A few weeks earlier my wife got a DVD jammed into her desktop drive. They took her computer apart on the spot, got the DVD back, and everything back to working order.
Very fair pricing. I highly recommend these guys for SW and HW issues.
