There were a total of 4 visible working here today. We waited for 1.5 hours before food came, then another 30 minutes for a side of Ranch and A1. This was after being seated immediately. The one manager was running around doing everything and was super apologetic and very kind, so please excuse her from this review. Our waiter/bartender didn’t speak — literally. He did not speak to us, come to our table ever again once our order was taken. It was instead the manager running food, getting sides, getting our check, ringing us up, etc. It was hard to pay for this experience.

Been a loyal out backer for years and this is the worst service I have ever had. Came at 7pm on a Monday night and the place was barely half full. We were only a party of 2 and were told to wait. Potentials customers were walking out left and right because they were barely acknowledged and told the same thing. When the host finally came to seat us all he offer was the bar area and when I asked he finally said they have no staff. What little staff they had waa extremely slow and a Manger finally came after almost 8 min to take our order. And didn’t even apologize for the lack of even someone checking in. No one even offered us water or anything while we waited for a server. It appeared to be staffed adequately enough to accommodate the patrons that were here and the over vibe from the staff was down and not enthusiastic or welcoming at all. Over all even the food was mediocre, small side salad was so drenched with enough dressing for at least 3 salads. Not sure what is going on but it will be a while before we come back. Almost an hour past and still no food, no server asked how we were doing or if we needed refills, finally the manager who took our order came and said the ticked was never processed… I will not be back!

Besides the exceptionally long wait for the waitress to stop by and ask for drinks we asked about the special that was emailed today to me and showed the waitress today’s email. She explained that there was no way we could get the offer since they are franchised vs corporate and their computer had no option to ring it in. Besides being ready to leave over the long wait I left after this issue. For many years I have come monthly. The issues have been growing more and more and this is the straw that broke this camels back. I am Unsubscribing from their emails since they are pointless and am unlikely to try again since the issues have been growing too rapidly the past few years. Good luck with your failing business Outback.

My food was delicious(salmon, mushrooms and mashed potatoes) but none of my friends seemed to like their meals. Our waiter was awesome though!

Food tasted good. Was first one in restaurant but yet very long wait for food. Had to ask for steak sauce. Took half hour just to get side salad. Side salad not chopped up very good. The lettuce came in long strands. Horrible experience. Oh asked for steak sauce it didnt come so had to ask again and my steak got cold.

So my husband has been wanting to go here for years, and I finally gave in. Disappointing to say the least! First the service sucked! Our server didn’t introduce himself, he had no personality and showed no emotion on his face the entire time, and he was not knowledgeable about the menu(had to tell him what the side options were for my meal). Then the bloomin onion came out and I was not impressed, my husband and kids enjoyed it. The over-priced food was bland! My salmon was overcooked and it came with the largest pieces of bland broccoli(it as like I got the whole head in one piece). My daughter’s fries were cold and super soggy(when we asked for a new fry our waiter never brought them). My husbands meat did not come out the right temp… there was just one thing after another and we got sick of asking for things to be right that we just left. We will NOT be going back! Not as good as we remembered… =(

Same old so so service, I remember when the wait staff would sit with you to take your order, those days are gone Now your lucky to get your food on time The manager didn’t even care I was done before she got her food, I shared half so she wouldn’t starve The waiter was gone forever and came back smelling like cigarettes Too much money for that experience

Went to have a steak of course… really good, fresh vegetables etc. Very good food here with great service… got seated quickly. Was my first time at an Outback and was surprised how well their steaks were. Definitely recommend it. Staff was very professional and courteous… was pleasantly surprised.

There is always that small hope that after two years, a restaurant that you loved ten years ago will become as good as it use to be. I just do not think Outback will ever get back to its opening day high standards. I did my two year check in, and was disappointed yet again. This will be my last visit. While our server was nice, his pleasant interaction was not enough to save the mediocrity of the food. The only well spent money here was his tip. We ordered the Filet and Lobster Tail, the Fish and Chips, the kids Mac and Cheese, and of course the Blooming Onion. The blooming onion tasted the same to me. I confess I love the horseradish sauce. I always have and always will. The kids mac and cheese tasted like Velveta, no surprise there. The complimentary bread is same sweet squishy mini loaf served with whipped butter. The fIlet was cooked as ordered. Rare. I would warn people that when Outback says rare, they mean almost cool blue. We like our steak that way, but I can see others being disappointed if they expect the normal red to pink ratio that is standard rare. The seasoning was good. The lobster tail was a sad affair. I would not have been so disappointed if there had not been a picture at the table of a huge succulent red lobster tail, oozing with glossy butter. Our sad lobster tail could not compete with the said pictured Zeus like lobster tail. The fish and chips. No seasoning at all. Not a grain of salt. The fish was extremely dry as was the hard breading. The breading crumbled off in thick slabs and almost cracked the plate when it landed. The almost twenty dollar dish was offensive. The dirty martini was too sweet. Our check was over eighty dollars. I finally give up. Goodbye Outback.

