Ordered a pizza for delivery last week(I know I’m slow to review). Ordered a large pepperoni and it arrived fast and hot! It was my 1st time ordering online and I’m very pleased about the rewards program, the ease of ordering, and the fact that you can track your order. Awesome experience!

This review is for all Otto pizza’s… It’s okay. Will make the mark if you have a pizza hankering. The disclaimer is I was born and raised on Dirty Jerz /New York City style pizza. And every-time I go home I am blown away. And the fact of the matter is you CANNOT get good pizza outside of the Tri-State Area. That is a scientific fact. That said, the pizza is pretty good. Though definitely not off the charts good.

There’s a lot of good looking, trendy bars in the world. There’s also a lot of good pizza, too. But OTTOs finds a way to combine both. Memorably tasty slice of pepperoni and great beers and wine to choose from. atmosphere, nice staff, good noise level– all reasons to come back time and time again.

Love Otto. Pizza is spectacular, especially the potato bacon and the papaya and pulled pork. Always a good selection of interesting beers.

Ehh… My first visit here. I thought from the pictures shared that the pizza would taste better than it did. The topping and combination choices are kind of odd(meatloaf and mashed potatoes??) but given that I was visiting, figured it would not hurt to give something different a try. Ordered the white bean, roasted garlic and spinach… While the thought might have been a good one, no good deed goes unpunished! The white beans were too much.(overpowering). The spinach made the crust soggy(never good) and the huge whole pieces of garlic were way offensive(vampers beware!). Am thinking were I to come back I would just keep it simple and order a sausage and mushroom or a pepperoni slice. A true lesson that some things are better off when kept simple.

I’ve had pizza from Otto a few times and I’m always semi happy with it. It’s good, but not great. We got cheese and pepperoni and the bacon potato scallion pizza. In theory, I should love the bacon potato pizza, in reality, I don’t. I’ve had it a few times and I’m consistently disappointed. It has always been dry and just lacks flavors. I love white pizzas and I love bacon and scallions make just about everything better but the bacon reminds me of bagged bacon pieces and the scallions don’t have much flavor. So I will skip it in the future. The pepperoni, though… that’s good stuff! Definitely order pepperoni. This past time we ordered with extra cheese(they are light on cheese in general) and it was tremendous. It’s a good choice for dinner and we’ll certainly order again, but we’ll just stick to the good ones.

A-mazing pizza, especially if you’re a vegetarian. Our group of 8 ordered 5 pizzas, and every one of them was delicious. Will definitely get again when we come to Portland next time.

Stumbled upon the best pizza I’ve ever had! I highly recommend the butternut squash w/ricotta & cranberries. Good enough to go back the next day for another slice before leaving town :)

We had the mashed potato, meatloaf and onion pizza, along with the pulled pork with mango, both different and good pies, some of the best crust ever, soft yet crunchy, would eat here again, friendly staff…

My friend and I had decided to walk to a different location but GPS failed us, for a second time this trip. So we ended up walking and walking and walking until finally we both said, «The next place that looks like it offers food, we’re stopping.» And thus, we happened upon Otto. I’m not sure how many locations they have or where they started but I’ve passed their location in Harvard Sq many times and never been tempted to stop, I will be oh so tempted now. We snagged a tomato salad to start then had a spinach white bean, and roasted garlic pie. The tomato salad was light and whet our appetite. The pie arrive in short order and smelled great. The small was more than enough for the two of us. I broke my «two is good, 3 is gross» rule concerning slices of pizza and finished the last slice. The thin crust was crispy and had just enough salt to be tasty. the whole tomaotoes were really nice instead of sauce. And oh baby the roasted garlic was smooooooth and mellow. No harshing my pizza mellow there. Damn this was a fine thin crust pie. My unsweetened iced tea was great as well. Okay, we’d also walked a mile or more to get there, in hot sun, but hey, the pie was GOOD. The waitress was sweet, saw we’d been to the PMA and made appropriate comments about our art supply purchases we’d both made. She heard we’d walked from the museum and brought us a full pitcher of water, which we finished.

Education comes in strange places. After immediately being pegged as «Not from around here»(I’m sure being the only brown person in a 100 mile radius had nothing to do with it), our delightful waitress Emma educated us on a few things: 1. The best pizza in the US comes from New Haven. I initially scoffed at this, but after some intense googling… whaddaya know, it’s true. I’ve never once thought about making a trip to New Haven, but now… well… I’m still not planning it, but should I end up there, I’ll know what to go eat. 2. The path to a beautiful hike devoid of tourists(I will not divulge… if you want to know, go to Otto and ask). 3. The ebb and flow of the July 4th crowds on the 4th of July in Portland. All this, along with some damned fine pizza. Service always makes a big difference, and so thank you Emma and Otto for a lovely 4th of July lunch.

