Portland Movers Company

The movers who came were awesome, friendly, quick, no problems there.
The only negatives — they didn’t come with tape, plastic wrap, or even knives. They left having used all our tape, plastic wrap, and didn’t remember to return our knife.

This is a company of liars and thieves. Do not trust them. I used them to move one block, from one building in my apartment complex to another two years ago. Apparently it was taking longer than they had anticipated and they told me they had to run out to Beaverton real quick to assist another client. I’m downtown. They returned hours later and finished. That’s when I noticed numerous boxes, lamps etc. missing. They said «oh gosh sorry we left our dolly unattended in the lobby or sidewalk». I can’t believe I naively bought this load of crap story. My insurance attorney is still going after them for my deductible. Thousand of dollars worth of my stuff gone. Much of it irreplaceable. Now they claim they never said they left anything unattended. BS! I have a police report stating all this! DO NOT USE!
The one star used is only a joke.

Planned a move and that’s always stressful. But these guys were great! They came on time and loaded and unloaded the truck in record time. Booking the service and setting up the details was taken care of in a few emails.
The two men that came put down mats so nothing was tracked in and out of the respective homes. Nothing damaged, positive attitude and smiling faces made a tough day much easier. And when time to pay came, they not only finished early, but under budget. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone considering a move.

The guys were about an hour late but they called to advise they were running behind. They got right to work and everything went very smoothly and efficiently. They did a fantastic job! They wrapped the items and put blankets on them to protect them. When they arrived at the storage place, they stacked it all very neatly and efficiently. Can’t say enough about the great job that they did. Very strong and hard workers!

Hired them just to pack as I unfortunately already hired movers and decided last minute to hire packers too. Christian and his crew were phenomenal! Did an excellent job, were very fast, and super nice and personable. Very reasonably priced, and worth every cent! Wish these guys were doing my move too. Very highly recommend these guys!

Four young men showed up on time and did a great job of moving me into my home. After a long a stressful move, it was such a welcome relief to finally be in the hands of professionals. They didn’t scratch or damage a single item. I highly recommend them.

We had just a wonderful experience with these guys, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Mike and Ed turned up right on time, and worked quickly and carefully. The customer service at the office was great too — they were a mover down on the day we moved, they were informative and worked diligently to ensure that we were moved in good time and kept us updated. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending these guys, and we will certainly be using them again.

The only reason that I am giving this company ONE star is that Unilocal will not allow me to give a grade of ZERO.
I called and left an informative voice mail requesting service. After 24 hours without a response, I called again. I spoke to a gentleman who placed me on hold for a prolonged period of time. He finally returned to the phone and said «Yes, we have your voice mail from yesterday and we will return your call before the end of the business day»
Two weeks later, and still not a word from them.
A company best avoided.

Christian and his crew helped move our company to a new location. He organized a small army of movers and they stayed until the job was done. It was a long day and we couldn’t have made our deadline without Portland Movers Company.

The movers we were planning to load our rental truck didn’t show up. We called Hire a Helper and Christian from Portland Movers agreed to come help us, even though it was a last minute request, and on a Saturday afternoon. These guys were amazing and went out of their way to pack and load the right way! Christian is a true professional and knows how to safely pack and prepare items for the truck. These two worked tirelessly and not one minute of their time was wasted. Using straps, plastic wrap and blankets, they kept everything safe. At the other end, not a single item was broken or damaged! These guys are the best and well worth what we paid them!

I needed someone in less than 24 hours and they where there for me. I had my house mostly packed but needed help moving everything into the rental moving truck. The crew was great. Very polite and hard working. I was originally just looking for muscle and planed to organize the packing of the truck myself but it was clear that they were true professionals and I mostly stayed out of the way. The packing of that truck was a work of art and very secure. Thanks guys!

Great job. Fast and efficient. Nice guys. Great communication before the move. Showed up on time and got the move done within the estimated time. Would highly recommend and use again for sure!

Christian had the most competitive rates of all the places we called. He was very careful with our furniture. He came on time and took longer than the original estimate but only charged us the estimate. We also had him pick up a bed on a separate occasion and he went out of his way to do it the same day. It was a pleasure working with him and we plan on using his company again.