Missed informed about their special, ended up paying more for my over rated food in an over rated OK Corral atmosphere. Worst B-day dinner I’ve had in a restaurant. The waitress sucks, I get better service at Carl’s JR. Oh yeah, it is a dump!

How does one get a foodie to go to chain restaurant… Oh wait I already used that line, the answer of course is give them a gift certificate. So here we were, using up a couple of the gift certificates given to us by well meaning relatives, and if any of them happen to read this«WE love you, thank you for the gift!» «Please stop reading this now»…next time they should give us something we would enjoy more more like a gift certificate for a colonoscopy or root canal surgery. To be fair, the food here is kind of OK, if you’re into deep fried foods you could probably find lots of items you love, and to be even fairer, we didn’t order every entrée on the menu, so there are bound to be items better that what my wife and I ordered. She had some kind of chicken breast that was covered with a sauce that was cold, her vegetables were cold and the chicken was meh. I had the 10 oz rib eye that was supposed to be wood fire grilled. it wasn’t…it was obviously cooked on a flat top, I didn’t complain, I just won’t be back.

First time visiting an Outback in many years. Had the Calif. Chicken sandwich which was quite good but fairly small, fries to me were just over salted regular fries and the Clam Chowder was fairly good and actually a decent size cup, I’ve seen smaller. Didn’t care much for the so called rye bread and would have much rather had maybe sour dough bread. If it wasn’t for the coupon I used, I would not pay the regular $ 11.00 for this selection. Not sure if I’ll return, unless it’s with another coupon.

Like most chains, Outback has gone the way of smaller portions, lower food costs, and under-staffed locations. I still give them four stars in comparison to other big-name chains though. You always know what to expect when you come here. The staff is exceedingly friendly and professional, and they always seem to try and do a good job. The food quality is fine, but the prices of some menu items(noodles, drinks, etc…) are too high for what they cost. Which is also typical.

I only came for happy hour but I wasn’t impressed. They were understaffed which led to our poor server trying to assist like 6 tables on her own. She did a great job and actually managed to not make us wait for anything. I can tell though she is a bit jaded from the mess she has to endure from that place. The food was decent although my girlfriend didn’t care for any of it. I ordered the prime beef sandwich and liked it but it didn’t come with any au jou which direly needed. Very dry suffice to say. My girlfriend got the ribs which were under sauced but fairly large portion with fries. The happy hour price was good for what we ordered as mine was only 6 dollars and my girlfriend’s ribs were only 7. That being said i would say overall the experience was mediocre and nothing i would recommend.

Here’s what you need to know: –This my first time ever trying Outback Steakhouse. –The blooming onion and the sauce that comes with it is disgusting. The onion is greasy and poorly seasoned(it tasted like dirty dishwater). –It’s 90 degrees outside and they don’t even put ice in the water. –The fries were cold and poorly seasoned. –The steak is cooked just like we requested, medium rare, great. Although the steak was poorly seasoned, they sure did make up for that with all of the water and blood the steak was oozing out. –The only thing worth eating is the bread and butter that they serve while you wait for your food. *I do not recommed eating at this establishment.

The only thing that Outback has going for it is the Bloomin’ Onion — because you cannot mess that up. The service here is friendly and quick, but the food is extremely lacking. Every time I think of Outback, I think of the movie«Waiting» and feel like everything was either frozen at one point or just pre-packaged. Of all the times I’ve come to Outback, it doesn’t matter HOW I order a steak, it’s coming out bone dry. Their drinks are also pretty weak, but that’s to be expected with a chain restaurant like Outback. Save your money and go to Sayler’s or even your local bar. It would probably be a better steak!