Yum yum! Love the white bean/spinach/garlic pizza, the ricotta/butternut squash/cranberry is a close second. So many delicious options, the daily specials are always great too. Whether you grab a slice, or dine in for a whole pie, it’s great stuff! Their many locations are convenient and consistent! Delivery is a good option to, and the online tool keeps you posted on your order status. It’s a bit pricey, but worth the splurge!

The Mashed Potato, Bacon & Scallion pizza is outstanding! I had just flown in from Raleigh and had walked a half mile to a closed lobster shack. Lucky for me, Otto was open. I grabbed a seat at the bar and chatted with my lovely bartender. They have slices available but since I was hungry I chose the small pie and a glass of wine. It was perfection — my taste buds were dancing with happiness. I wasn’t able to finish the last 2 pieces, so buying it by the slice(and getting to try a variety of pies) may have been a better option, but I have no regrets. I’ll be dreaming of that pizza for nights to come.

Feeling pretty great about our lunch at Otto. All their flavors rock, and they’re quick and as fancy or casual as you’d like. With a little area for picking up slices, there’s also a restaurant and bar in the next room for a sit down meal. We picked up pepperoni and the potato bacon pizza, and both were delicious. It’s very possibly one of my favorite pizza joints on the east coast.

After the restaurant we were waiting at basically neglected us and our plans to catch The Nutcracker ballet, we scrambled to find a place to eat and still not miss the show. Right around the corner was Otto’s, so my squeeze and I headed there. Unfortunately for us, the group we were with got confused and went to the Otto’s near the West End… We had ordered two large pizzas for our group, thinking we were planning ahead for when the rest of us got here so we could quickly eat and run out. After finding out we were the only ones that would be dining at this Otto’s, we panicked about what to do with two large pizzas and the bill. The staff was very friendly and understanding, they took the pepperoni pizza off our hands and used it as one of their ‘by the slice option’ pizzas. We ended up taking the mushroom and ricotta cheese pizza to go and wolfed it down in the car while trying to find a parking spot so we wouldn’t miss the ballet. We really appreciated the staff’s understanding after they set a table for all of us even though we didn’t end up staying, and for not charging us for one of the pizzas we ordered because of our mix-up with our friends. The pizza we took with us was also amazing! Smooth and creamy ricotta cheese with delicious mushrooms and herbs, it was really a positive spin on a night that turned chaotic. Thank you Ottto’s!

Yummy thin crust pizza. Not exactly New York caliber, but pretty dang close. Got the klamata olive, roasted garlic red pepper pizza + sausage, was bangin. Bar tender was really friendly, and they have decent beers on tap. This location seems to be a bit smaller than the other ones, street parking only.

Yum! What a great pizza place! I was craving some, and Dan and I saw this place while in town looking for lunch. Cozy, priced well, friendly staff. We had the spicy pulled pork pie, it was the perfect amount of meat and spice. There were several other pies I can’t wait to go back and try.

Fantastic restaurant that is upscale(for a pizza/bar) and sophisticated without losing the easy deliciousness of pizza. Service is spot on, hipster, casual, cool, and friendly. Great crisp pizza with some good size to it, and a varied menu ranging from classics to vegan friendly and meat-lover as well. They usually have some specials, such as meatballs too which for some reason just solidifies the 5-star rating.

The pizza was excellent. We had: Butternut Squash, Ricotta and Cranberry($ 21/$ 12) The small pizza is definitely big enough for 2 people. I would certainly go back here. Service was friendly and it was nice and warm inside.

Otto deserves 5 stars, 6 or 7 even, because this place has THEBESTPIZZA I’VEEVEREATEN. No joke. This place is the real deal. I’ve been hearing about this place from my foodie sister and bro-in-law whose opinions on food I highly respect and value, but my thoughts were, c’mon…good pizza is good pizza. Besides, this place cannot be better than my favorite pizza place, a tiny little shop on the shoreline of Connecticut whose passionate young owners train in Italy quite frequently and have written two cookbooks. No way. Way. Sorry, Bufalina but OTTO now takes the title of MYFAVORITEPIZZAINALLTHELAND. Holy deliciousness. On a recent visit I tried four different slices: pepperoni, sausage + vidalia onlon, roasted tomato + ricotta + basil, and the mashed potato + bacon + scallion. I’m in looove. Best crust ever. Light and crispy, almost airy but with substance, if that makes any sense. I dream of this. Toppings, ingredients, are top-notch. San Pellegrinos in every flavor(I recommend blood orange or grapefruit) are available to quench your thirst as well as what appears to be homebrewed iced teas and fresh oj. Probably waters too but I wasn’t paying attention. I want some OTTO right now.
