Great customer service and great haircuts. Beautiful building. I never received service this good at any barber shop. The barbers are very clean. Everyone is constantly washing their hands and keeping their stations clean. Another good thing is there prices. Everything is reasonable and in range. They even do great kids haircuts.

While visiting Portland I found myself in need of a haircut. Looking on Unilocal I found Platinum Fades, I was A little leary at first about going to a barbershop I knew nothing about. I decided to give a try, so I call them up a made appointment with the owner Sherman. Let me tell you I was not disappointed; the haircut was on point, the shop was large, clean and well organized. I recommend this barbershop to anyone who is looking for a quality haircut with Platinum Service.

Was referred to by someone I know since I decided to leave previous barber due to not respecting appointment times by being late 30 – 45 minutes on a regular basis. I’m glad I made the decision to switch because I no longer have that issue.

This place is legit. Straight up barber shop. Place is nice, clean and not run down like some shops. They take warm towel after your cut and get that loose hair off so you are ready to go and shine. You want a great cut at a good rate, then this is your spot.

Decided to give this place a try, for some reason I didn’t feel like going to my usual barbershop. The guy who put me in his chair said after my haircut, he promises I won’t go anywhere else to get my hair cut. I was thinking «Yeah, whatever» but he was right. I am definitely glad I decided to drop by.
Gotta give them props for having newer looking barber chairs. The other place I go to has worn out chairs… worn out so bad that some of them even lean to the side a little bit. Also they accept credit cards, which most black barbershops don’t do.
You know how it’s annoying when after you get your haircut you need to take another shower to get rid of all the extra hair trimming? Or there is trimmed hair that may have fallen into your shirt collar? Well the barber who founded this place hates that too, so after he cuts your hair he washes and shampoos your hair so you won’t have this problem. He then puts some hair product on it and blow dries it. He also stuffs a towel around the back of your neck so no hair trimmings fall into your shirt collar.
He also does your edge up with straight edge razor, which takes more time but is WELL worth it. You feel like a million bucks when you walk out of there, and you can tell the barbers want to make sure they get your haircut JUST right. All this for the same price I was paying at Geneva’s. Even my wife commented on how nice my haircut was. This will be my place from now on!
