Usually like the food and service but apparently when it’s busy the customer service is out the door. Midway through ordering they picked up the phone and started talking to the person on the phone as I was ordering. While I was ordering they forgot to enter in my salad which was my dinner my kids got pizza. When the salad never arrived and I informed them that they had forgotten. they told me I never ordered it. As I order a salad to go they picked up the phone again to answer a customers call. They were all too happy to take my order again. I gave two stars because I think I might be upset that I forgot the salad there as I chased my kids out of the restaurant. I will definitely try again and tell them in person of my post.

Not only is the food fabulous I want to give a shout out to the staff. My car broke down across the street on Division. I didn’t have my cell phone to get towed on Wed about 6 before thanksgiving. I used a cell phone, stayed warm while they closed then they brought gas, tried to jump it and then waited with me for another hour until towing arrived. They went far beyond customer service. I am so thankful for their compassion and kindness. L

I love this place! I’ve eaten here once and used their catering services twice, and both the food and service was great! I’ve tried both their pepperoni and cheese & mushroom pizzas and both were really good. I also tried their pear and arugula salad, and LOVE it. Flavors meld so well together. As far as their catering services, Jessica and Brie were fantastic to work with. Both orders were exactly what I ordered and delivery was right on time. I would highly recommend using them, if you are looking to cater an event. I will definitely be back the next time I’m over in that part of town(and craving pizza).

They charge $ 22.25 for a medium pizza?!? It better make me have multiple orgasms. My fiancée called in an order for two pizzas, a salad and breadsticks. When I arrived they only had one pizza and salad and breadsticks – yet it was still over $ 30. They apologized but it was absolutely their mistake… so…I expected a bit more than a few stamps on my «buy 12 overpriced pizzas, get the 13th free» card. When all was said and done I wondered why I would buy pretty good pizza for double the price of pretty good pizza from everywhere else in town. We all know pizza is a high margin item. Pizzicato is just gouging people. At least it tastes good. So 2 stars instead of 1.

A great option if you’re near-by and looking for tasty, modern pizza. Fantastic for vegetarians also, I imagine. I initially ordered delivery from Pizzacato one day out of frustration that Hot Lips had stopped serving their unique cheeseburger pizza. Pizzacato said they’re try it, and they did, to our surprise. It was different, but my partner enjoyed it about as much as the other version so we were happy we chose this place. We don’t live far from the location on Division but hardly find ourselves there often since it’s in the middle of a long residential stretch. Coming in for lunch has its rewards. The lunch special is a good deal, though I’d stop short of calling it cheap. Portions are ample and the quality is there. One can choose from any salad the restaurant makes for their«side» salad. Any pizza can be sliced or made fresh and sliced to order. Plus, a refillable soft drink. The pizza is pretty good and though my partner prefers plain pepperoni, I prefer the veggie options here. The puttanesca in particular seems to satisfy my craving for fresh, balanced flavor. The salads are impressive for their size, the array of options, and the complexity — this isn’t just your garden and Caesar. The place is modern and airy, open and comfortable, with seating indoors and out. I have very few critiques of pizzacato. I understand it is a fast-food option, or casual-fast, but I thought they could have done less to accentuate this fact when it takes a short while to get one’s food. I’ve been able to do it, but I suspect if I’d been on a lunch break, I would not have. Not really sure… Worth it, of course. And the ingredients are fresh. Food is brought to you, which is nice. Although the food is high-quality, it isn’t really unique or ground-breaking, not that it must be. It reminds me a bit of a couple of other modern pizza chains, including the first, CPK. I haven’t been to any other locations of pizzacato, but I suspect they are franchised. For the money, I enjoyed the ambiance and the quality of offerings. I’d go back in a minute.

For a business that has multiple locations, Pizzicato is pretty good and consistent across the board. If I just need a quick pizza craving fix then I would go grab a slice of pepperoni. There 10″ is affordable, about $ 12.50, and could feed two people. I like the pear arugula and caesar salad – very garlicky in a great way. They made a satisfying portobello and arugula panini, I don’t even miss not having meat. Service is friendly and fast. They will deliver in the evening time.

I ventured into this established no more than two days ago. The pizza was absolutely delicious. But at a restaurant like this, flavor is just a fragment of success. One of my close friends spilled her water all over the floor. She was embarrassed but it’s happened to everyone right? No big deal, it’s a simple cleanup. The employees saw the spill and did nothing to help. I was cleaning up with napkins while I waited to get something more absorbent, but it never came. I guess that was a poor expectation on my part. So I went up to one of the servers and asked him for a towel. He looked at me and gave me no response whatsoever. He just walked away. I was actually somewhat shocked by this. I just stood there feeling curious and he came back with a towel, looked at me and threw the towel on the ground, just staring at me, waiting for me to get on my hands and knees and start cleaning. I would have been perfectly happy to clean up the mess, but his attitude was just so appalling. We cleaned it up, but I hope the managerial staff at Pizzicato is going to do some evaluations.

Best Vegan pizza we’ve ever had(Eric’s Thai). The Thai sauce explodes in your mouth and the crust is super light and airy… just plain delicious!

I used to like this place, but this is the third time I’ve come here when«we’re out of stout». This is my last visit. I’m finished with this crappy place! :-( Plus, now it is apparent, the service is slooooooow. Spare YOURSELVES The misery. There Are A Million Places To Get pizza. No need to stop here. Not coming back here. Ever.

