The employees are super nice. Decent selection of beer and wine for a corner store — better stocked than milk and other necessities. Not so decent people hanging out in the parking lot. I dont like feeling like I have to run from the store to my car when it’s late at night and I’m alone, but when you run out of alcohol on a weekend night sometimes Plaid Pantry just called you from afar

I give this mediocre review not because of a problem with this location or any of the employees I’ve encountered here, they have all been very nice. Rather, I have to protest Plaid Pantry’s general practice of only posting prices for a few beers on sale while the vast majority of prices remain a mystery. So unless you happen to want one of the sale beers, prepare to pay above an market price of $ 10.49 for a six pack that would typically be around 7 or 8 bucks. It matters Plaid Pantry! Just list the prices like every other market!

One a those stores on my bike route; usually runs in for snacks, maybe a beer or a sandwich on the way home. What makes me give it 5 stars are the workers here, really nice, cool people!

After living in an area with no 24 hour convenience stores the Plaid is a great relief. Late night snacks combined with cheap prices and a close proximity make this location amazing. This store seems quieter than most and the staff are friendly(they say hi)

It’s a Plaid Pantry. You know, the store that really has nothing plaid about it, but, like a pantry, is full of food and drinks and stuff. It’s a convenience store that scores higher on my scale than, say, a 7 – 11, but not as good as a little neighborhood market that might endeavor to stock some Kettle chips, niche beers, decent wine, etc(Taylor Ct. Grocery, I’m looking at you). It’s merely a step up from a Sevvies. That said, Plaid Pantry stores always come through in a pinch. Whether it’s a pack of gum, bag of chips, cold sixer of Modelo, some Rolaids(after all that gum, chips and Modelo, brother is gonna need some Rolaids), or whatever, they’ve got it. Plus, when I rolled into this store, the dude was rocking out to some sweet –core music. Not sure if it was metal-core, death-core, hard-core, hair-core, or what. Whatever it was, it was annihilating my ear-core in a good(or at least A-OK) kind of way. Plus, if you need a copy of Busted, the newspaper that chronicles people that got busted in Multnomah county, you can get yours here. On a side note, I always have to wonder why people buy Busted. I guess it’s like watching Cops, but in newspaper form. Or maybe people use it like a newspaper version of convict-Facebook, to see what their old friends and high-school chums are up to these days(doing 5 to 10 maybe?). Who knows? I’ve been tempted to purchase one myself from time to time, if merely for curiosity and schadenfreude’s sake. Regardless, you can get it here. Overall, a good Plaid. I can dig it.

There’s not much to say about a Plaid Pantry, but the PEOPLE who work at this location are FANTASTIC and will put a smile on everyone’s face. Tyler, the manager, is a great guy with a positive attitude and he’ll make your day if he’s working. Great sense of humor, too. Amy is the BOMB! She will put a smile on your face no matter what mood you’re in. Just the nicest person around and always chipper and funny. You guys rock, and make stopping by YOUR Plaid a pleasure!
