Food is alright. The prices are reasonable. The location is clean. Good for casual dining alone or with a friend.

The lasagna was just delicious and the peach Italian soda! The lasagna was full of flavor and I loved the fact that the peach Italian soda had peach purée! You’ve got to try it!

Meh, if you happen to be in the area and want some pasta, this place is okay. Parking: Street parking can be tricky Ambiance: I like the restaurant, kind of old style classy. Service: They can get busy and slow. Food: We had the spaghetti carbonara — excellent flavor. My son had the kids fettuccini alfredo — huge portion size, my son usually eats it all up at other restaurants but we had leftovers. I had the meatball sandwich which was very good, but salad it came with was very sour and I would only eat half of it. Recommendation: It was good, but not spectacular, probably won’t be back.

Server(Kacie B) was speedy and attentive. Appetizer and meals were served quickly. We appreciated the many smiling and friendly staff. We were seated quickly and really enjoyed our meals. Simple delicious Italian food.

I usually turn my head the other way when it comes to chain restaurants. Frankly, most just aren’t worth it to be honest. This is one place though that I really do find myself wanting to go out of my way for from time to time. It’s certainly consistent and there’s several menu items I find myself coming back here for. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by their cocktails in the past, and my latest obsession is the Rigatoni Zuccati– pasta with butternut squash, spinach, and mushrooms in a white wine creamy sauce. I haven’t quite been able to replicate on my own as well, nor have I found a place that necessarily does this dish better. This is a great option for a low key, no frills lunch or dinner.

Walked there one rainy afternoon from the Convention Center. So glad I did. Had a spaghetti carbonara that was wonderful. Very nice bread, a good Montepulciano. So satisfying I had a moment’s notion to order another round! Madness. Spumoni to finish it off. It’s a noisy, bustling, happy neighborhood trattoria, just what I was looking for.

We arrived on a Friday night around 7:30. It was crowded, but we were seated fast.(Party of 2). We both wanted and ordered Chicken fettuccini Alfredo. First, the waitress informed us that they were two people short and out of fettuccini noodles. What?! No noodles? My friend had GF noddles and my choice was spiral. My only options were thin spaghetti, spiral and another one I can’t recall. As she was taking our orders she asked if we wanted a salad. We both said yes! Time came for the bills and we were shocked the salads were $ 5.00 each extra. She didn’t mention an extra charge. Anyway for dinner, side salad and a margarita my bill was $ 27 to much. That’s a bit pricy for mediocre food on top of being out of a couple of different noodles. I will probably not visit this place again.

Really good caprese and the seafood cannelloni was very nice. Cozy atmosphere and solid service. I’ll come again the next time I’m in the area.

Hands down some of the BEST lasagna I have ever had. Bold flavours, savoury sauce, all fresh ingredients made the food 5 stars. The service matched the quality of the food. However, there were a few key details that kept this place from a 5 star rating. Warm bread and butter(not cold), cloth napkins, and more formal dress from the staff could have taken this place to the next level. However, for the prices you can’t beat the food and service.

fell in LOVE with this place. went looking for a particular restaurant we had seen from the bus & couldnt find it. asked a local and instead they recommended the restaurant we were standing in front of(they were just going in) we were tired & hungry & not really expecting fabulous, but that is what we got. Seriously good food, delightful staff, a goodly amount of food for the $ and reasonably priced as well. definitely a happy choice. we went back later the week for another awesome meal! i adored the Carbonera(sp?) and had one of the best Cesar salads i have had in YEARS. yummmm

The food here is outstanding as well as the service. Our favorite place to eat. It’s a pretty small place so you might want to send someone ahead if you are going on the weekend, but well worth it. The prices are reasonable and the good very fresh

I’ve dined at this particular location several times now. I’ve been very pleased with the restaurant’s food and ambiance. But I’m very impress with the friendly service. Every time I’ve dined there I had the pleasure to be served by Dennis. He’s so friendly and constantly smiling. I like that he takes time to chat with me and makes me feel like a valued guest. Dennis follows-up and makes sure that my dining experience is the best. Good food, reasonably priced, and great service. I can’t ask for more.

