Nike Factory Store

Don’t waste your time coming here! No sizes, no knowledge of products, stores a mess, clothing and shoes are old and look used/​returned products.

Like most outlet stores it’s a hit or miss. You either walk out empty handed or you find yourself scoring shoes, shorts, tshirts, etc. I’ve been to this factory store a couple of times and first time I found some great deals on running shorts and sports bras and the most recent time, I didn’t find anything that was really worth it.
It’s a stand-​alone factory store that’s big enough, but not huge. I would probably check it out every time I’m in town as it’s not too far outside of downtown, but again — hit or miss.

Been here once before. If you’re planning on hauling a bunch of Nike gear, it’s worth the drive to get it all here since it’s tax-​free! It’s very big, has a BUNCH of variety, colors and sizes, so you’ll be sure to find what you’re looking for. The far third of the store is an entire wall of shoes as well, so you definitely won’t be limited in options!

Guilty as charged, I ended up leaving the Nike Factory Store with a few more pairs of shoes than I anticipated purchasing. The added bonus of being in Oregon and thus no sales tax really swayed me as well.
While you may or may not find everything your heart desires depending on your shoe or clothing size and budget, where I felt this store really excelled was with their customer service skills! I initially was browsing and trying to figure out which shows meet my needs and one of their employees really took the time to help me find the best pair of shoes for me and in the colors or styles I desired.
Though not all shoe colors were available on the floor, she covered all her bases by also checking in the back and even showing me shoes I could get online, pay for now, and get shipped to me for free.
Considering how many shoes I bought and being in the Portland area for visiting purposes, not sure when I’ll be back next but gotta say I was certainly pleased with my purchases and the customer service I received here!

Clothing selection and sizing overall are limited, so I ended up purchasing only one item which was on sale. If you’re a size M-​XL in women’s, there’s usually one of each size in the clothes, but anyone XS-​S will be out of luck. Overall, the women’s and children’s clothing selection is extremely small compared to the factory stores in California, but the men’s section seemed pretty decent overall. Shoes are generally last season in color ways, but only some current models as expected, so if you’re looking to save, definitely check out the running and training shoes or mens clothes.

I walked into this store today with my wife and two sons ready to spend money on walking/​running shoes prior to our vacation next week. I encountered what was perhaps the worst customer service that I have encountered at a Nike store, other than the Bend location. It was really disappointing especially since I have pretty big feet so it’s nice to go somewhere that has your shoe size in stock. Unfortunately the customer service person assigned to checking stock seemed more enthused with having conversations with his co-​worker than to offer me help. When I finally did get his attention, I asked him to check stock on probably six different pairs of shoes, all of which he said were out of stock. On the final pair his co-​worker, whom he was talking to, actually checked. I put the shoes I wanted to buy back, and left after purchasing some items for my kids.
I will not be returning.

what a great selection of shoes. Place can get crowded, But it was worth staying in line. Kids got some great items at discount prices. Nice place. will visit again

My son’s baseball cleats didn’t last one season so he shipped them back with a letter they wrote and asked for replacements. In turn, Nike sent the same defective cleats back to him without even an apology. WE ARE NO LONGER BUYING ANY NIKE CRAP OF ANY KIND.

First time visiting and left with 3 pairs of running shoes for way less $$ than I had anticipated. Tons of choices and a lot of large sizes (I wear a 14 mens). One of the associates actually got me a color they didn’t have displayed at an even deeper discount with free shipping to my house. Great first experience, gonna be back.

Came in to find a pair of running shoes. Was helped by an employee named Nash. Supper helpful and very friendly. Will definitely be back before I leave Portland.

I got bought 50 $ gift card as a Christmas gift and sent it off to my friend on the east coast. The card accidentally had no money on it. I still had the receipt and the store clerk, manager and corporate customer service were unable to cancel the card and refund my money. Do not buy Nike or from corporate entities that have forgotten how to treat a customer.

