No problem with the examination, but I do have a problem with the receptionist/​front desk. I almost missed my appointment since I never got a reminder call (which they said they would make the day before the appointment).
When I mentioned this to the lady at the front desk, she said they were understaffed and didn’t get the reminder calls out. Then she deflected the blame onto me, saying I should have written the appointment down, and put it somewhere I wouldn’t misplace it.

Brought my girls here for vision therapy. Was going well for the first month, until I had to call and cancel an appointment, stuck in traffic, because it was July 3^rd and traffic was horrible!!! I never called back the vision coordinator because I assumed they were organized and she would receive my message. At our next appointment, she smiled and let me know how she almost cancelled the rest of our appointments because I never called her back. I let her know I called and the traffic issue, she smiled and and let me know she knew that.
Then comes time to pay. They DO not let you know ahead of time if your insurance will cover it or not. She also failed to let me know of the $ 50 supply fee per child, which is on the very bottom of the form they mail you in the 3^rd to last paragraph as she pointed out. I mentioned how she never mentioned any fee prior, when she tried to charge me for a $ 25 pack of cards. And how the form shows nothing of a fee until the horrible placement I it at the bottom. She let me know, regardless of the fee that I would’ve brought my twins in anyway. Really? Like they are the only vision therapy in portland. Longer story short, I cancelled all future appointments, letting them know it was the horrendous customer service I received from their coordinator, and I would request an optomoligist from my children’s pediatrician, where they can use their insurance and let me know what the overall costs be. Weeks later I receive a letter in the mail from the optometrist (not a medical eye physician) that I am refusing the treatment they are recommending for my kids. Last thing I want to have on my children’s medical record. I also notice the lack of accuracy by using the incorrect last name for myself, even though I filled out several forms with my accurate last name.
Horrible experience. Contacting the Oregon board of optometry now.

This place is terrible. I bought a $ 250.00 pair of sunglasses. I brought them back, after having only worn them twice (I decided I didn’t like them), and they refused a return, exchange or credit. Bad business. Will not go back.