I have had the pleasure of dining at Pastini several times and finally am writing a review. The atmosphere, service, and quality of food is high quality. The prices are reasonable and they also have a wide selection of salads to accompany your meal(I recommend the Caesar, Spinach, or Kale salads). Tonight I tried the Rigatoni Zuccati, which consists of roasted butternut squash, wild mushrooms, spinach, and rosemary in a light cream sauce. Mmm… delicious! Our server, Dennis, was very friendly, knowledgable, patient, and checked up on us several times to make sure we were enjoying our meal. He maintained his calm and friendly demeanor even though he was the only server on the floor and taking care of many tables. I will definitely return to this Pastini location again.

Had a great dinner here while visiting Portland. I was looking for a vegetarian — friendly place and this came up as one of the top results. The food I ordered came out fast and delicious. I had a delightful spinach salad and then the pasta Primavera dish(subbed with whole wheat penne). The service was friendly and efficient. Being a single diner tonight on the road, they knew without asking that I wasn’t here to lolly gag. The drinks came out fast and hit the spot. It looks like they have some great lunch specials too. Definitely a place I’d come back to based on this experience.

Tasty, affordable pasta, with excellent service! Better quality pasta then Olive Garden without the marked up prices! I enjoy the modern, wood ambience and fresh smell of pasta when I walk in. I went with a group of ten. I was really surprised by their service because waiters or waitresses aren’t usually that prompt with a large group of people based on my experience. They were really friendly and did everything with a smile on their face. I also enjoyed the yummy pasta! I had the spaghetti and meatballs for only 12 bucks. It’s just the right portion too. I’d recommend two things. First, they really need to have a signature selling point or food item. I mean like a free salad, bread, or something signature that makes me really remember them. I mean Olive Garden is known for their free delicious bread and The Spagehtti Factory is known for their free salad with exclusive pesto dressing. Second, I don’t remember if the employees were wearing name tags or not. If they were, they were too small. If they didn’t have any, I want to be able to call my waiter by name.

After coming here a few times I have really gotten into eating here. The bolognese, classic spaghetti, ziti, carbonara, Cesar salad, and parmesan bread are all things I have tried here and are great. The meatballs and Italian sausage are awesome and the servers are friendly and well informed. I crave this place a lot of the time and I will for sure keep coming back.

I had never been here before and apparently it’s a chain? This was near Lloyd Center and we came here after a movie, pretty hungry. It was a full house and most patrons didn’t have food at their table. We waited probably 15 min to be seated on a Thursday night which was okay, it was busy. I ordered the salad sampler with the caprese, the Bistro salad and the orzo salad. The bistro salad was probably my favorite and the caprese, though technically accurate had a flavor I didn’t care for. I wish the herb were something besides basil. I also added some garlic bread and that was pretty good! I haven’t had much Italian food in Portland(I’m more into Mexican or Thai/Viet) but this was good. I drank water and it wasn’t bleachy clean the way some places are. It tasted like water, maybe even filtered! I’d go back, and I’d try dessert next time.

I was attempting to go to another restaurant but my GPS took me here instead, not a bad change of plans. I checked out the menu and they had lots of veggie options so I figured I would give it a try! The hostess was friendly and I was able to be seated right away without feeling like being an amoeba as often is the case with a party of uno. The server was also friendly and attentive. I decided on the bow tie pasta with asparagus. The menu made a mention of a touch of cream or a dash, something along those lines however I found there to be an awful lot of cream/sauce. Very rich. I am sure a lot of people would love that however I would have ordered it with half as much if I had known. Overall it was still super delicious. The vibe is relaxed with cute little touches; brick walls, charming little bar etc. They also do to-go orders which is always a plus!
