Portland Picture Frame

I love this place! I dropped off a picture to be framed and they did a fantastic job. Great price and the final product is fantastic.
But, it gets better. My husband and I have been looking for a large artistic print for our family room. I saw a great picture of Cannon Beach Haystack Rock hanging up at their shop. For many reasons, she indicated it was for sale. We decided to make the purchase yesterday and they even gave us a discount. When we took it outside we realized it was too big to fit into our wagon. The owner of PPF immediately offered to help and got our picture safely to our home.
They truly went above and beyond and they will be getting all my picture framing business in the future!

These women rule! If you know exactly what you want, they’ll take care of you. If you don’t know what you want, let them come up with ideas for you. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve had a few pieces framed here and I love them all! It doesn’t hurt that there’s an adorable Pug in the lobby just waiting for you to pet him either…

Besides being greeted by two cute pugs most times I visit, the staff here are so kind and thoughtful in helping one frame your art. There is always a groupon, amazon deal or check your Sellwood Bee for discount coupons. They are very good at staying within your budget. I like they always provide the hanging materials taped to the back of the frame.

Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere. They scratched the crap out of my art, framed it in the wrong glass and rather than apologize and offer to replace or fix it, she said she «just wasn’t feeling good that day, she’s never scratched people’s art before». After much argument they finally offered to replace the piece. The same size print wasn’t available so she told me, «i“d actually be getting a bigger frame than I paid for»…obviously the print I had was the size I wanted. This place was a serious disappointment.

I have taken two different groups of various kinds of photos/​artwork to this lovely place. A total of about 12 different items. Staff is very helpful and they really know how to help you pick out the right kind of frame (wood, metal and colors)! The time frame I was given to get the work done and ready for pick up has been spot on and the finish product always flawless. It is nice to still be able to use a local and no chain big corp business these days!

This locally-​owned business is great: from the regal pug who welcomes you when you walk in the front door, to the service level and expertise of the staff, to the final product!
I had a numbered print that I wanted to get rematted/​framed for my bf for Christmas, as well as a new, somewhat-​similar print, matted/​framed to match our office. I was nervous, as his print means a lot to him and I had taken a bit of a leap in assuming he’d be ok with my rework : – ).
I also wanted to specifically match the color of paint on an accent wall of our office. Terre was great: we combed through the color samples until we found the perfect color match and then coordinated that against just the right color frames.
Long story short: picked them up. They were perfectly matted/​framed. When my bf unwrapped his gifts, he literally «Oh, WOW”-ed, grinned ear to ear, and said I «got him.»
Already plotting his birthday gift… which will include something from Portland Picture Frame ; – ).

I have several thousand dollars worth of serious artwork which has been BEAUTIFULLY, professionally and archivally framed by Portland Picture Frame. I would trust Terre with any piece, of any value, and I exclusively have over the years. PPF has framed over 20 pieces of mine, enhancing the beauty of all of my paintings, lithographs, and photographs. I would utterly disregard the previous negative review as simply uneducated. You can trust Portland Picture Frame on multiple levels: exceptional quality, but also the rare blessing of the eye and acumen of a talented artist herself. PPF is fabulous.
