We trust Adrian with all of our automotive repair needs. He’s honest, lets us know our repair options in advance, never tries to sell us any unnecessary services and maintains and repairs our vehicles properly on the first try (which isn’t always the case with some mechanics). We feel completely comfortable recommending him to our friends and family (and anyone reading this review). In short, he’s everything one would look for in a mechanic. In a world in which most businesses are constantly trying to nickel-​and-​dime us, it’s refreshing to be able to trust that someone will provide us with honest services at reasonable prices. And in addition to being a first-​rate mechanic, he’s also a genuinely nice guy who makes taking your car in for maintenance or repairs more like a reunion with an old friend than a trip to the dentist. (No offense, dentists!)

Adrian at Pereda took excellent care of me and my 2010 VW Jetta. He was very through and took the time to patiently review all of his findings with me in great detail. He answered all of my questions in a way that I could understand. He did not try to pressure me in my decision making whatsoever. He took care of the issue as promised even though he was the only one in the busy shop that day. I would recommend him in an instant to ANY of my friends and family. Thank you Adrian!

Adrian is an honest Guy. He is always upfront about price and how long the repair will take. And he always gets me in even when I don’t have a scheduled appointment. I send all my friends to him.

This is the best place to go for an honest, thorough repair on whatever automobile issue you might have. This is my partner’s go-​to location for all of his maintenance and repairs on his BMW. His boss owns an older Volvo and she also swears by Adrian and will only visit him for her repair needs. I will continue to recommend him to all of my family and friends in need of an all star mechanic.

I had to go through Pereda because the car I purchased through the dealer said they would take care of me. Boy was I wrong!
First off, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt in that maybe they just don’t specialize in JDM vehicles. But regardless of this, they didn’t listen to any of my concerns. There was an issue with the secondary air intake system which they did a flawed repair job. When replacing the secondary air valve they didn’t replace the secondary air blower, this part fails when the valves fail due to condensation build up. I asked the mechanic specifically if they had also tried just cleaning the MAF sensor first. Long story short, it took FIVE visits to repair the secondary air intake system and after this the check engine light came back. Finally the last visit the mechanic replaced the MAF sensor without even trying to clean the MAF sensor first.
Secondly, I always heard a chirping sound while driving. The mechanic told me several times that he couldn’t hear this. Well it didn’t take more than five minutes for Firestone to diagnose this issue to bad wheel bearings. The other thing I brought up was the fact the car would make a whining sound while coming to a stop. Again I was told nothing was wrong. While Firestone was replacing the wheel bearing they diagnosed this issue to a squeaking sway bar bushing. This solution was cheap as it only needed to be sprayed with lube to remedy it.
I can’t even explain how much of a hassle it was to deal with this place. Every time I would make arrangements to let them have the car for the day they wouldn’t finish working on it or would just brush off all concerns. If it wasn’t for the fact that I have a pregnant fiancé and that we needed a car to get to doctors appointments, I would have told them to take a hike with in the first couple visits. We only stuck with them out of desperation to get the car running.
I would seriously suggest prospective customers to reconsider going to this place. At no time did they offer straight up sound advice.

I love these guys. they are fast, honest and very knowledgeable. We send 3 – 5 cars a week to them for our lot and have never been let down.

My 10 year old lexus suv started leaking transmission fluid. A friend recommended Adrian at Pereda and I was delighted in the speed of service, and quality of service. I have a feeling of trust in what they tell me. Appreciated the clean, comfortable waiting room with wi-​fi and tv. It is a small garage door opening,(I drove by it the first time) but was able to drive right in, leave my car and go into the office.

Pereda has become my go-​to car repair place. They have been great at helping out with my last-​minute car emergencies – you know, the ones where you need your car now! and can’t afford spending a day with the car in the shop. They’ve been a good neighbor, helping to jump start my car for free when I’ve left the lights on or when I was having mysterious dead-​battery issues this fall. If I didn’t live in the neighborhood and had to wait there for my car to be repaired, I would also appreciate the calming décor and the very clean bathroom. Nice guys who know what they’re doing and do it for a reasonable price.
