Portland Animal Welfare Team – PAW Team

The Portland Animal Welfare Team is an exceptional community organization, providing veterinary care to those pets of the homeless or living in extreme poverty. I personally volunteered for several years with them and served on their board. They provide services to a population that otherwise has few options when veterinary care is needed for their beloved pets. All veterinary care is provided by volunteer doctors, technicians and other team members with a plethora of other volunteers helping support all the services that PAW Team provides. They do so much with so little with their resources so easily exhausted but so much hearth and passion to help keep families together. These pets are often a motivation to help their owners through a tough time and onto better things, keeping them healthy and supported makes a tremendous difference in the lives of all those involved.