I visited this Nike location looking for something specific, unfortunately they did not have what I went in for, so I asked the woman at the front could she check another location, she checked and then informed me that the Woodburn location had 17 of the item that I was looking for available. Fast forward to about 40 minutes later, I arrived at the Woodburn location, gave the lady helping me the item number and informed her that I had just visited the Portland location and they say that Woodburn at 17 available. She looked up the information that I provided her with and checked in the back stock room only to inform that they do not carry the item at all.
I wish I would’ve caught the lady at the Portland locations name, but really would like to thank her for the misinformation and wasting my time. Ugh!

Great store with even better prices. The prices may be result of after Christmas, but nonetheless everything was 30% off. Found my shoes I wanted coming into the store within 10 minutes. The shoe racks were a little disorganized, but still effective at helping you. Staff was everywhere and very helpful. Had a good time shopping.

This is a nice store with a big selection of Nike products, exactly what it has verries over time. I usually walk out of here with nothing. They can be limited in their selection and sizes.
It has however always been a hit with guests from far away. The prices are better then at the mall or the bigger Nike stores. It is nice to have the ability to see a factory store without driving out to the outlet mall.
The staff are almost all at the registers, I have rarely seen any out in the store to help people. Even so the lines can get long here.
I should say that I am not a huge Nike fan anyway and that no doubt collors my opinion. Usually I don’t but cloths with large advertizements on them. Anyway most everything here is (no surprise) athletic wear. So I rarely need to buy.

Surprising nice store with parking in a hard to find parking location. The store is spacious and has a lot to offer. My daughter enjoys all their offerings, and I plan to bring my son here for discounted dry fit shirts and basketball shorts.
I’m not much of a shopper, but I like coming here for well made athletic clothing at a reasonable price. Every time I’ve dropped in, the service has been friendly and efficient.

This store is hit or miss. Sometimes I leave with more than I intended to purchase and other times I leave with nothing. There is typically good deals on clothes but I have been a few times when it seems that everything is pretty much full price.
Depending on when you go, the store can be organized or it can be a complete mess! Typically the weekends are chaotic so I try to go on a week night. If you are there on a weekend, there is usually a full store with a long line to try on clothes.
There always seems to be plenty of staff in the store and most of them are willing to help you out.

Bough a pair of 2015 AirMax shoes 25 days ago and the air popped on 1 shoe. Brought shoes into store and they said «yes, these are defective, go ahead and get the same shoe and we’ll exchange».
They only have 2014 AirMax so I brought to there attention, the girl then told me they’d give me $ 54.95 for the defective shoes and I’d have to pay the difference! Manager also said «without receipt this is all we can give you for the shoes». The shoes are still brand new. But they insisted they couldn’t help.
Absolutely terrible customer service. Both from the manager and customer service employee.

There wasn’t a really great selection of clothing for women and most of it wasn’t even discounted. The men’s section was at least twice the size. The shoe selection weren’t anything impressive either.
Very disappointed.

There are some pretty good deals sometimes, but you have to check back often. Open floor with clothing towards the front and the shoes in the back half. Friendly staff who are there to help and get what you need.
There are some good sales but usually its a little lower than regular or just about the same price as anywhere else. Factory store is a great substitute from the Nike Employee Store, which is really tough to get in.
Best deals I found for myself is when you look at the shoes on the back walls. I was able to find a pair for Nike Gato II Camos for $ 29.99. I was also able to get black&white Free Runs 5.0 for $ 59.99. Some of the clothes are good deals as well, just depends what you want. Female shoes are affordable, I was able to get a pair of trainers for my wife for about $ 40. Only downside is my feet are average sized so alot of shoes from sizes 9.5−10.5 are usually out. I was trying to pick up a couple of shoes but they had every size but mine. They will just tell you they are out and you have to check back every now and then. I also feel like they can have more mirrors and seating in between the aisles.
Besides the no tax part, they do accept Military Discount, so I was able to receive 10% off the total price.
Going to these store you have to be lenient, because they wont always have the exact shoe or color you want. But if you are going just to see what deals you can for some nice shoes and clothes then this would be a good place to shop around and hunt for bargains.

