Pick-n-Pull

The first thing you have to do is actually find this place open. Although their website and every other indication is that it closes at six, in reality they close at five whenever they feel like it. This is called «winter hours» but is actually pretty arbitrary. Then you have to get past the unbelievably rude and unnecessarily patronizing people at the front desk. These are some of the most unbelievably unpleasant individuals I’ve ever seen in a retail setting. Finally you have to get past the butchery that is their pricing structure, and then you may actually limp out with something that you need. Their Internet search capability is two decades behind everyone else. Do yourself a favor and go to one of their many competitors around town.

I got to this place at around 5:20pm and the doors were locked even though it says they close at 6:00pm we went in through the exit to ask why they were closed and they were very rude and said that website clearly states they lock the doors 30 minutes early everyday. It cause multiple people some inconvienience as they walked up expecting for it to be open.

Just called to see about a car and a part I was willing to come pull and the girl on the phone, Nikita, was very rude and snappy with my boyfriend on the phone. I actually called back
to get her name because she was so rude and the service was so bad. I won’t be going there for my part or any part in the future.

This place is horrible! We called to have them pick up an old car we didn’t want to deal with selling and the paperwork involved was incredible. The people you speak with in the phone are down in California and very helpful but that is NOT what you get in person at the Portland West store. I mean it’s crazy how a place can employ such idiots. The slug behind the counter was basically unable to complete a sentence let along pick up a phone. She was completely unhelpful and rude. You’d think a business with as much recognition could hire a few people who can keep their head up and smile!!! I wonder when businesses stopping teaching their staff about customer service? When did the customer stop being important? When I asked her to explain something she called me stupid and told me she didn’t have time to further explain. I was shocked. Needless to say I got her name and called corporate but be warned this place is horrible and pretty shady. Don’t expect good service or a pleasant staff.

Seemingly attentive staff, and a large selection of cars to pull from, my friend and I both found what we were looking for. The car mapping is done so you can find what you need fairly quickly. Decent pricing as well.

Scam artists. Online pricing doesn’t match what they charge in store. If you show them on your smartphone they just play stupid.

picker’s heaven… tho it’s such a full lot sometimes things are in close quarters… but i found everything i needed, everyone was friendly, things were organized and where they were listed as being. i was like a kid in a candy shop.
