The place with a horrible name has great food! I still haven’t quite deciphered the reasoning behind the ridiculous name of this place but the food is very solid. I’ve eaten here several times and the food has been great every time, granted I’ve never had the phở here but everything else is on point. My recent new love is vietnamese beef stew. It’s like traditional western beef stew but has all kinds of additional flavors like lemongrass, soooo good. They definitely do it well here, unlike other places I detect a little phở broth in the stew which adds to its decadent richness. You can get it with noodles or with a vietnamese baguette, I personally prefer the baguette route. Chicken curry with rice is also very good, as are the fish sauce wings(not pok pok good, but then again whose are). Also I forget the name but one of my favorite vietnamese appetizers is those tofu skins wrapped around fish/crab/shrimp/whothehellknowswhatelse and deep fried, @phở.com/net.www/phở@ has the best I’ve had anywhere. Service is okay, nothing to write home about. Plus they own a pharmacy next door so you can grab your post-meal tums!

This is our new favorite in SE for Vietnamese. The veggie phở is possibly the best I’ve ever had and the lemongrass tofu is amazing. They bring all your dishes at once, so if you want courses make sure to specify.

I really like this little place, second trip here and everything is still awesome, the sugarcane pork appetizers were amazing, good Phó again. They garnish everything lovely and pay attention to detail. You feel like your in an upscale restaurant with strip mall prices

I came here with a friend for dinner who was visiting Portland and said that this was one of her favorite spots. I got the shrimp phở which was just ok. The broth was pretty good, but it didn’t wow me. My friend got a crêpe with tofu in it that came with dipping sauce and you ate lettuce wrap style, and that was delicious. I was expecting more based on what I’ve heard about Vietnamese food in Portland to be honest!

Food was good, price is a little high, husband’s sandwich didn’t have a lot of meat in it, he was dissatisfied. Don’t think it was that good that we would wanna make a special trip coming back.

I had phở at different restaurant in town but phở here isnt that good like people think. I like the decoration of restaurant and the staffs however i took too long to wait for food. I ordered phở and my mom ordered turmeric noodle and it took 35 minutes waiting for our order to arrive while they only have a few customer at the restaurant. My mom called the server and ask when is her food ready cuz she already waited for half hour. The tumeric noodle wasnt well done cooked so it was so chewy. So disappointed with the food here and the time. Not worthy. The price is expensive than the other phở restaurant around the area

My favorite place to get banh hoi where you can make your own salad rolls with flavorful assorted grilled Vietnamese meats. For about $ 14 – 15 you can get a huge plate that is easily shareable between 2 people and you will both leave satisfied. The plate includes rice paper, veggies, herbs, crunchy fried egg roll dough, banh hoi, and meat of your choice. Then you put that all together in your rice paper, roll, dip in the sauce, and eat! Very fun and delicious!

I had the do it your own spring roll pretty much and it was bomb. They gave you your choice of meat with lots of greens and a little fried crunchy cracker like stick that doesn’t come in other spring rolls. I did not try anything else but the Vietnamese pancake looked huge on the table next to me. The service was good and the place was overall very nice.

My family owns a Vietnamese restaurant in Virginia. This place is very authentic. I like that they have updated their menu since I have been gone!

With phở, it’s simple. It’s all about the broth.(Yes, some of you may want to add a certain pop song in the background) At least that’s the way I see it. The phở here at @Phở was pretty darn tasty. Funny name, good eats. First off the broth was a little bit sweeter than most of the phở I have had in town, so that was unique to me and made the experience that much better. Second, I think there was more meat, veggies and vermicelli noodles than other phở I’ve had. The meat was there right till the bottom of the bowl. But it also was the reason why a small was $ 9.00. Other places around town usually charge $ 7 – 7.50 range. Of course you got your basil, sprouts, lime and jalapenos(of which there were only two and I asked for additional). The meat was plentiful, as I mentioned, and really good. Lots of flavor. The atmosphere was cool and from where I was sitting, I didn’t notice the cool fish tanks, but I thought it was odd that it was attached to a pharmacy right next door. Cool lighting too. Anyways, good food, lots of it, but it can be a bit spendy. Most of the menu items were $ 10 and up. Enjoy.