Meh. I had really high hopes for this place… but sadly, their selection is underwhelming and disorganized. The shoe section was the most poorly disorganized — boxes labeled incorrectly, placed incorrectly, etc. Plus the sales and styles weren’t even that good!
Also the location is kinda shady. There were a bunch of homeless kids digging through the trash right outside… Not worth deliberately making your way here if you’re not already in the area.

Outlets makes me happy, their prices makes me happy, and the vast variety of sales makes me all giddy inside! ‘Cause sports bras are no joke and those suckers are expensive AF. The service is pretty chill and some of the workers have these hand held devices that can check you at all throughout the store rather than waiting inline to pay for your items.

Matthew helped me out pick a pair of running shoes after thoroughly educating me on all the different models and their technology. He was very professional, easy to work with, and got me fitted perfectly.
I ended up choosing the red Free 4.0’s and I love them! Most of the discomfort I usually feel on my longer distance runs disappeared and my cool-​downs have a spring in my step.
The store layout is easy and breathable and checkout was a breeze.

No Sales Tax!
If you can get into the employee store, then that is a way better option. But if you can’t or if they don’t have something you want, this factory outlet is your Plan B.
It’s not as crazy, and there are a ton of deals and a huge selection.

Why I shop here often to get a good deal on Nike today has made me reconsider taking trips to this location.
Parking: can often find a spot across the street but the parking spaces are not adequate for an SUV.
Service: multiple people walking around, one day they ask you a million times if you need help then the next time they don’t even see there are customers.
My one star rating is based off of today’s experience! It took 20 mins to do a return based off of them having computer issues which is far too long and hard to be understanding when you are standing in line with a 3 year old. Come to find out they could’ve just did cash since there was at least a receipt. While standing in line my 3 year old expresses he has to pee, I tell the manager who was helping me and run him back to the restroom. When I get back there the door is locked and I had to wait an additional 3 mins for someone to unlock it. How upsetting for a toddler to pee his pants waiting on someone else. Why is the door locked anyways? Because it’s on MLK? That neighborhood isn’t even a bad one, come up with a better system.

Factory outlets are usually a hit or miss, and the time I went to this one — it was a miss. I came in because 1) tax-​free shopping (visiting from California) and 2) I don’t mind buying last seasons shoes at a discounted price. I checked out the clearance section first hoping I’d find a steal. But all I found was a disorganized section with different sized shoes not in its proper location. I was also disappointed with the fact that the Men’s shoe section was much larger than the Women’s. I’ve been to other Nike factory outlets and this wasn’t the case. So I had less selection for running shoes as well as a lack of stock on my size.
Apparel-​wise, prices were decent, but I didn’t understand why they’d put stickers on sports bras with the suggested price and the discount price at the same price. Great — I get 0 dollars off 40 bucks, what a steal!
I’m sure there are good days to this store, most likely when it’s the end of the season when all the new stuff is hitting the shelves in the actual Nike store. This time just wasn’t for me.

I was really excited to get to visit a Nike Factory outlet in Portland but was sadly a bit disappointed. I live near the Outlets at Orange so I guess I get to be spoiled by the Nike factory there. I found that they had much of the same selections and I didn’t get to find anything different, new, etc… I guess next time I’m going to have to try to get to the Nike Headquarters!

I live in WA but took a trip to Portland on a random Saturday and decided to stop in here thinking I would find the best prices in the WORLD on Nike’s… but I was sadly mistaken, because mostly all the prices are just as much as any other nike factory; some shoes even more expensive than other stores! And I, unfortunately, was not too impressed with their limited assortment of Nike Free 5.0’s. The store, however, was very clean and had LOTS of children’s clothes on sale to choose from.

NO SALES TAX!!!
Yeah I think that’s the only thing I liked about this nike store compared to the others I’ve been. No sales tax. So awesome.
I was actually quite disappointed with the options they have at this factory store since nike was born in Oregon. I did find a pair of running shoes that I bought. Other than that, this store doesn’t have much to offer. Boo.