I haven’t hopped on the Pizzicato bandwagon ever, despite a growing presence throughout Portland and now northern California(whoa!). There might be some subtle bias with being around New York pizza so often, but when there is fresh ingredients, thin slices and a good variety of toppings, one will ultimately find something they like here. The pizzas might be the star of the show, though I’ve yet to fall in love with any of them. Many folks have touted the Puttanesca($ 26 Large) as their favorite, but the artichokes and olives haven’t tasted as wonderful as they look. I also have similar results from the Molto Carne($ 26 Large), which featured a hearty portion of pepperoni, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, and olives, but was largely bland for every bite. There was some high hopes with the Kale and Italian Sausage($ 27 Large), but the flavors just weren’t potent enough to elicit much fanfare on my end. That said, I’m glad they offer an interesting mix of topping combos, including a nice array of vegan options as well. Salads and paninis have been a different story however. At a little over $ 8 each, the paninis are served in a fluffy ciabatta bread that works as the perfect lunch when served fresh. The Grinder(ham, pepperoni, bacon, provolone, peppers) gets a thumbs up, as does the The Club(chicken, bacon, avocado, ripe tomato, mayo, provolone). When they come with a side salad, the Arugula Pear and Kale Feta have easily emerged as standouts from the rest of the leafy pack. The staff is understandably young, even if a bit hipster, but super friendly. While they haven’t been as spot on as I had hoped for the pizza recommendations, they’ve certainly made up for it with stellar work and infectious amiability. This aspect alone is enough to warrant many return visits.

Good environment and customer service. The panini and salads are tasty. The pizza is still growing on me. Amen for being convenient to the house.

I know, I know, there are lots of ‘hot’ pizza places in Portland. Pizzicato has been around forever, and it’s definitely nostalgia food for me. Pizzicato has stood the test of time, and honestly, the puttanesca never disappoints.

Love their kale salad! Love their Caesar salad. I’m a thin crust kinda gal so this is one of my favorite pizza places. Employees are always cheerful. The genuine kind of cheerful. The formaggi sausage mushroom is ridiculous.

These guys(and girls) never let us down. Fantastic customer service. On my most recent visit, I realized 10 minutes after ordering that I forgot my coupon. Without any question my bill was adjusted by $ 12. If I ever have a concern about your order, even if it’s my fault, they make it right. No to mention, the pizza is always bomb. Tip– sign up for email list and get the above mentioned monthly coupon.

I’m a big fan of Pizzacato. This location does it right. I’ve been in a few times for lunch and once for a late dinner before a movie. I like the great selection pf pies, plus a tremendous salad menu. The lunch deal is hard to beat. $ 7.50 gets you a slice, a salad, and a drink. A great value for me. The puttenesca is my favorite pizza in Portland. A Greek style pie with an olive oil base. Service is attentive, and the one time there was a mistake and the pizza I ordered wasn’t looking too good, they apologized and replaced it immediately and then gave me an extra slice just for my trouble. That’s going above and beyond for the customer and showing you really care. I also appreciate the overall cleanliness of the bathrooms and the tables, always a big factor in my reviews. Only sticking point would be the self busing of the tables. I’m glad to take my own dishes away, but when the bins overfill with old food, dirty dishes, etc., it can look really messy and unappealing. Negatives? Only tough thing is arriving at lunchtime, when it’s difficult to get in and out because of the small location and a long line, and parking can be tricky. Great neighborhood pizza joint that does Portland proud. Stop by and try!

Great staff, good pizza. My complaint is the salads– pricey yet not ver good– sometimes just a box o’ greens. Every time I buy one I’m disappointed, and swear i wont do it again, but the place is convenient, and my son loves pizza.

I try to go a few times a month. The pizza is of exceptional quality, best when accompanied with their arugula pear salad. Customer service is always on point and perfect. Also, grab their punch cards. You can get a gigantic salad for free after you buy so many. Same with slices, whole pizzas and paninis.

I’m not a regular consumer of Pizzacato pizza but I really like their Chinese Chop Salad. I had one of those the other day and a Margerita pizza. The salad wasn’t chopped very well but the flavor was good(I love the wasabi dressing!). A long time ago(or maybe it’s this location?) it was chopped more like coleslaw. Now, some of the cabbage pieces are in big chunks. The Margerita pizza was ok — the tomatoes were flavorless but I grow my own so I have high standards. Overall, the experience/food was pretty a-ok by me.

Had slices at another Pizzicato location and liked them so picked up 2 large pies here to take to a party. Our pizzas basically replaced the party’s other food options like giant battleships cruising through a bunch of rowboats. About the only negatives: Was real busy(they handled our order perfectly), and the parking lot is a bit tight(for the area that’s the norm). Bottom line: We and everyone at the restaurant seemed happy with the food and service.

Pizzicato isn’t a bad place to go when you just want a quick bite, especially for lunch time. They have a pizza, salad, and drink special for only $ 7.25. There pizzas are always really good and they have unique options. They have a lot of salad options to choose from, which is great! They also serve some good beer and wine options. I like the atmosphere of the place, kind of rustic looking. When I’m in the mood for a slice, this is probably the most reasonably priced.

I’ve recently gone gluten free and then decided to throw a pizza party for my husband’s birthday. Thankfully my friends are awesome and didn’t mind one of the pies being GF. This was our first experience with Pizzicato and we were not disappointed. Everyone loved the Canadian Bacon & Pineapple pizza(with traditional crust) and the GF Pepperoni was delicious. The GF crust is thin, but tasted like any other thin pizza crust. It had a good chew to it, and the spicy pepperoni helped make the pizza top notch. And thanks to my trusty Chinook Book app I got 216″ pizzas for the price of 1! With their yummy food, free delivery, and close proximity to our place I would definitely order Pizzicato again.

The pizza wasn’t sloppy done like some pizzerias. They have a gluten free alternative, but it only comes in small or medium. The pizza was great but not awesome. I am glad that they have MANY locations for this place. The pizza did stay hot, by the time we got to the motel room it was still warm/hot. I heart artichoke hearts.
