I highly recommend Charles from Nonprofit Home Inspections. There are multiple reasons such as Scheduling an appointment is very easy. Charles is awesome at his inspection work. He looked in all required places and made sure a home is thoroughly inspected. I would highly recommend Charles for inspections service.

I cannot say enough good things about Charles and Nonprofit Home Inspections. I am currently in the process of buying my first home and wanted the best possible provider to perform my general home inspection, sewer scope and radon test. Many of the providers I looked into offered 1 or 2 out of the 3 tests I wanted done, but Nonprofit Home Inspections was the only «one stop shop» I found that had availability within my 10-​day inspection contingency period. The online scheduler on their website made scheduling quick and easy, as I was able to find a time that worked best for me without waiting while someone on the phone flipped through a schedule. I really don’t understand why more providers don’t have an online scheduling system!
On inspection day, I arrived right at the scheduled start time for the inspection, and Charles was already there starting on the exterior portion of the inspection since he had looked up the property and saw it was vacant. The whole process went smoothly and quickly, and I had my report in my email well before the end of the day. Charles walked me and my agent through the property at the conclusion of his inspection to explain his findings. He was happy to answer questions and was observant and thoughtful in explaining certain terms and property conditions that a first-​time buyer might not be familiar with.
I could not have asked for a better experience! My agent was impressed with the level of service and competitive pricing that Nonprofit Home Inspections offers and plans to recommend them to other buyers going forward. I will be doing the same!

I highly recommend Charles from Nonprofit Home Inspections. Last week was the second time he inspected a home for me and he is terrific! The first time was about two months ago and, thanks to his in-​depth inspection, I decided that particular home needed more work/​repairs than I was willing to take on. So when I found another house I liked I already knew I was going to make an appointment with Charles to inspect this home. He is prompt, knowledgeable, professional, patient with questions, explains things in layman’s terms, and friendly. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a home inspection!

I don’t really know what to say because I’m not a particularly eloquent (or frequent) reviewer. Also, I don’t have much point of refrence for home inspections — it’s not really the kind of thing you really do a bunch.
That said: I would really highly suggest Charles to anyone who needs an inspection. He’s quick, efficient, thorough, and provides helpful explanation throughout the process. He sent the report maybe 6 hours after the inspection, which seemed incredible. He gave me feedback as he went, walking me through what he was doing and thinking, and listened to me and my perspective. He patiently answered questions, no matter how asinine. He *clearly* knows what he’s doing and likes his job. If you need a home inspection, I don’t think you could do better.

Charles inspected a home last week that I’m in escrow to purchase. He was timely, thorough, showed me issues he uncovered, and got a written report back to me that very evening. I’m a general contractor and am already pretty savvy about older homes. But he still brought to my attention several important things I hadn’t noted myself. And when he completes certification to be able to do tank sweeps and sewer line scopes all on the same visit, that will make his services even more valuable.

Charles Lewis answered our phone inquiry, scheduled our appointment, and completed our home inspection. He answered our questions prior to scheduling and was sincere, honest, and easy to work with. He arrived early for our Saturday appointment and he came prepared with his gear and equipment ready to work. He spent over 3 hours inspecting our home and another 30 minutes at the end going over what he found. He was very thorough, took his time, and was a hard worker. He also wrote up the inspection report, with clear pictures and descriptions of the roof, plumbing, exterior, interior, crawl space, etc. He even had thermal images of various parts of the home. His work ethic and excellent ability to explain to me and my mom-​in-​law aspects of his inspection completely prove his determination in earning any homeowners trust. I called Charles Lewis of Nonprofit Home Inspection to see if he would come and inspect our church. Charles agreed and inspected the church and found quit a few items that needed attention. He was very prompt and gave the church many recommendation on what needed to be repaired and the major items that needed immediate attention.