Unilocal describes 5 stars as «Woohoo! As good as it gets!» Well Unilocal,iMHO — this actually IS as good as it gets. Besides that utterly uh-mazing name, @phở.com brings the best tasting phở to Portland out of their clean and approachable restaurant just short of 82nd on Powell. It is all about the broth. It has that lovely fast of star anise and spice that warms your belly right up. The staff is fantastic and fast. I’m a sucker for servers that remember my order and after coming here for 3 years I finally hit that milestone the other day. «Veggie Phở, Beef Broth». Ain’t nothin’ better I tell you. Their tofu fresh rolls are light, airy and full of crispy flavor. And their noodle bowls are the perfect dish to switch to once the weather warms up. But with phở like this I often find myself saying… «you know, it’s a great day for phở!» A Lot.

I am Vietnamese and I really wanted to not-like this place because of its weird name… But it’s great! My 5 star review is for their bún tht nng ch giò! They did a excellent job of bbq-ing the pork perfectly. They give you a huge bowl and they are not stingy about the meat. Will def be back to try their other things on the menu!

I was mixed on this place a few months ago until they revamped their menu. is an absolute gem with their new offerings. Their spicy lemongrass beef phở found on the«Street Food» part of the menu is beyond amazing. I crave it. Only wish they were open later! Also, what a weird name. The domain isn’t directly registered to the restaurant. What an odd choice.

I enjoy this place. The grilled meats are fantastic. The noodle soups are comfort. The broths tend to run on the sweet side while I prefer my noodle soups to be more savory. The noodles themselves are great — chewy and springy. All the dishes I’ve tried have been solidly tasty. The bun mam(dried salted fish noodle soup) here is much better than the one at Phở Oregon. If you like salted fish(mostly seen in salted fish and chicken fried rice), then bun mam may be for you. It’s sweet and tastes like salted fish in liquid form. I enjoyed it much. The beef phở with vegetables was on the sweet side but it could also have been due to the vegetables. I love it when places give me beef broth and replace the meat with veggies. — I get my greens and my rich meaty broth. There are multiple sizes posted on the wall above the kitchen. The small is tiny and will give you a reasonable portion of food, it filled me up and prevented me from overeating. Bun rieu(crab meatball, tomato, lemongrass noodle soup) is good. I can’t say it’s as good as places in the Bay Area but it’s close. I haven’t had this anywhere else in Portland but I’m going to assume that they do it best here. Bun bo(beef lemongrass noodle soup) is super solid here. I enjoyed it. It’s either the same dish as bun bo hue or at least it’s very similar, minus the congealed blood cubes. — If only! This is THE place to go for making your own spring rolls. We got the grilled combination platter: sugarcane shrimp, pork skewer, Vietnamese pork sausage, beef skewer. All of it was super tasty and came with a side of fish sauce dipping sauce. — my fav! The place is very clean and the service super friendly. There’s never a wait and they have ample seating seating for groups of 4 – 6. Me being picky: I ordered tea and I felt like I was taking shots out of a sake cup. It’d be great if they actually gave me enough tea for my meal. Overall, I like it and I’m happy to frequent!

I liked this place, very well decorated and extremely friendly staff, greeted right away as you walk in. This is always a good sign to how the service will be. Restaurant is very clean as are the restrooms as well. Water was brought to the table right away, looked at the menu and ordered quickly. I had the sautéed lemongrass bowl, huge amount of food loaded with fresh vegetables, bean sprouts and rice noodles with crushed peanuts. Also had the beef phở also very good but was a little light on the meat and noodles. Did not have to ask for refills also nice. Would definitely return as well as recommend to others.
